God told them not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because one man was not made to know evil and you see what happened when they did eat from the tree the source of their knowledge changed from God to their senses. I hope that helps. Thanks |
In Matthew 9:27-30 it reads, 27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” 28When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29Then He touched their eyes, saying, “It shall be done to you according to your faith.” 30And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: “See that no one knows about this!” Notice, the first thing Jesus asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" And according to their response Jesus answered them, "It shall be done to you according to your faith." Why did Jesus ask that and respond that way, it was in connection with something God said all the way back in Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Notice, the first thing He said, "Be fruitful" that word fruitful means to bring forth. To bring forth means something comes out of you. Notice, Jesus taught in Mark 4 that the heart of a man is like soil/ground and words are seeds. Notice, what a seed is, it is the substance of something, in other words, according to the seed/substance that's in the ground will determine what comes out. Everyone understands that in the natural, but it also applies to the spiritual. Because, notice what faith is- the substance of things hoped for. So, the faith/substance of what's planted in the ground of your heart will determine what can/will come out. Notice, what Jesus said, "It shall be done to you according to your faith." Notice, the substance of the thing hoped for in the ground of his heart determined what had a right to come out. For what Jesus said in plain language- according to what's inside so be it outside. Now, this is the same Jesus that said in Mark 4:22 For there is nothing hid(that's inside, heart) which shall not be manifested(that's outside, life). That word manifested means visible/seen. So, all Jesus did was call for what was in them to be manifested. That's powerful because that means God is not determining, what you choose to put in you is determining. God doesn't determine what comes out of the earth, you do. So likewise, God doesn't determine what comes out of your heart, you do. According to the substance/faith you have inside will determine what is able to be manifested outside. You determine that not God, you determine what goes in the ground of your heart not God. That's why in Proverbs 4:23 God says to guard/keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. The word issue means boundary/border. The boundary or border of what can come out of you is what's in you. So, the limits in life don't come from the outside they come from the inside. In other words how can something come out if it hasn't been put in. So, you can't put everything off on God, well if God wants to do it then He'll just do it. Let's see what Jesus continued to say, in Mark 4:26-28 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. Who put the seed in the ground, man. Who determined what was put in the ground, man, so who determines what comes out, man. According to your faith, you determine the substance/faith in your heart not God. Notice, what Jesus said to the centurion that said to Jesus, "Speak the word only and my servant shall be Healed", And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. That's just like what he said to the two blind men, as on the inside so be it done outside. A sign of what you believe is what you speak, 2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. That's when what is inside manifests outside, Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Notice again, what is in you is what you will speak. Notice, what Jesus said to the woman with the issue of blood that said, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole", Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. When she believed and spoke what was inside it manifested outside. The substance she put inside was what she got manifested outside. Notice, Jesus gave the credit to her faith because Jesus did not determine what happened, she did. Like in Mark 6:5,6 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. Notice, they didn't have it inside so they didn't have it outside. The same thing with the disciples when they didn't cast out that devil in Matthew 17 notice what Jesus told them, And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. They didn't have the substance/faith inside so they didn't have it outside when they spoke. Because you can only bring forth what is in you. So, according to your faith is simply you having outside what is inside, it can't come out if it's not in. It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. |
Gen. 1:11-12,20-21,24,26-28: Be Fruitful And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Notice, God said, "Be fruitful" that word fruitful mean to bring forth, increase, grow. He's not just talking about having babies. He's empowering man with something for him to prosper. Now, when you hear bring forth the average person thinks of giving birth and that's good, when you give birth what do you do, you bring something from the inside to the outside. Notice, when God spoke to the earth and the waters something came into manifestation from the earth and waters. And then He put in the creation the ability to reproduce, so He doesn't have to keep creating, He gave the creation the ability to bring forth into the earth/manifestation. We understand that in the natural, but it is not limited to the natural. When God blessed man, He blessed man spirit/soul/and body. A man and woman get together 9 months later she brings forth a baby into the earth/manifestation. But, man is not limited to that for man is also spirit so spirit man is capable of bringing things into the earth/manifestation. Notice, in Gen. 17:4,5 God speaking to Abram, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. Notice, God said "For a father of many nations have I made thee" so we are talking about a finished work of God because He said, I have made thee. But, even though it was a finished work of God there was no manifestation of it because in Romans 4:19 it tells you that even though God said that his body was still dead, physically. So, we have a situation here God has done something and yet Abraham had no evidence of it in the natural. Notice, no evidence in the natural doesn't mean it's not done. When God does something it's done in the spirit. See, you are not here, let that sink in, you are in another realm, your body is here, but you are spirit. And when God does something it's done in the spiritual first and has to be received spiritually first. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Notice, you don't receive it physically until you first receive it spiritually. And that's what Abraham had to do, he had to receive it spiritually first because it was reality in the spiritual first. Notice, what God did He changed his name from Abram- Exalted Father to Abraham-Father of a Multitude. When God first told him that he didn't believe because verse 17 says, Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? So, first he didn't believe, but Rom. 10:17-faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Now, why is faith important? Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, one of the main teachings of Jesus is the heart of a man is like soil or ground and words are seeds. And you see him speaking of that in Mark 4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. Notice, what he's saying such as hear the word and receive it (receive it where, inside) and bring forth fruit (bringeth forth fruit where, outside). And he keeps explaining verse 22 For there is nothing hid(that's inside), which shall not be manifested(that's outside). Notice, God had to get the word that He told Abraham in his heart(inside) by changing his name in line with his promise. And the word that was put inside was brought forth/manifested outside. He's saying the same thing you have to receive it/have it inside to receive it outside in manifestation. And he keeps explaining verses 26-28 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground(that's inside); 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up(that's outside), he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. He made the same point 3 times because it important that you know it. You see in Mark 4:10,11: 10 But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve asked Him about the parable. 11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables. The mystery of the kingdom of God, mystery-secret, hidden truths. He tells you what the mystery is the word you put inside the fruit/manifestation will be seen outside. Look at what Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-33-- Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Notice what Jesus did not say, notice he did not say they will be given unto you. Because, 2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. They have been given now they have to be added or received or manifested. That's why Jesus kept making the same point, before it's received outside it first has to be received inside. And what's happening is people are praying to God to do things that are already done, when it's up to them to bring it forth, be fruitful.Abraham, I have made thee a father of many nation, now it would have been pointless for him to keep praying for it. Notice, God changed his name in line with what He promised him for him to get the faith to receive it. Now, instead of praying for it, bring it forth, be fruitful. A seed and faith are the same thing they are the substance of something that already is. You can't have a seed or substance of something that does not exist first. That's why faith is also evidence, it's proof that something has to be first before the seed or substance. So, I don't have to see it or feel it first to believe. God changed his name to get the faith, for him to start speaking right. Because, you will not receive from God speaking contrary to God. If you don't have it inside then you can not bring it outside, the substance has to go in for the thing to come out Mark 5:25-34: 25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Your faith has made you whole, what she had inside she brought forth to the outside. That was reality in the spiritual first and she had to receive it spiritually first and once it's received spiritually then the next thing is to speak it, to release it, to receive it physically. That's what Jesus taught over and over Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. If you get it inside you can bring it forth to the outside into manifestation. That's not something God does that's something we do. He blessed man, He commanded man to be fruitful. Now I see why what He says in Joshua 1:8:--8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (or you could say you start bringing things from the inside out. Make your way prosperous by bringing them from the inside to the outside.) Just like it says in Matthew 6 seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you, how, from the inside out. This will work for your healing Proverbs 4:20-22: 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. So, where did the life come from for Abrahams body because the scripture says his body was dead, the word. So, you keep the word in your heart and it can manifest in your flesh. So, healing can come from the inside out. The word you want manifested outside first has to be put inside. It has to go inside for you to bring it forth to the outside. You have to receive it spiritually before you receive it physically. The word has to go inside for it to be manifested outside. |
