THE GRADUATES HAVE ARRIVED, A NEW HOPE FOR ENUGU STATE:AN INTRO TO WHO WE ARE . The greatest resource and goldmine of Enugu State is not beneath our soil, it is our youths. The majority of our youths are graduates. They are not ordinary citizens; they are elites, men and women with immense potential, clear vision, and transformational ideas. What they have lacked is a platform to function. It is on this basis that the All Progressive Graduate General Assembly was formed. WE AND THE GOVERNMENT: Frankly speaking, before the administration of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, politics was perceived by many young people as an enterprise far removed from graduates. Today, the entrance of Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah into governance has completely changed that narrative. The administration of Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah brought intellectualism, dignity, and class into governance in Enugu State. He has restored the prestige of public service and made politics attractive to graduates again. We are solidly behind the administration of Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and his bold vision for a new Enugu State. In strong collaboration with the State Government, we are building a platform that gives every average graduate a place to start. OUR CORE MANDATE IS CLEAR: To address graduate unemployment and underemployment: Moving our graduates from job-seeking to job-creating and job-filling. To empower graduates with skills, opportunities and access: bridging the gap between qualification and opportunity. To fill existing vacancies and create new pathways: positioning our members to serve across Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Commissions and the private sector. We are not doing this alone. Our structure is rooted deep into the grassroots, from the State, to the 17 Local Government Areas, down to the 580 Autonomous Communities. We are working with dedicated coordinators across Enugu State to compile a comprehensive, updated database of graduate portfolios, skills and competences. This database will serve as a functional talent dashboard where qualified graduates can be easily identified, verified and recommended to fill opportunities as they arise. It will make it easier for Government, private sector and development partners to find the right talent, and it will help us plan better for the future of Enugu. This is a journey, and we have hit the ground running. In the coming days, we will continue to update Ndi Enugu on our activities, engagements and progress. This platform belongs to ALL graduates of Enugu State. It is open to discussions, ideas, constructive inputs and partnerships. We sincerely appreciate the Government of Enugu State, the Secretary to the State Government, our Patron Hon. Barr. Nwabueze Ugwu, our State Executive and our LGA Coordinators. We have the best hands on deck. A new hope for Enugu graduates is here. Stay with us. Hon.
