Stop making football boring, awards in football shouldn't be just about winning trophies. U must play key roles in the team.
I can't recollect just a match where Obi won a Man of the Match award all in his years of playing for Chelsea..
That year 2013, it should have been Enyeama.
Mikel deserved CAF player of the year, he was instrumental to Chelsea’s champions league victory, he was also instrumental to Super Eagles triumphant outing that same year on the continent, he was even voted the player of the tournament by CAF, so yes he should been Ames the CAF player of year 2013..

There’s possibility that the police won’t go beyond the public statement they reluctantly put out just to deceive the general public..

If such statement were made by someone from a certain region of the country, I can bet you that the Nigeria police would have been swift in arresting the guy…

On a separate note, PO is not president material. His arguments are populist, devoid of logic, lacking sound reasoning and proper acumen. He is a rabble rouser and a bigot (on both religious and ethnic grounds).

His opponents know it and his myrmidon supporters know it.

Abeg encourage him to contest in 2027, let us check something.
If you are looking for a bigot, look no further than Tinubu himself, a man who cannot think beyond his ethnicity, in Tinubu’s Government the only thing that qualifies you to get a juicy and sensitive appointment is the your ethnicity or you are an associate..

Things are becoming harder on daily basis. No progress whatsoever but the president and his wife are moving about with convoy of over 100 escort at a go. To what end? They are asking masses to continue to bear but they are sharing money on daily basis. If you are still supporting this government, just be ready for the curse of the masses.

Well I don’t think motions like this required lobby to enable it scale through, People talk about the June today because of the rule played by Prof.Humphrey Nwaosu.

Today a lot of Nigerians are complaining about the performance of the current Imec under the leadership of Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, so how do we encourage people to be selfless and patriotic in their line of duty if we cannot give people like Late prof.Humphrey Nwaosu their due recognition and honor?

Why is it so easy for the system to give unworthy elements national honors and recognition instead of deserving individuals?

Sen.Abaribe Enyinnaya has nothing personal to benefit nor his constituents with this motion, the man deserve some respect and privilege as a ranking senator…

CrimeRe: Uproar As Fulani Herdsmen Are Filmed Uprooting Cassava To Feed Their Cows (fotos by Forumobserver12(m): 1:09pm On Mar 15, 2025
UncleJJ:
Another case of disinformation.
https://www.apa.org/topics/journalism-facts/misinformation-disinformation

1. The spoken language is Fulani, until we have someone to translate . Nobody can claim to understand what is said.
2. No evidence of violence, or disagreement. Where are the farm owners.
3. It is a well known fact, that farmers often give out their farm to cattle herders for grazing in exchange for money

We should expect more anti-fulani propaganda in the coming years, as we edge close to May 2027 elections.
Is this a sarcasm or what? So you mean a farmer will willfully give out his crops to herders to feed their cow?

My only worry is that a lot of people seem to be shocked that such thing could happen, it goes to show that they are not abreast with reality in Nigeria..

This things has been occurring for years now, last year my brother cassava farm was completely destroyed by these herders even when he tried to put a wooden fence to prevent further destruction, these beasts deliberately destroyed the fence and destroyed the remaining crops, as at this moment there’s nothing left in that farm not even a single crop..

If my brother decides to pay them back in their own coin our Government will term it herders-farmers clash..

How can you destroy other peoples farmland because you want to feed your cow?

Nigeria government is just playing politics with these issue, a serious government will put an outright law in place banning open grazing…

People have piggery farms, poultry farms and all kinds of farm, cow business is a lucrative business , therefore government should make those interested in the business to build a private ranch and confine their cows in one place instead of moving around looking for trouble in the name of grazing..

But a deputy governor is part of the executive. There can always be disagreements within the executive.
However, a speaker is head of the legislature, a different arm of government and should be insulated from the influence of the state governor, all things being equal.
So why did he have to handpick the leadership of National Assembly ? What is good at national level is equally good at state level..