In Proverbs 4:20-22 it says something very powerful about God's word that people need to understand. It says, My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. They are life which has to do with revive, give life to, quicken, restore to life. That's wonderful by itself, but they are also health which means medicine, healing, remedy, and cure and that's to all your flesh. In connection with this Jesus taught a very powerful lesson that coincides with what Proverbs says. In Mark 4 Jesus taught the parable of the sower where he explains that the seed is the word of God and the place where the seed is sown is the heart of man(not your blood pump). So, he shows us that the heart of man is like soil. A principle of seed is the fruit(finished work) comes before the seed and the finished work is in the seed. A seed never produces an original it only produces a copy so whatever the seed produces has to be a finished work first. So, since God's word is healing seed then the healing already is. God doesn't have to whip something up just for your case He already has. Notice, in 1 Peter 2:24 it says, "By whose stripes ye were healed", it does not say you will be. You are not healed just when everything clears up and is gone, no, you are healed because God said it and Jesus fulfilled it. In Isaiah 53:5 it says, "And with his stripes we are healed." So, that's how God sees you and calls you, now what are you going to call you. Are you going to call yourself according to your condition or God's word. Notice, God has supplied healing for everyone, but you have to find them. Notice, God said his word is healing to those who find them. You have to find out what his word says about it and keep that in your eyes, ears(also mouth), and heart. People are looking for God to do something and God is looking for people to do something. It's like God saying, You don't have to wait on me to do something, take the medicine. It does not matter what the condition is or what part of the body it is. Sometimes doctors can't get to something in the body because of where it is, but the word can get to it. And note the word is not only health to all your flesh, but it is also life. So, if there's some part of your body that is dead the word of God can quicken it, give life to it. Look at Abraham and his wife Sarah, his body was dead and her womb was dead (Rom. 4:19). But, God promised them a child so He gave them new names from Abram-high father to Abraham-father of a multitude and from Sarai-my princess to Sarah-princess of nations. What you call yourself, say about your conditions are important. Is in line with God's word or your circumstance. And that name change, that word, brought life to their flesh. The word that they put in their hearts(Rom 4:20 Heb 11:11). And you see in Acts 14:7-10 there was a man cripple from birth, but he heard Paul preach and Paul perceived that the man had faith to be healed said with a loud voice, "Stand upright on thy feet" and the man leaped and walked. Notice, the word went in his heart and brought healing to his body. That's what the word does when it's planted in your heart, it's healing to all your flesh. |
1 Kings 17:1-9: 17 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 2 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5 So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. 7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. 8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. One day God spoke to me, "Did you notice, I commanded her to do something she had no way of doing naturally." Because, verses 10-12 reads: 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. 12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. (So, she had no way of doing what a God commanded.) And He said, "When I command you to do something you can not do it." In other words you can decide not to it. "But, if you act on it you can't not do it." In other words if you believe and act on it you can't fail. And you can't fail because the word can't fail. (1.) When God commands you everything that has to do with you fulfilling it is under that command and will come in line with it as you believe and act on it. Notice, it was nothing she could do within herself to do God's command. What she had needed to do something, since what she had wasn't enough. And as she acted what she needed to do God's command had to come in line with it. God is a creator, so when He commands you it doesn't matter if what you need is in the earth or not, it can be brought here if it's not here. You see the same thing happen in 2 kings 4:1-6 4 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. 2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. (Now she just told him she only a pot of oil, and yet he told her to get as many vessels as she can) 4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. 5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Again, if what you need is in the earth or not it can be brought here. When God commands you, you are not limited to what's in the earth only. God has a supply in the spirit for whatever you need. (2.) When God commands you, you are not limited to the natural operation of things. God's word overrides the natural operation of things. You see that in Matthew 14:25-32 25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.(Now this man is superseding gravity, based on a one word command, Come). So, God's word overrides natural laws. You see Peter again in Luke 5:1-6 when Jesus asked to use his boat for him to speak to the people and after he was finished he told Peter to, "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." One, you didn't fish in the daylight you fished at night. Two, he just got finished fishing all night. That's what he told him, And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And what happened, And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. Verse 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. Sometimes when God tells people to do something they tend to wait for a more opportune moment, but when He commands you to do it if it's not the best time to do it according to natural standards that has just become the most opportune moment. (3) When God commands you don't base it on your natural ability, what you can do, because He's not basing things according to your natural ability. It's not about your ability, it's about what He can do through you. And one scripture says, with God all things are possible. And another says, For with God nothing shall be impossible. So, all things can be done and there's nothing that can't be done with God. But, it also says all things are possible to him that believes. (4) Here's something I don't think people consider, when God commands you the empowerment, the ability comes with the command. In John 5:1-9 it talks about a man that was impotent for 38 years that was waiting at The Pool Of Bethesda, because at certain times an angel would come and stir the water and whoever stepped in first was healed of whatever he had. But, when Jesus saw the man notice what he told him to do, "Rise, take up thy bed, and walk." And what happened and he took up his bed and walked. Notice, Jesus commanded him to do the very thing he could not do. Naturally speaking what sense does it make to tell a lame man Rise, take up your bed, and walk unless your command was empowering him to do it. When you are dealing with God you can't apply natural logic/natural reasoning. Romans 8:5-8: For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be [b]carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the [c]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. If you are carnally minded then even though God is unlimited, He's limited in what He can do through you. Because, if He tells you to do something outside of the normal most likely you won't do it. It will be foolishness to you. But, God does his best work outside of the normal. God likes doing things outside of the normal. In 2 Kings 5 there was a Syrian captain that had leprosy and when the king of Syria found out there was a man of God, a prophet, that could cure him he sends him to the man of God to cure him. So, the Syrian captain goes to see the man of God and when he gets there the man of God sends a messenger out to him with a word (pick up there). 2 Kings 5:10-14: And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. 11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? 