Marilz: I sent an email to school first, to confirm i'll get my full refund.
Once confirmed, they requested for proof of visa withdrawal. then i sent an email to embassy that i cant fulfil the purpose for which i applied for the visa as my resumption date have passed. I got acknowledgement from embassy and sent to school. what I’m asking is how you reached the embassy to ask for your passport back and the withdrawal letter from the embassy. Because when I tried contacting the embassy for a withdrawal they gave me the same generic message about my visa is in queue |

Toolsin: Yes Avat number, if they follow FIFO we should have our decisions by now. No update no information from the embassy it's kind of..... I think it’s because it’s not only study visas that are being assessed. Other types of visas takes shorter to verify |

Marilz: What almost 3 weeks to get to the embassy?. I was even thinking maybe mine was sent to dublin that was why it took so long.
or is VFS doing this to manage applicants expectations? coz sending a documents within Abuja shouldn't take that long.
I'm just tired at this point. when did yours get to the embassy? |
