At first I was wondering why you jumped in their defense so fast. Now I get why. I'm sure someone else will still ask questions and I'll give the reflex action you gave to me. Thanks for encouraging me. I'm happy!

At B.Y mafit, there are no hidden charges. I was also surprise too. I did my toefl exam registration with them and my score is above 80, they are very organized. Although I did it with them before they move to their new site, no text book but I was given all necessary and current materials that will aid my preparation to succeed.Lectures period is on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. But I can tell you that you won't regret registering with them. You can check them out yourself.

How far? What are the results of your findings?
So sorry I have not been back to update you guys. Had lots to do recently. So here is how it went.

I visited the office as planned and first met with the Halogen guys at the gate. Those guys can look. Chai! but they are nice sha. I wrote my name on their log book and one of them escorted me to the office. That was nice and I felt honored. Lol. I got to the reception and a receptionist (Lydia) attended to me. I sat at the reception while I waited to be attended to as they had quite a number of people before me. I was almost blown away by the powerful Air conditioners there (Got to a point I requested that they help me reduce it. This is Nigeria. Lol). So, she led me to another office where they have their counselors. I spoke with one of them (Victoria) and she made me realize the fact that there was no hidden charges and all. She spoke really well. There's this foreign feel about their office and they way they treat you.

So, I made payments for the TOEFL and came back the next day for the lectures. We had the speaking class first and the Director personally came to take us on the speaking section.. With such a big organization and the number of staffs, I was awed that the director (Mr. Ayo) could actually decide to take some of the classes himself. We talked later though and he made me realize it was just a passion.

So, over the period of a month we covered the Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing sections. We had some Chinese and Indians in the class as well. They were really good at dragging us back! angry angry angry angry angry angry The sections were covered very very excellently and professionally. The lectures are fun! Anyone who has attended lectures at B.Y Mafit would attest to the fact that those lectures are very very deep and yet fun. You will keep laughing and laughing and laughing. Thanks to Mr. Ayo and his funny jokes. The funniest was the girl that was always followed around by her boyfriend and she failed the he cos he kept on doing Mr romantic.

At the end of the fourth week, I had made so many friends and I knew I was well prepared.

I scored 113 out of 120I will attach my result in another post.

If I speak so well of these guys you have to understand why. I can blow their trumpets freely cos they really helped me at zero cost. God bless that handsome man... Mr. Ayo. I'm really happy cos when you go to some other places and they charge you an arm and a leg and still give you BS, these guys do it for free and give you the best you can get with international standards.

So, there it goes. They turned me from a curious person to an ambassador. Anybody can visit the place and confirm all I just wrote.

I'm not originally a member of Nairaland, but signed up to comment on this. I have gone through this thread and I'm kinda surprised cos I visited the site: http://www.gregmattoeflnigeria.com and saw all these Freebies ish. Now, here's a quote from the site:
We are now at our Ultra Modern Office Complex with state of the art lecture halls. Our lectures halls are A.C tight, with projector aided learning and world class learning aids in a state of the art environment. Our promise is to be the BEST... As always.

B.Y Mafit Limited.

Now, also their price for registration is N45,000 which is the same rate of dollar exchange given the prevailing exchange rate of the TOEFL fees. It doesn't end there! They give you free text books and you get free counseling and all that amongst other freebies. I inquired somewhere where they said registration is N45,000 and free materials only for me to be told materials cost N5000 extra and lectures is between 20-40k.

But these guys are giving ALL THESE Free? Does that even make sense? Looking at their site and a bit of background check, they are Internationally renowned with lots of awards bagged and you'll see the International guys who work with them as well, so I know they are at least what they say they are.

I'm still wondering though. What's the catch?!?!!? Maybe there are some hidden charges or something? I will visit the place this week and will post my findings before the week runs out.

Sorry OP for hijacking your thread. I believe my findings will be useful as well.