14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. Notice, what the man was looking for a big show, theatrics, a lot of noise, but no just do something simple. But, it's not in the theatrics, do you have a word from God, that's the key. You can't figure out how God is going to do something, so just get that thought out of your mind. God is not limited to how someone thinks something has to be done. God has a million ways to get you out of whatever you're in. And if you fixed on it can only be done one way you could miss out. Because, God loves doing things past your expectation. You can't substitute theatrics for the anointing. They don't have any anointing working so they so they substitute anointing for theatrics. But, yokes are destroyed by theatrics. (5) Sometimes when God speaks to you He will tell you an act to do and the results of the act. Now, understand when He does that you don't have to worry about the results. Because, once He speaks the results are set, the issue is will you believe it and act on it. In Numbers 21:5 the children of Israel came against Moses and God- And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. Now, when they did that the next scripture says that fiery serpents came among the people and bit the people and many of them died. Then the people came to Moses and asked him to pray to God to take away the serpents, so Moses prayed and God gave him a word. Numbers 21:8,9: And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. Now, wait a minute this thing was just killing people, but once the word was given if you did what He said what was just killing people can no longer kill you. See, God doesn't speak something and then have to struggle to do it, no. Once the word goes out the results are sure, it's set you can be assured of that. (6.) When God speaks to you He doesn't have to speak to you directly. If someone brings a word to you from God that's God speaking to you. In Luke 10:16 it reads- He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me. Because, when you send someone in your place it's regarded just as if it's you. You see that with the Roman centurion in Matt 8:5-13: 5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. But, if you look at Luke 7:1-3 talking about the same account it says: Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum. 2 And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die. 3 And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant. So, he himself was not even there, but the scripture has it recorded that he was there because he sent them in his place. So, when God sends someone with a word it's just like He is speaking to you. And the regard and respect you give it will determine the effect/results of it for you. So, most likely if you give it no respect it will have no effect. Didn't Jesus say that by tradition you make the word of God of no effect. 1 Thessalonians 2:13: For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. 2 Chronicles 20:20: And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. It's not the man, but the word that he carries. If you believe the word he brings and act on it(not just believe, but act on it) he says so shall you prosper. So, if you do not believe and act then you will not prosper in it. Personal Testimony: Years ago I had something going on with my body, all kinds of symptoms, I didn't know what it was. But, at the same time I was getting a magazine from a ministry every month and one of the articles was titled "How To Receive And Keep Your Healing." Where he talked about the word of God being seed and planting the word in your heart to receive healing, that was the first time I heard anything like that. And since I respected him I just did as he said, I continued to do as he said and in a matter if months I received just as he said. I believed the word, I acted on the word, and that word prospered me in healing. So, when God brings you a word believe it, act on it, and so shall you prosper. |
I was reading Jeremiah 3 and the grace and love of God, the heart of God is so amazing. After the children of Israel had done such evil as forgetting and forsaking God to worship idols and other kinds of evil the heart of God was still more toward showing mercy than judgement and condemnation. Yes, God is gracious and merciful, but He is gracious and merciful to deliver you from sin and not for you to stay in it and enjoy it. God wants you to turn from it not stay in it. After they had been doing their evil practices for a while God's heart was more than willing to show mercy. Jeremiah 3:1 KJV They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 3:12 KJV Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. Jeremiah 3:14 KJV Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: Jeremiah 3:20-22 KJV Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD. [21] A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God. [22] Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God. 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. God is not looking to turn people away. Sometimes people think they are out of God's reach of mercy and grace, but God is always there with his arms open to receive you. Someone might be a backslider, but God still says return and I'll take you back. And if God was that gracious and merciful under the old covenant, the scripture says we have a better covenant. Jesus brought us a better covenant, not one of being changed by rules, but one that changes your heart. God puts his nature in you and his spirit. Rules don't change your heart, rules are designed to keep you in line. God doesn't use something outside to change you, no. God puts it inside so that you are more inclined to do what's right than what's wrong. Under the old covenant God gave them rules to follow, the law, that's living from the outside-in. Now, the believer in Christ Jesus lives from the inside-out, God empowers you to live right. Rules don't empower you to live right they just tell you what to do and what not to do. Notice, what it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17,18 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation. Notice, what God imparts into you when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He imparts his very nature into you. When you had a sin nature it was natural to sin, it was easy. So, He put his nature of righteousness in you so that you would be more inclined to do what's right. When you were a sinner you had your roots in Adam a sinner so you produced fruits of that nature, sin. But, when you are born again you get new roots, your roots are now in Jesus. And with the new roots there will be new fruit, fruits of righteousness. In the new covenant you live from the inside-out, not outside-in. |
People do not realize what God has already done for them through Christ Jesus. But, God has already released grace and mercy to everyone and it's available for everyone through Christ Jesus. And God desires that you accept it, 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. A lot of people have the wrong idea of how God is. People think that God is waiting to condemn them or He's waiting to punish them, but God would rather show mercy that judgement. That's why 2 Peter 3:9 says, 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God is not willing that any should perish, so God is not looking to condemn you. And God has already done somethings to show his great love for you because that's who He is. Notice, what Romans 5:8 says, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. People don't understand what God has already done for them. God came down from heaven, Jesus was God in the flesh. 2 Timothy 3:16 says that God was manifest in the flesh. He came down from heaven and bore your sins in his own body (1 Peter 2:24). And when Jesus was going through the cross God put man in Christ, you were baptized into Christ. Colossians 2:12 says, Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Ephesians 2:5,6 says, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved [6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. And because you were baptized into Christ it is recorded in heaven that what he did you did because you were in him. Hebrews 7:9 ERV reads, The Levite priests receive their gifts from the people. But we could say that Levi himself gave a tenth part of what he had to Melchizedek. When Abraham gave his tenth part to Melchizedek, it was like Levi was there inside him. At that time, Levi was not yet born, but Abraham was his ancestor. Notice, because Levi was in Abraham when he paid tithes to Melchizedek you could say he paid tithes to Melchizedek when Abraham did because he was in him. And God followed that same principle when He put you in Christ Jesus so it's recorded in heaven that what Jesus did you did because you were in him. That's why the scriptures say you were buried with him, raised with him, ascended with him and is seated with him, now. That's what God has done for everyone, already. All that has been done for you in Christ, but you don't receive the benefits of what Jesus did for you until you receive him. God showed me as an example it's just like a class action law suite. You can be in a class action law suite and win, but if you don't accept the money then you don't get the benefits of the victory. Jesus won the victory for you, but if you don't receive him then you don't receive the benefits of what he did for you. And if your spirit departs your body and Jesus is not your Lord and Savior then you have to pay for your sins yourself. And Romans 6:23 says, For the wages of sin is death, well, death is separation. So, you will be eternally separated from God, which is hell. It's not that God hates people and sends them to hell, but that's the price of sin. Jesus paid the price for you, but because you didn't receive him you have to pay the price. But God doesn't want that as you read above God wants everyone to be saved. God worked hard to bring you salvation and He wants the fruits of his labor, He wants you saved. But, all He can do is present it to you, but you have to accept/receive it. That's when you get the benefits of what God has done for you. That's when you can walk in the benefits of what God has done for you in this life, here on earth. You are not out of reach of God's extended hand of grace. He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen. |
