Rejouir: Especially greed, southeasterners are too greedy, very greedy people. Are the southeasterners responsible for the high cost of food stocks in places like Lagos too? These things are grown in the north and such it's expected to be cheaper over there.. Do you know how much it cost to transport this things from North to Southern Nigeria including the money our security men extort from them before the goods arrived there final destinations ? It's easy for some of you guys to seat at the comfort of your homs to blame others for what you know nothing about... Are you aware that locally produced rice are cheaper in the South east than places like Lagos? Have you asked yourself why? |

Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Reinstated Fuel Subsidy Will Drain Almost Half Of Oil Revenue—IMF Warns by Forumobserver12(m): 11:33pm On May 10, 2024 |
Georgry: Tinubu was very careless to declare that fuel subsidy was gone on the day of his inauguration without even making proper arrangements for the expected ripple effect, floating the Naira immediately after that doesn't make sense either, they created a mess, this government has been so pathetic when it comes to the management of the Nigerian economy. When I seat down to analyze the removal of fuel subsidy and the subsequent floating of the Naira, one will tend to believe that Tinubu lack the economic competence to lead the country, What this present government did was purely economic sabotage and suicidal...Look at what they have brought upon on the masses...Paying 3x more than what the previous government was paying in subsidy due to the floating of Naira.. Governance is not about Propaganda and Gra Gra...The reality is that Nigerians are economically better off a year ago than today, this is a sad reality and i never believed that Buhari could be better than anyone else, sadly I have been proven wrong... |

stepaside1: Alex Otti was once in the APC. The Labour platform provided him the springboard to become Abia Governor that he had unsuccessfully bidded for under other platforms in the past.
With a most likely successful 8 yrs as Abia Governor, he will thereafter set his eyes on the Presidency. He will have people like Peter Obi, Soludo, Umahi and others to contend with. He will need a platform that enables him reach far and wide and APC is the most likely vehicle. He will surely be weighing his options. The last time I checked Eng.Dave Umahi is still a member of APC and also one of the super ministers under this present administration, so how did you did arrived at your conclusion that APC will be a better option for Alex Otti's future political aspiration,We are all aware that Eng.Umahi has a presidential ambition after all.. |

He knows no matter how well he performs, his people will always put sentiments over competency, and coupled with the hate they have for Tinubu, he has to secure his second term before banning Obi from coming to the government house in Umuhahia all in the name of Loser’s party. Success has many parents while failure is an orphan...If I may ask you, can you give us brief about Dr Alex Otti's political journey so far? |

The Naira devaluation is stupid. I am not among the vrchins that defend the devaluation. But only a fool will think this man is better than BAT. Amotolongbo: This Minister appears to be the most performing Minister in this administration based on his performance on passport registration and collection. Honestly, when thinking deeply, what we call performance by the minister is nothing but a negative energy. We are all rushing and jostling to have the international passport for the sole reason of escaping from the unpalatable conditions of the country. If our country is good, the ease of reg and collection of collecting the international should be the least of the yardsticks in rating the performance of the Minister of Interior having agencies under it (apart from International passport registration and collection)
While discussing with many Scottish here, I realised that many of them don’t have an international passport nor think of having one in the future. They only need the international passport for international vacations, they rarely relocate.
The Minister should get this to his brain, he could only hide the truth using the media propaganda for a while, the truth can’t be hidden forever. You took the words out of my fingers, our quest to Japa have made the minister a hero to some Nigeria s..I wonder how we get here in the first instance.. |

So if you have been buying rice for 50k then add 4.4% to it. It will give you 52200.
This applies to others.
Now you can clearly see the government wants to kill everyone.
How is this supposed to help the people.
You haven't created jobs or economic facilities and atmosphere to help people build income yet you are directly contributing to more hardship.