I don’t understand fathers who abandon their children when they need them the most, only to reappear later—when the child has made it—to claim a share in what they never helped to build. After all, it’s a father who brings a son into the world, not the other way around. Family is more than just blood; it’s about the people who stand by you through thick and thin, those who would bleed for you if necessary

That said, the optics of this situation don’t reflect well on the young man’s brand, regardless of their history. When you’ve reached a certain level of success, magnanimity is expected. Sometimes, you have to rise above and overlook things—not for their sake, but for the stature you’ve attained.
Well balanced submission, nothing to add or subtract…
PoliticsRe: See Tigran Gambaryan's Reply To FG's tweet by Forumobserver12(m): 10:53am On Feb 15, 2025
helinues:
Stop talking

Since FG acted on Binance dollar manipulating in Nigeria, Naira has been gaining strength.

Is it only Nigeria Binance was banned or have issue with the government country?

Why should we be using crypto rate as dollar rate in Nigeria?

Annoyingly, those who have no idea about the extent of Binance manipulation would come on this thread to defend him. Annoyingly

Modified: It's important for Nigerians to have a clue about the basis of Binance trouble in Nigeria.

So Binance and some crooks in Nigeria, colluded together to be placing fake orders on Binance which will required dollars settlement. The crooks would use the receipt of the placed orders to exchange naira to dollar at a very discounted price as the amount is huge.

Eventually, the orders are not existing, the demanded dollars are meant to be laundered outside Nigeria most especially other African countries and sell at high price.

It got to the extent that there was too much demand on dollar which made the suspicion.

Now , how many years have Binance been manipulating naira-dollar rate in Nigeria? That some people said Binance left a year ago while the dollar is still around N1500. So you expect years of manipulating to be vanished within a year?
For all your explanations and efforts trying to defend the Government as usual, my question is..

According to your submission Binance has been manipulating the currency for many years…

So how come suddenly naira depreciated so bad immeasurably the current Government removed subsidy and floated the naira?

Does it mean that Binance were not operating in Nigeria before the current government came in, how come we suddenly felt the effect of the activities of Binance immediately Tinubu made those policy statements?

We need to criminalise production of fake foods. Also addition of poisonous substances/additives to food!

Some abokis add sniper to stock fish!
Some water melon sellers add chemicals.to increase the redness of the fruit!

Some fufu producers add detergents to the raw material to increase the quantity of the final product (fufu).

Gari producers too won't wait for the required fermentation of the cassava before grinding and roasting which increases the cyanide content of garri causing blindness or other eye defects.

We need more death sentences for all these culprits and more!
I’m with you on this 100% , honestly they should be stiffer punishment to anybody or organizations caught producing and selling fake food products..

People are dying of all kinds of illnesses due to what we eats on daily bases.

If you want to fund it ourselves, we would have to increase the health budget.

HIV drugs are expensive. Very much so. Back in the good old days, an accquaintance of my dad's was spending half his salary on HIV drugs for himself and his son. That was before the days of PEPFAR.

And they used to be more expensive. In the early 2000's there was a big fight to reduce the price of the drugs. Court cases, people like Bill Gates advocating, etc....

Even now, new HIV drugs are still expensive. There is a new drug that is very very revolutionary. It works and can be given once every three months. South Africa was negotiating with the drug company to buy the drug. The drug company massively cut the price of the drug...to the point that they would lose money selling it...and yet it was far too expensive for South Africa. Right now, they are at a deadlock in negotiations. Neither side is budging.

If you want your government to fund the drugs...then maybe you should vote a government that would do like the UK does...take half your salary to fund things like a NIgerian National health service, where heathcare would be free totally at the point of entry.
How much exactly is the American government donating in that regards that Nigeria government cannot comfortably fill the gap?

It’s easy for them to steal and loot recklessly but when it comes to things that will benefit the common man they will suddenly realized that the country is broke..