Things that are reality in the spirit, it's not that they don't exist, but they have to be received or manifested. You can't rely on your senses to tell you whether what God said is true or not. It's something outside of your sensory perception, but just because it's outside of your sensory perception doesn't mean it does not exists. For example a dog whistle, you can blow it all you want to, but you will never hear it, but a dog will. So, there is a sound because the dog hears it, but it's outside of your sensory perception. So, just because you can't perceive something with your senses doesn't mean it doesn't exist. In 2Kings 6 is were the children of Israel was at war with Syria and God was telling Elisha what the king of Syria battle plans were and he would tell the king of Israel his plans. So, the king of Syria sent his army to go get him. 2 Kings 6:15-17 KJV And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? [16] And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. [17] And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Notice, he didn't detect the spiritual with his senses, but it was real. Those chariots of fire were just as real as that army. Notice, he prayed that his servant's eyes be opened, but his natural eyes were already opened. So, apparently man has another pair of eyes. In Genesis 3:6,7-And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. [7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Notice, it says and the eyes of them both were opened, that word eyes in the Strong's Concordance means fountain. And fountain is defined as the source from which something proceeds or is supplied. So, when it says, the eyes of them both were opened the source of there knowledge changed from God to what their senses told them. They went from operating from their spirit to their flesh, senses. How do I know that because in verses 9-11 Genesis 3:9-11 KJV And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? [10] And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. [11] And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? Why would God ask him, "Who told thee that thou wast naked." A person can see that they're naked, so obviously their knowledge wasn't coming from their senses. Because, in Genesis 2:25 it says, And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. So, they went from operating from their spirit to their flesh, senses. The word knowledge in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil comes from a word that means to find out by the senses, that's knowledge by the senses. But, Romans 8:5,6 says, For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. To be carnally minded is death, death means separation. So, to be carnally minded separates you from the provisions of God. God is spirit, He doesn't speak to your flesh He speaks to your spirit, to the real you. The things of God has to be revealed to you, 1 Corinthians 2:9,10- But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. [10] But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. God speaks to you, spirit, not flesh. Both you and God are spirit. That's why when He does something He does it in the spiritual. Determinations are made in the spiritual and the outcomes are seen in the material/physical realm. God's word is God's determinations, God's word is what He has established in the spiritual. And when you act according to his word then you get the results of his word and not the results of the circumstances. Numbers 21:6-9: Numbers 21:6-9 KJV And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. [7] Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. [8] And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. [9] And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. These people were just getting bitten and dying, but God determined if someone was bitten and they looked at that serpent of brass they would live. Where was the determination made, in the spiritual. And the result or outcome was seen in the material/physical. You don't have to worry about God saying one thing and doing another. He said in Psalm 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once He establishes something He will not go against it. If He said one thing and did another how could you trust him. Even Jesus, when they sent word to Jesus that Lazarus was near death in John 11:4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. But he died, but Jesus already established in the spiritual that the sickness would not end in death. That's why he said in verse 11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. He knew the matter was already settled in the spiritual. What's established in the spiritual will be manifested in the physical. In John 17:17 Jesus said, God's word is truth. True reality is spiritual as God has determined. And faith is the substance of that realm Heb. 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Reality is defined as the state or quality of having existence or substance. So, faith is the substance of a realm not seen or outside of your perception. So, just like you have physical substance, you have spiritual substance. And according to Hebrews 11:3 all physical substance originated out of the spiritual. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Here's the thing about faith we about to see here, when it's released, it's released in the realm of the spirit and causes a corresponding manifestation in the physical. The main way you release your faith is with your words, 2 Cor. 4:13 says, We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. And what you believe there should be corresponding actions. Mark 5:25-34 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, [26] And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, [27] When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. [28] For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. [29] And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. [30] And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? [31] And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? [32] And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. [33] But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. [34] And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. If I may touch but his clothes I shall be whole, was a revelation of the spiritual and when she released her faith in it, by her words, she received it manifested. Where was the determination made in the spiritual and where was the outcome seen, in the physical. Faith deals with the spiritual, not the physical (Heb. 11:1). Notice, it says in verse 32 Jesus turned to see her that had done this thing. What thing did she do, verse 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? He didn't release the power faith drew the power out of him. Notice, she had words and corresponding action with faith not just words. James 2:20 says, faith without works is dead. And sometimes people say, I just going to believe God. Believing by itself is not enough, what actions are you taking. Act 14:7-10 And there they preached the gospel. [8] And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: [9] The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, [10] Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. Notice, the man had faith, but he still was not healed. Why? Because, he had no action with his faith. Paul knew he had faith so what did he do, he told him to act on his faith. Hebrews 11:3 Things which are seen were not made of things which do appear so that means the physical realm is a manifestation of the spiritual. Notice, Heb 11:3 says, the worlds were framed by the word of God. Well, Romans 10:8 says the word of God is the faith of God, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. So, faith when released which is spiritual causes a manifestation in the physical. In Matthew 21:20,21 talking about when Jesus spoke to the fig tree and it withered up, And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! [21] Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. Now, didn't Jesus just say if you release faith when you say there will be a corresponding manifestation in the physical. Notice, something will happen(physically) because of something done(spiritually). That's because the physical realm is only a manifestation of the spirit realm. In Genesis 17:5 God told Abraham that He made him a father of many nations, but his body was dead and his wife's womb was dead. A man with a dead body and a wife with a dead womb can't be a father of many nations, physically. So, God made him a father of many nations in the spiritual. But, notice how God had them receive He changed their names. They had to call themselves according to the word and not according to the condition of their body. He changed his name from Abram to Abraham which means-father of a multitude and his wife's name to Sarah which means princess of nations. The scripture says when God told them they were going to have a child they both laughed. Genesis 17:15-17 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. [16] And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. [17] Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? Because he didn't believe. That was Abraham Genes 18:10-12 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. [11] Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. [12] Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? There's Sarah and she didn't believe So, why did God change their names because his faith is transferred to you by his word, Romans 10:17 faith comes by hearing. And Romans 10:8 the word is near you even in your mouth and in your heart. And it must have worked because Romans 4:20 says about Abraham, He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. And Hebrews 11:11 says about Sarah, Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Understand this you receive from God by faith. God releases his faith in the spiritual to make it for you(the word of God is the faith of God, Romans 10: and you have to release your faith in it to manifest it in the physical (Abraham and Sarah). It was done on God's end and He needed them to receive it, by faith, on their end for it to manifest.Genesis 1:1-3,6-7,9 KJV In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. [6] And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. [7] And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. [9] And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. What you see is God speaking, but He was not just speaking He was releasing his faith. But, in Genesis 1:26-28 it reads-- And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. [27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. [28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. God gave man dominion over the earth, so now mankind is the authorized releaser. That's why it didn't manifest out of God's mouth, that's why He changed their names. Because, for it to manifest in the earth you have to releases faith in it. Matthew 17 when the disciples came to Jesus and asked why they couldn't cast out that devil what did he tell them, because of your unbelief. Because, they had the power Luke 9:1 reads, Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Notice, Jesus gave them the power, but look at what they asked him, why we could not. They didn't ask why we did not, they said could not so they had no faith that they could cast him out. So, all they were doing is just spitting out words, they didn't release any faith. And because they didn't release any faith they didn't manifest the power Jesus gave them (which was spiritual). It takes faith to manifest the spiritual. That's why Romans 8:6 says to be carnally minded is death, separation, because you can't access God's provisions in the spiritual. Because, a carnal minded person only considers what his flesh/senses tells him. Without faith you can't access his provisions in the spiritual. Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Since man's spiritual eyes were shut things have to be revealed to him, and reveal means to take of the cover. What God does is what Paul says in Ephesians 1:18 He enlightens the eyes of your understanding. And when you release your faith in it then it's legal for it to manifest physically. So, God's word gives you a glimpse of what's legal for you to manifest in the earth. What faith does is allows me to live the life God has provided for me in the spiritual in this material/physical realm. That's 2 Cor. 2:9,10 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. [10] But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit. God reveals finished works, reveal-to pull the cover off. So, there has to be something there or else what is pulling the cover off of. God reveals for us to manifest it by faith. Because, now if it's going to manifest we have to release our faith for it. So, the question is are we waiting on God to do something or is God waiting on us to manifest something. He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. |
