1. You could both be picked up with a driver with flowers for her
2. There is rose petals from the entrance of the room to the bed and to the shower at the hotel
3. Find time to sneak out to perfect things for the following day
4. Take her for the dinner where friends and family are waiting and
5. Walla . . . .Surprise starts with fun all night

BUT with kids, it wont be easy with the 200K budget

For the cake.lets do 14inches. My wife like chocolate cake with little sugar. Soft and no nuts or those round things inside.

Well, people usually have lots of energy, are you and your friends open, jovial types? You could make it a Kiddie-Party for adults. Be a proud agbaya.

Mother-and-Daughter ten-ten match. Father-and-son Lime and spoon relay race. Dancing chairs for the adults (the older kids will control the dj). Get 4 of her friends to come up and tell a story from her past. When she's cutting her cake, give everyone a small amount of confetti (packets of it should be sold in markets not too expensively) and let the. throw it in the air (it will make a wonderful picture). Gele-tying competition for the husbands. And madam should wear a gold crown all through the party (just like a kid would). Get a big white shirt and have everyone sign it when they come, so you can have a keepsake rather than cards she'll throw away.

Let me think of some more ideas...

I see people are still missing the point, so i will state it again, This is not stress for me at all, infact its is fun and i am sure the day will be fun filled, this what i want for Nairalanders to help me plan a small party for my Love, and i am sure we will achieve success at the end of the day, i don't need any event planner etc. if you are a vendor and you price is competitive please comment here, @yomibabe, please comment here, there is noting to hide, lets just have fun guys.

You could be right but i did have a party like this only that the ladies did the grilling.I had like 7 ladies helping and it was a party of 60 peeps there about. I had anything grill-able,from sausage,samousas,coconut rice,skewers just name it!

I had a long table and displayed all the food in platters for service.The kids had what you call small chops(sandwiches,cup cakes,ice-creams,carrot and cucumber sticks as well as fruits sticks).

It was different and people really loved it.

That is why i said it could be a bit of work for naija peeps .

Sorry, it'll will be a waste for kids, they'll just have the puffpuff and mosa and throw away the rest. You can buy donuts at any fast food and just serve With the icecream, popcorn comes prepacked now, so easy

The kids are easy to please, they could have waffles, popcorn, donuts and hotdog. A cup of Chapman is 350 naira or less, depending on your vendor. 100 cups is 35k, you are still covered. It all depends on the number of people you invite.

Ok. I will look out for gizdodo today. Can I just do smll chops for the kids?

Since its a small party, major things to consider - small chops/finger food, drinks, canopy, chairs and music.

Canopy - a 10 ft by 20ft will do just fine. Shouldn't cost more than 5k to rent.

Chairs - 5 dozen at 500 naira =2500

Tables - 4 @ 500naira = 2000
Music - a dj, depending on your area- 10-25k

Food - since you want something different, you can have the regular naija small chops menu, also get some to grill chicken or fish barbecue with chips, asun or Gizdodo, hotdogs and waffles are not regular, for the kids, donuts, icecream will keep them happy. This you can get for 120-150k

Drinks - Get Chapman or smoothies, rather than the regular soft drinks and alcohol

The fish barbecue is a fantastic idea. Abeg what is gizdodo? Chapman or smoothie is not bad too but will 200k cover it?

We have ice cream maker so we can make for the kids...what else for kids?
