Cherish100: I'm an aspiring student of University of Uyo and I put the Institution as my 2nd choice in the just concluded UTME. I got 221 and wish to study International Relations. I would like to know how the cumulative score for the cut-off mark is derived.

Lets say the school wants 50 students in a particular department.
They take the average UTME and Post UTME Scores of all the students who applied for that department. Then, the first 50 is taken..

Others who scored above 180 in both exams and could not make their desired courses are always compensated with courses like ibibio, fisheries, kerosene engr. Etc