John 3:16-17: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. God does not want to condemn the world, He wants people saved. And people think they have to get right before God will love them, but that is not scriptural. Notice, 1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. People don't really understand what Jesus has done for them. And He didn't wait for us to get right and do good before he did what he did. God spared not his own son, but delivered him up to pay for our sins (Rom. 8:32). Understand the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23). So, what Jesus did was offer himself up to take our place and punishment for our sins. And God's punishment for our sins was put on Jesus. And in our own justice system we have something called double jeopardy and one aspect of it is once the punishment for a crime has been satisfied no other person can be punished for it. So, Jesus took upon himself the wrath of God for us. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. And when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior then what Jesus did is credited to you. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh. And He was manifest in the flesh to reconcile mankind back to himself. God is not looking to turn anyone away, it's not God's will that anyone perish, He wants all to be saved. God's will is to show mercy rather than judgement. Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. When you receive Jesus then God becomes your Father. |
Words have effects on you in accordance with what they say, The Bible shows us this. Even names have effects of people, look at Jacob for instance his name means supplanter or one who takes the place of another and what did he do, he ended up deceiving his father as if he was his brother. Notice, he exhibited the characteristic of his name. And you see in 1 Samuel 25 there was a man named Nabal, while David was on the run both he and his men watched over his servants and herds so David sent some men to go ask him for some food. But, when they did he treated them roughly so they went back and told David what he had said so David told his men to get their swords because he was going to kill Nabal and all his servants. But, when Nabal's wife heard what he had done she hurried and loaded some asses with food and took it to David. Notice, what she told David in 1 Samuel 25:25 Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is so is he. Nabal means foolish, that is a principle he exhibited the characteristic of his name. Look at the instance of Abram and Saria, God promised him that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars, but his body was dead and her womb was dead. So, what did God do changed their names from Abram-high father to Abraham-father of a multitude and from Saria-my princess to Sarah-princess of nations and they became as their names. Most known the angel told Mary what her son's name was to be, Jesus which means savior/deliverer and he lived out his name. Notice, all of their names had meaning and they became as the meaning of their names. In Romans 12:14 it says, Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. So, you are capable of blessing and cursing and you do them by your words. In James 3:10 it says, Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My bretheren, these things ought not so to be. Blessing and cursing has effects on you and others, in Genesis 24:60 it says they blessed Rebekah saying, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those that hate them. Did those words come to pass, yes. Deuteronomy 1:10 The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude. You see in 1 Samuel 2:20,21 And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The Lord give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the Lord. And they went unto their own home. 21 And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the Lord. Did those words have any kind of effect on them, yes. Someone might be thinking that was Eli, a priest, but Revelation 1:6 says that Jesus Christ has made us both kings and priests. Your words even have the effect of healing on your body. Proverbs 12:18 says, But the tongue (words) of the wise is health (medicine, remedy, healing, cure). And Proverbs 16:24 says, Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. Now, understand that's when your words are in line with God's word because it's his words that are life and health to all your flesh as it says in Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. So, your words have to be in line with God's word. When I lined my words with God's words my words were health to my flesh and I received my healing. One of the main reasons words have effects is what Jesus taught in Mark 4 and that is that words are seeds. Jesus even said that the words you plant in your heart there will be a manifestation of them. In Mark 4:22 Jesus said, For there is nothing hid(to conceal by covering) that shall not be manifested(visible). Jesus well understood that because he himself was as John 1:14 calls him the word made flesh. Jesus was a living, breathing manifestation of the word. Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Fruit is the product of seeds sown, so your words produce fruit. Words have effects on you. When you say expect to see. Why does a farmer sow a seed, why does a person plant a garden, because they expect to see, to have something in the future. By putting a seed in the ground they expect to have the thing in the future. That's the kingdom of God when I say something I sow something Mark 4:26-28. They know there's a system in place that if I put this seed in the ground and attend to it I will have the thing in the future. There's no argument about it, there's no debate about it they know that system works and it's settled. But, some people don't consider words are seeds, but the scripture says words are seed, The sower soweth the word (Mark 4:14). Expect to see what you said in the future. But, you have to hold fast to your confession of faith. Hebrews 10:23, Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised . That word profession is the same word confession which means to say the same thing. Because, a seed needs to be more than just planted it also needs to be watered. 1 Corinthians 3:6,7 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. The only reason to sow something is to see something, have something in the future. In the natural people believe so much in that system they will go out and water the ground without seeing anything in anticipation of seeing something in the future. It's just as sure if not more sure in the spiritual, because God's word is always good. 1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. God's word is incorruptible seed meaning it is always good. Make sure your heart is good ground, And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred (Mark 4:20). Sometimes people think God is all powerful, but have no confidence in his word. But, God and his word are one (John 1:1). So, when I say/sow God's word I expect to see it and so should you. |
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 1.)A lot of times the tendency is that people put all their attention and focus on what's happening in this physical realm. It's interesting that he tells us not to focus on this physical realm, after all that's where the problem is. But, notice there is another realm and he tells us to put our focus on that realm and not this one. Because, he has understanding about something. Jesus said something in Matthew 7:17,18: 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Notice, he makes a distinction between the tree and the fruit of the tree. According to the condition of the tree will be the condition of the fruit. So, the fruit is only a representation or manifestation of the root. So, what happens underground(unseen) determines what you see above ground(seen). Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. So, what you do see was made from things you can't see. The physical/ material realm is a product of the spirit realm. That's why he tells us not to put our focus on what's seen, because what you can see is only the product or manifestation of something you can't see. 2.)For something to be done physically something first has to be done spiritually. Just a small example: all of you that read this article, you logged into your computer, you choose Free Republic Website, and this article. All that took place in the inner man(spirit) and without those things taking place spiritually you would not be here physically. Notice, what Jesus said in Matthew 15:18-20: 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man. What is Jesus saying, you can only see a man do things physically because of what is happening (spiritually) in his heart. So, again you only see physically because of what's happening in the spiritual. Man is spirit, he has a body/flesh, but man is spiritual. So, you see on the physical level only because of what's done on a spiritual level. Your flesh is in this physical realm, but you(spirit) are in another realm. You are in the realm of those things not seen. That's important because in 1 Corinthians 1:26-28: 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are. Keep in mind you only see physically because of what's done spiritually. So, if it's not done on a spiritual level you can't see it physically. Because, the physical realm is only a manifestation of the spiritual. 