ikorodureporta: When the Akara, Corn & Kulikuli statement started trending, I had to search for the video myself and watched to understand how it came about....
Dear Nigerians, most of you don't understand what she said - you're just being carried away by sentiments...
She was talking about how they're helping businesses with loans (that means you pay back later) and she referenced some other businesses that require less support (like akara, corn, etc) that they don't have to pay back (grant), so as to encourage those in that category.....
So why the uproar about it??
She's absolutely right in everything she said. Based on my experience with NGOs, we assist people with as little as helping them to get foodstuff to start cooking business. Some people just need cartons of indomie & eggs to establish it.... If you're very comfortable in life, you will never understand what she meant...
Some people just need the basic stuffs so that they can carry on... Like people doing shoe maker aboki job, what does it take to equip that box they carry about?
Let's be guided pls. Businesses are of different categories and she didn't limit what she said to the grant of about 50k. There's loan for those willing to pay back...
Like what someone said up there, your justification holds no water. That statement she made is an insult to Nigerians. What made it trend is because it’s coming from someone of her caliber.
A lady has gone viral after sharing her controversial stance on domestic violence. According to her, no matter the situation, a man should never hit a woman back—even if she starts the physical confrontation. In the trending video, she explained that she would rather face divorce, police involvement, or any other consequence than be physically assaulted by her partner. She argued that men should walk away, restrain the situation, or seek help instead of retaliating. Her comments have sparked intense debates online, with many people sharing different opinions on self-defense, gender equality, and domestic violence.
Why will you hit a man in the first place, why? You’re no longer a woman if you hit a man first.
Sirchiboy: Why should a struggling man marry a woman with no handwork or education and give birth to us to suffer . They blame it on God and the country
It is well! God will help everybody!
By the way, why is the price of cooking gas increasing everyday?
I have been to the following states: Eket, Akwa Ibom Ibadan, Oyo Abeokuta, Ogun Akungba, Ondo Kafanchan, Kaduna Ado/Oye, Ekiti Akoko Edo, Edo VI, Lagos Ife, Osun Including FCT These are the ones I can remember for now.
lymelyte: The only way a man raised by a single mother can be upright is when there is a responsible and respectable male figure in the background. In the form of an uncle, step father or an upright male figure. Anything other than these, can lead that young man astray. A man raised singlehandedly by a woman will be prone to been Gay, extremely emotional, lack of willpower, no grit, lack of ambition, lack of drive, timidity etc..I am not saying even kids from both parents household cant be very weak but it will heightened if the young boy is in the hand of a woman wholy.
Why are there so many cases of divorce? Several reasons:
1. People have left the Godly principles of marriage to embrace the worldly principles of marriage. God Almighty is the originator of marriage. He has a manual for that institution that is written in His Holy Book, the Bible. Follow the instructions that the manufacturer of marriage has stated concerning marriage and then you see yourself in a hitch-free marriage. For instance, The Bible says, husbands, love your wives and wives, submit to your husband. If you are not ready to love, you are not ready for marriage. As a woman, forget gender equality, if you are not ready to submit, you are not ready for marriage. 2. The enemy is against marriage… 3. Not understanding the meaning and purpose of marriage, thereby marrying for the wrong reasons or marrying with a wrong mindset about other gender and wrong mindset about marriage. 4. Spiritual factors (e.g spirit spouses) 5. Marrying the wrong person.
pook: I just read it. Though this link is not active. The writer had a foresight. We are all sitting on a gun powder in Nigeria. Give or take it, there will be civil war in somewhere between 5 years and 10 years from now. I hope those who have plans to leave the country leave before then.
The link is not going from my end. How did you open it, ca you please send the link to me?

“You are not doing well, you are not doing well. Is this government doing well?”. - Bishop David Oyedepo lambasts Tinubu’s Government for the first time in 3yrs pic.twitter.com/QZVinl148h
way fake news spread faster is very alarming! Nigerians are used to swallowing news hook line and sinker without verifying the authenticity. This is an old video, not a recent one. Bishop Oyedepo uttered that statement during Bihari’s regime, not during this current Tinubu’s administration. The evidence(s) is/are clear: Papa Oyedepo was wearing a tie in that video, he no longer wear a tie again currently which means it’s an old video. Furthermore, you can see Bishop Abioye in that video, currently, Abioye is no longer with Winners Chapel. Let’s verify the authenticity of any news before spreading them please.
Onegai: UkoAnnang, If you want to hear God's Word, may I please suggest Tim Keller on YouTube?
Not prosperity gospel, just understanding God's Heart towards us. Actual teaching and then there are some Nigerian Pastors, but you've never heard of them. They call out the lifestyle of the modern Nigerian Church and Nigerian society.
