Hi all. Let me start by saying I am not from Nigeria. I work for a non profit organisation that helps people have easier access to money from anywhere in the world just with a phone and internet connection, for free. I am trying to find out the best way to inform and educate the Nigerian community about what we do and how we can help people. As a non profit organisation, what we create is completely free and accessible tool for all. The difficulty is to create awareness and find out how to best share information, what to focus on. Are there any tips on how to best get the attention of Nigerian people and how to best inform people of a free tool like this? As I said we are non profit, we don't have a budget for ad campaigns or paid marketing. I won't mention the non profit I work for or what the product is called as I don't want this to be seen as an ad or anything. Thanks ![]() |
Digital currency has been growing in Nigeria for some time. For some it might be difficult to get started with it and some don't know how to learn more about it. To inform and educate people a bit more about digital currencies and nano, we have written a guide that explains what it is, how it works and how you can get started. To be clear, we are a non profit organisation and one of our main goals is education. It is important to know that these new currencies and specifically nano is not for investing. It is to use as money. To send and receive value globally without needing a bank account. One of the main points is that a currency like nano can help people. For instance, someone in Lagos is using it to support orphanages. It works great for donations because money can be sent anywhere globally without transaction fees. All that is needed is a smartphone and an internet connection. You can read about the orphanage initiative here: https://nano.org/en/blog/how-samuel-uses-nano-to-support-orphanages-in-lagos--4adc7f4c Read our guide here https://nano.org/en/blog/the-beginners-guide-to-cryptocurrency-and-nano--652f72a2 And to explore more how nano can help many people that do not have easy access to banking, check this out https://nano.org/en/blog/why-nano-can-build-a-bridge-to-the-global-economy--377ae697 Our goal is to educate people. We would love to know your thoughts on the above information. Do you feel like this is useful for education? How can it be better? Let me know in the comments ![]() |

You MUST post your 'nano_' address below, or we can't send any. Get yourself a wallet if you don't have one: Natrium (www.natrium.io) or www.nault.cc (desktop) are recommended; it takes roughly one minute to set up. It's all free. I'll send a few cents of Nano to anyone who comments their Nano address, so if you want to try out Nano you can do so with no strings attached. We do not encourage investing in cryptocurrencies or nano. We only encourage open minded look at technologies that can be useful and want to enable people to try it out. After 24 hours I'll ALSO send the jackpot to one lucky winner if at least 100 people reply, using an address picked randomly from this thread. There's currently 250 Nano in there, for a ~$250 pot. I'll add in 1 Nano for every 100 replies, so the pot grows. What is Nano? Nano is a digital currency/cryptocurrency that offers secure, feeless, instant, and eco-friendly transactions on a secure and decentralized network. Here is an article on the basics of Nano: https://senatus.substack.com/p/the-basics-of-nano-why-its-such-an. Because it's a global, feeless currency, I can send everyone some, and it will be in your wallet instantly (<1 second). This giveaway is hosted and set up by the Nano community for Free Money Day, and paid for by donations from people all over the world. If you have any questions feel free to ask below. Now post your Nano_ address and get free Nano! Can’t reply to the post or want more nano? Download WeNano (https://wenano.net/) and get more nano using geolocation! |