3.)Remember, Hebrews 11:3 the physical was made by the spiritual (God is a spirit). And Hebrews 1:3 says, Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power. So, the physical is upheld by the spiritual. And we just saw God uses the spiritual to change the physical. So, the spiritual is the source of this physical realm. The material world does not function on it's own it is dependent on the spiritual world. Just look at yourself, your body(physical) can't do anything without you (spiritual). Your body will cease to function without the spirit. Without the spiritual there would be no physical. So, the spiritual can exist without the physical, but the physical can not exist without the spiritual. The spiritual realm is where everything originates from. God is a spirit, He made all materials so without him there would be no materials. So, everything has spiritual roots, because that's where it originates from. Who made that car, that cell phone, those clothes? Man. Well, man is spirit, so someone (spiritual) made that thing(physical). So, you are only seeing physically because something was done spiritually. Because, the physical realm is only a manifestation or fruit of the spiritual realm. 4.)In Matthew 6:31-33 Jesus said: 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Notice, what is food, drink, and clothes physical needs, but he said don't seek physical needs. He said seek the kingdom of God which is spiritual. And what is the kingdom of God like, Mark 4:26-28: 26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. And we know that the seed is the word of God. So, I have a way of receiving from God(from the spiritual) into this physical/material realm regardless of what's happening in this physical realm. Get this, things come from the spiritual(unseen) into the physical/ material(seen) realm. See, if you look to this physical realm to meet your need then when there's a shortage you will always be in need. 5.)Understand this, nothing originates in this material realm, nothing. If you can see it, feel it, taste it, or touch it then it's only fruit. And that fruit in this realm is connected to a root in the spirit realm. That's why he says not to put your focus on what's seen, because it's only fruit. What he's saying is stop dealing with fruit and deal with the root. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight . If you are going to walk by faith you are going to have to see on another level than this natural realm. Notice, For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen. So, that's seeing on a higher level. That word look means to regard, consider, take heed/ in other words what you give your attention to or focus on. Like Abraham in Genesis 17:4,5: As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. But, when God said that in Romans 4:19 it says his body was dead. So, God told him he was a father of many nations while his body was in a contrary condition. But, look at what it says Abraham did-And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old. 6.)Abraham didn't consider(put his focus on) what was seen, he put his focus on the unseen(a father of many nations have I made thee). God used something that was unseen(spiritual) to get rid of something that was seen(physical). If you are going to walk by faith you are going to have to make decisions contrary to your flesh and your natural thinking. 1 Kings 17:8-16 8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. 15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah. 7.)Notice, she had to make decisions totally contrary to her flesh and her natural thinking. Natural thinking would have thought this man expect me to give him my last meal, he must be crazy. But, she couldn't go by that. When God does something in the spiritual it doesn't just manifest because it's done in the spiritual. You have to act on it. And a lot of times people get excited about a word from God, but never act on it. You have to apply it to yourself. But, notice something was done unseen first. And even though it may have seemed impossible according to the natural, remember you only see physically because of what's been done spiritually. So, if it has been done spiritually then it's possible to see it physically. But, you have to do it God's way. In 2 Kings 5 there was a man named Naaman he was a captain in the Syrian army and he was a leper so the king sent him to the man of God to get healed verses 9-14: 9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. (No, because it's done in the spirit that Jordon is where you have to dip) So he turned and went away in a rage. 8.)Now, how are you going to try to tell God how you have to be healed. Now, he could have tried those other rivers, but nothing would have happened. Why? Because Jordon was the set place. Just like back in 1 Kings 17:1-6: And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. Notice, I have commanded the ravens to feed you there, that was the set place. Had he gone somewhere else he would have missed out. And I think a lot of people missed out on what God had for them because they were not at that "there place". They thought they could go anywhere and get the results. No, your results are waiting on you at your "there place." And it's not until you get to the place that has been set that you will see things happen. Because, you only see physically what has been done spiritually. 9.)What you look at is important because we speak according to what we see and you have to watch what you speak. In Romans 4:17 it says, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. People say well that's God, ya, but Ephesians 5:1 says, AMP Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. Didn't God tell Abraham to call things that be not as though they were. In Joel 3:10 didn't God tell them, " Let the weak say I am strong." People don't understand it when you call things that be not as though they were they think you are denying circumstances. No, I'm simply saying what I am seeing. The thing is we're seeing on two different levels. And because they don't see something physically they think you're strange. No, I'm operating out of my spirit and you are operating out of your flesh. Notice, what the word calls Jesus in John 1:14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 10.)The word made flesh, so if no one spoke the word he would not have shown up. He was a living, breathing manifestation of the word. And too many people are looking for things that they haven't spoken. God gives the word, but it has to be spoken. God works with and through his word. Titus 1:3 reads, But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching. Don't let the word preaching fool you, it simply means to proclaim or speak out. Why is it important that you speak, because God has already established some things and one is Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. So, your words produce fruit another word for fruit is manifestation. And God can't break his word. In Psalm 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. He's the one that established that and He can't break it. That's why He hates complaining, because as long as you talk present circumstances He has nothing to work with to help you. He has to leave you there. That's what happened to the children of Israel in Numbers 14:1-10: 14 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! 3 And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt? 4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt. 5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. 6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: 7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. 8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. 9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not. 10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. Notice, God's response in Numbers 14:27-30: 27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. 28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: 29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me. 30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. 11.)Notice, (number one) everybody ate the fruit of their lips. (Number two)everybody spoke according to how they saw things. And (number three) God left them where they were because of what they spoke. Everyone got it how they saw it because they said it according to how they saw it. So, it's important how you see things. Because, how you see it is how you will speak it. And your words produce fruit. So, you have to be watchful of how you speak. Which means you are going to have to see higher than this natural realm. Things happen spiritually first. So, things might not look like what God has said, but things are working spiritually first and they manifest physically. So, you can't go by how things look physically. That's why he said look at the things not seen(spiritual). So, even though things seem one way in this physical/seen realm things are working in the unseen realm. And if you don't give up the unseen thing will come into the seen realm. So, don't just put up with things you have access to another realm to produce different fruit. You see, the word must be applied, acted on. Until then it's just words to you. It must be applied first, first action then manifestation, but action is first. But, it first starts with how you see things. So, how do you see it, by the natural or by God's word. See it as the word says it not your eyes. Notice, Paul said this realm is temporal (changeable), but the spirit realm is eternal (everlasting). The physical real changes the spiritual realm doesn't. |
Matthew 6:9,10 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Notice, thy kingdom come; now we have heard that, but what does it mean. First of all kingdom means-rule, reign. So, the kingdom of God is the rule and reign of God. The Kingdom of God is the realm where God reigns supreme. Notice, what Jesus said about this kingdom in John 18:36 -Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Now, that kingdom is our kingdom. We have been placed in that kingdom. Colossians 1:12,13 says, 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Now, we have to learn how to operate in this kingdom. Because, this kingdom doesn't operate like the world system. That's why Romans 12:2 says, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. We now have to learn the rules and ways of operating in this kingdom. Notice, it says to be not conformed to this world(or it's ways of operating). We have to be deprogrammed because we have gotten use to operating in the ways of the world. But, we have changed systems and you can't bring the ways of the world into the kingdom of his dear son they don't operate the same. God wants his kingdom to rule in the earth. And the good thing about that is Psalm 103:19 says, The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. (Notice, his kingdom rules over all) One thing his kingdom rules over is time. God is outside of time 1 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. He is neither subject or limited to time. His kingdom doesn't function by time, it doesn't follow the natural progression of time. For instance, you break your leg, you go get a cast, and wait 6-8 weeks for it to heal. You have to wait on time for it to heal, in the world system. But, in his kingdom you don't have to wait on time to get healed. That's why when you read about Jesus healings you see-straightway/immediately/in the self same hour. You don't see things taking days, weeks, months. In his kingdom there is an acceleration of time. His kingdom rules over time, time is a creation. In Genesis 1:14,15 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. So, time is a creation and is subject to the creator. Notice, in Joshua 10:12-14 - Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel. Actually, the sun and the moon didn't stand still the earth rotates around the sun. So, what happened is the earth stopped rotating and stayed still. So, in that instance time stood still. And in Isaiah 38:4-8 You see time going backwards, it reads- 4 Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, 5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. 