However, when it comes to financial improvement or achieving success, reading alone isn’t enough. Without taking practical steps and putting in the effort to implement strategies, all the knowledge in the world won’t lead to tangible results. Reading is the foundation, but action is the catalyst for change.

Nigerians read books for reading’s sake. They don’t do it to better their lives. It reminds me of an entry I saw here once; people who dwelled in a slum. In that slum resided a book merchant. He had consumed over 300 books and counting. The knowledge he got from them was endless quotes from great men. He still lived in his one-bedroom tent with a pit toilet located metres away.
