It is clearly stated, even from the first paragraph that the tenant and landlord had issues over unpaid rent.
My statement 'e no easy ...' emphasizes the difficulty for tenants to pay their rent when due and also for landlords to extract their money from tenants. I wonder what your problem is as the statement is simple enough to understand even for low IQ persons. And besides, I own you no explanation for this. I am really surprised by your foolishness.

If the business owner pays every staff just minimum wage, that would amount to N900k monthly and over N10m per annum...

To pay that salary, the business would either need to lay off 70% of its workforce (which might end up crippling operations if it needs the workers) or significantly increase the price of its goods and services to meet up which in turn would negate whatever previous increase in salaries.

As much as an increase in salaries and wages is long overdue, it has to be sustainable, categorised, be done along with policies that significantly reduce cost of doing business, placement of all political office holders on minimum wage and tieing of income to assets and taxes.

There is sufficent provision for that in the minimum wage act. For private businesses, the staff must be up to 25 for the act to be applicable.

(same problem Jonathan and Buhari could not solve for more than 12 years), should Nigeria workers wait for steady electricity, good roads etc before they take care of their children since they dont need nominal wage but real wage. What we should look at is how to tackle the issue causing naira to lose value which are insecurity in the north, fuel import, bad roads, mismanagement of funds by state governors, poor support to farmers. If all this are tackled then naira will gain value within few years to come
