The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC ) has banned the posting of corps members to the Udu and Warri South-West Local Government Areas of Delta State.

The NYSC Co-ordinator in the state, Mr. Benjamin Ayodele, who disclosed this, said the decision was due to the lingering boundary dispute between Aladja community in Udu LGA and Ogbe-Ijoh community in Warri South West LGA, which has led to killing of several persons and the destruction of property valued at several millions of naira.

Ayodele said the Board of Governing Council of the NYSC, following unhealthy security reports, had arrived at the conclusion that both communities were no longer safe for corps members.