6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city. 7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken; 8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down. Ten degrees on a sun dial is between 20-40 minutes, so here time went backwards. In God's kingdom time is not the governing factor, in the world system it is. The world system and God's kingdom operates by different principles. The world system operates by time, God's kingdom operates in the earth by faith. And faith has the ability to override time. Another thing his kingdom rules over is sickness and disease. In Matthew 4:23 and Matthew 9:35 it reads- Matt 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And Matthew 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. So, there is nothing outside of his ability to heal. Psalm 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. In this kingdom there is no such thing as incurable. When the rule of God operates in the earth supernatural things happen. In John 6:19-21 it reads-19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. 20 But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid. 21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went. So, understand they were rowing to get to the place they were going until Jesus got into the ship and in a moment them and the ship was at the place where they were going. Remember, what Jesus said in John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Notice, Jesus didn't operate from were he was(this world) he operated from were he was from. And were he was from is not subject to the natural laws of time, space, and matter. In Acts 8:38-40 it reads 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea. (So, when he dipped the eunuch when the eunuch came up Philip was gone). In God's kingdom all things are possible with God. In his kingdom it's not your ability that matters, it's his ability that matters. A lot of times when God tells someone to do something right away they judge it by their ability or lack of. But, the ability comes with the command. When He commands or instructs you at that moment you are empowered. You see that with Jesus, in John 5 there was a man at The Pool Of Bethesda that was unable to walk for 38 years. Notice, what Jesus did when he came up to him, Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. Now, the man is lame, but Jesus commanded him to do the very thing he could not do naturally. And in verse 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. In God's kingdom his command rules over everything. When Jesus stood at Larus tomb and said, "Lazarus come forth" people think he just walked out, but according to the scriptures he couldn't walk out. You see in John 19:40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. So, they wrapped you like a mummy. And back in John 11:44 about Lazarus And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. So, the man was wrapped like a mummy, his face is wrapped, and he's bound hands and feet, how could he walk out. People have tried to naturalize God, but you can't naturalize God. When you try to naturalize God then you reason out the power. Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition. God is not a natural God. Now, when God starts blessing you and working through you don't start thinking it's you doing it. Like in Numbers 14 the children of Israel was going out to battle and Moses tried to warn them, Don't go out there God is not with you, but they were determined to go. So, Moses said, OK, but know I'm not going and the ark is staying here. In other words you are going out there in your own strength. God gave them victory after victory and they think they can do it. And the scripture says they got whipped and came back crying. Don't be fooled. In the world system it's acceptable to believe it when you see it, but not in God's kingdom. In God's kingdom you have to believe first then you see. In Luke 17:12-14 it reads- 12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. Now, in that time you went to the priest for him to pronounce you clean. But, here Jesus sent them while they were still lepers. Now, they couldn't stand there and wait until they looked better or felt better. Had they did that they would have gone without. They had to believe before they saw. In God's kingdom you believe first then see. In God's Kingdom His word rules not circumstances. In Luke 5:1-7 it reads- 1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. Notice, what Peter said, At thy word I will let down the net. Even though he knew that wasn't the right time for fishing. But notice, the word determined the right time not the circumstance. And in Matthew 14 we see Peter again when they were on the sea and Jesus came walking on the water and they thought it was a ghost. Notice, what Peter said, "If that's you bid me come to you on the water." Peter didn't have faith in his natural ability, he had faith in Jesus command. In God's kingdom it's the command that rules. Notice, what it says in 2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ. Notice, when an ambassador is sent to a country he doesn't live on the level of the country where he is sent to. He can be sent to a country that is poverty stricken, but he doesn't live according to that country. He lives on the level of the country where he comes from. In fact, he brings the life style of his country to that country, and that's how he lives. Well, we are from the kingdom of God, and that's the level of life we can live on like Jesus did. Sometimes people say, well that's Jesus, but Jesus said in John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. God didn't put us in a supernatural kingdom to just live natural lives. You can operate the principles of The Kingdom Of God in the earth. Didn't Jesus say pray in this manner, "Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Well, the kingdom comes by practicing the principals of the kingdom. When you who have been given the authority to operate the principle of the kingdom of God then it's legal for it to operate in the earth. God said, "Let man have dominion" so it's mankind that has to operate the principles for his kingdom/his rule to be done in the earth. God operates through his word. So, the principles of the kingdom will manifest the rule of God in the earth. And that's what God wants. (Learn how to operate in your kingdom). One principle of the kingdom of God that manifest the kingdom in the earth is calling things that be not as though they were. Romans 4:17 says, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. There's been some misunderstanding about that, people think that you are denying circumstances. But, it's not a matter of denying anything, it's more a matter of acknowledging something. Like 2 Corinthians 4:17,18 says, For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Notice, things not seen it does not say things that don't exist. Things that be not are things that are not manifested. And the way they manifest is by calling them. Example In Genesis 17:4,5 God said to Abraham, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. But in Romans 4:19 it says, And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. So, when God told him, For a father of many nations have I made thee, physically his body was dead. Notice, what it says in Psalm 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. But, the word settled in heaven has to be received here(remember, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven). The word settled in heaven doesn't profit you until it's received here. Notice, even though his word was settled in heaven his body was still dead here. How did God cause what was settled there to come here, on the earth. By Abraham calling things that be not as though it was. God changed his name from Abram-High father to Abraham-Father of a multitude. So, every time his name was called they were calling things that be not as though they were. The same thing with his wife, verse 15- And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. God changed her name from Sarai-My princess to Sarah-Princess of nations. By them calling things that be not as though they were they brought what was settled in heaven here in the earth. When you operate the principles of the kingdom then you bring heaven to earth. |
Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Jesus talked a lot about the heart of man like in Mark 4 in the parable of the sower where he talked about a sower going out to sow. The seed is the word of God (Mark 4:14) and those seeds bear fruit (Mark 4:20) And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. The ground is the heart of man. So, Jesus said words are seeds. And Proverbs 18:21/Pro. 12:14/Pro. 13:2 talks about the fruit of your lips. Fruit is the product of seeds sown. You don't start with fruit you start with seeds and seeds become fruit. Matt 12:33-35 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. Notice, both the tree and it's fruit comes out of the seed. So, if the tree and it's fruit comes out of the seed and the seed is in you then where does the fruit come from, out of you. The words that you speak out that produce fruit is only the result of words that have been sown into you. Remember, words are seeds. So, if you don't like the fruit you are producing then sow different word seeds that will produce the fruit you want. Because, the tree and it's fruit comes out of the seeds. Everything comes out of the seed. And the only thing that can come out is what's been put in. That's why Jesus said, "Take heed what you hear" because what you hear is going into your heart. Proverbs 4:20, 21 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. Notice, how you keep something in your heart by keeping it in your eyes and ears. That's why verse 23 says, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. You guard your heart by guarding the gates to your heart, your ears and eyes. You have to guard not just what you hear, but also what you see. Notice, 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Notice, you become what you behold. A child that sees the father beat the mother will most likely grow up and beat his wife and so on. Generational curses are a lot of times passed down seeds. Seeds that have been planted from generation to generation. Like, nobody in our family ever goes to college or so in so runs in our family. You keep sowing those seeds and they will continue to produce that fruit. Situations and circumstances can communicate things without speaking. Notice, in Mark 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. That situation communicated something to him. And how you answer is important. Matthew 6:31-33 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Notice, he said take no thought saying because understand when you say you're sowing seed. And he said, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Where is the kingdom of God-Luke 17:20,21: And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. And Jesus told us how it operates, Mark 4:26-28 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. Notice, the kingdom of God operates by sowing seed or by words. So, it's your words that produce fruit. And the best seeds or words is God's word. Look at what God says in Isaiah 55:10,11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.He said his word will not return to him void-without fruit or unable or insufficient to produce effect. And the word returns to him when you speak it. The word always has the power to produce what it says. The word has the ability to override/ overrule the natural, because the word is supernatural. For instance in the natural we need a man and a women to produce a child, but God said Isa. 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. That goes against the natural system of reproduction. But, did a virgin conceive and bear a son, yes. That's why Jesus said, seek ye first the kingdom of God because the word has the power to override any and all natural circumstances and conditions. Abraham and Sarah for instance in Genesis 17:4,5,15 it says, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be(Abraham means father of a multitude and Sarah means Princess of nations). Now, when God said that Romans 4:19 says, his body was dead and her womb was dead. Notice, they both were in conditions contrary for them to be as God said. So, what did God do He gave them new names or new seeds to sow, since words are seeds. Every man's heart is like soil. Notice, Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. So, your words produce fruit, fruit represents manifestation. Did they become as their names, yes. But, you have to believe in the word. Romans 4:20 says, He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. And Hebrews 11:11 says, Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. You have to have faith in the word you hear. 2 Chronicles 20:20 Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. But, is not the man it's the word that prospers you. And according to 2 Corinthians 4:13 when you believe you speak, We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. You make your way prosperous by the word in your mouth, well the word is seed. And Romans 10:8 says, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. So, God's method of increase is through seed. 1 Corinthians 3:6,7 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. God's ultimate goal is to get the rights words in your heart. Notice what it says in 1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. So, something had to be planted in you for you to be born again. And how was it planted, by you hearing something. That's why Romans 10:17 says, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Well, according to 1 Corinthians 3:6,7 hearing is called planting and watering. Why is God's ultimate goal to get the right words in you, because of what He spoke. In Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. The first thing He said to man was "Be Fruitful" and people have thought that means have babies and it could mean that, but it's not limited to that. You have to remember man is spirit also and not just flesh. Be Fruitful means increase, grow, bring forth. That's why the word relates the heart of man to ground, because God spoke the same thing to both, "Bring Forth." Now, we know on the natural side that if you put a rose seed in the ground and tend to it, water it at some point there will be a physical, manifested representation of what was put in the ground. In Mark 4:22 Jesus said, For there is nothing hid(inwardly), which shall not be manifested(visible). That whole chapter is about sowing seed. What he's saying is you can't hide what's been planted in your heart, because at some point there will be a physical, manifested representation of it and people will see it. You know what's been planted in the ground by what comes out of the ground. If you put something in something will come out. The same thing with the heart of a man if you put something in something will come out. That's why Jesus said in Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Every seed produces after it's kind. Notice, what the word calls Jesus in John 1:14 the word made flesh. Jesus was a living, breathing, flesh, blood, and bone manifestation of words. Words given by God, but spoken by man. In 1 John 1:1,2 it reads-That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us What life was with the Father from the beginning, the word. John 1:1-3: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. So, the life of the word of God was clothed in flesh. But, for the life of the word to be made flesh/manifested it had to be put in seed form and planted in man. All the old testament prophets that spoke of him had that word seed in them. And when that angel came to Mary that was his goal to get the word planted in her heart. That's why he kept talking to her until he knew it was planted. How did he know when it was planted, when she said, "Be it unto me according to your word." Notice, once she said that he took off, mission complete. Now, in the natural what is a seed-a seed is the substance of a thing. That seed that you can hold in your hand if you put it in the ground it will become the thing itself. The seed/substance of the thing has to go in the ground for the thing to come out. If you put the seed/substance of the thing in the earth at some point the earth will release it and you will see it. Now, on the spiritual side what is faith-Hebrews 11:1 says, it is the substance of things hoped for. So, just like a seed is the substance of something on the natural side, faith is the substance of something on the spiritual side. And that substance when planted in the ground of your heart can become the thing itself. The substance of the thing has to go in the ground of your heart for the thing to come out. That's what Jesus was talking about in Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. That's why Jesus told the woman with the issue of blood, "Your faith has made you whole." The substance of the thing she had inside when spoken became the thing outside/manifested/seen. And if you notice, the same thing with the centurion that said to Jesus, "Speak the word only and my servant shall be healed." And what did Jesus tell him, "As you have believed so be it done unto you." Again the substance of the thing he had inside when spoken became the thing outside/manifested/ seen. A only planted word didn't manifest Jesus, a word planted and spoken manifested Jesus. But, when the word is in you properly you will speak it. Because the heart and tongue work together and whatever you are filled with will come out. That's what Jesus said, Matt. 12 :34 for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Your tongue can't help but speak what your heart is full of. And that word is what will manifest just like Jesus did. God put in the creation the ability to reproduce after it's kind. We're use to seeing this in the natural, now we have to get use to working it on the spiritual side. Everything brings forth like what it comes from does. Notice, when God created the plants and animals He spoke to the creation to bring them forth. But, when He made man he came out of God the creator. And man was made to function like God Genesis 1:26-28: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Well, how does God bring forth by speaking. Now, understand something has to be in you to bring forth. If you just speaking without the substance of the thing in you there's nothing to bring forth. All you are doing is just speaking and not releasing. There's no substance in your words. That's why the disciples couldn't cast out that devil in Matthew 17. And they asked Jesus why they could not cast him out and he told them, "Because of your unbelief." In other words all you were doing is speaking and not releasing, there was no substance in your words because the substance of the thing was not in you when you spoke. So, there was nothing to bring forth. Words are containers, whatever you speak them out of is in them. You can speak words out of hate and hate is in them. For example Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Notice, the root of bitterness, a root comes by seeds sown (Example of complaining about your mate). God speaks out of faith so faith is in them. If there was no faith in them you couldn't get faith out of them. So, when his word is in you his faith is in you. And Jesus is the one who said Mark 11:22,23-And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. (Other translations says, "Have the faith of God." For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. You really have to watch what goes into your heart because what goes in is what will come out. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen |
God has his hand extended towards you right now for you to receive what He is offering. Someone might be saying you don't know what I have done, no you don't know what Jesus has done. Jesus took your penalty for God to treat you as if you never did what you did. That's why God says, "I will remember your sins no more" (Hebrews 8:12). If He doesn't remember them He can't be holding them against you. Jesus bore your sins to be punished in your place so that God could treat you like as if you were him a man that has no sin. 2 Cor 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. One meaning of righteous is innocent, Jesus was made sin for you, to be found guilty in your place so that you could be found innocent in his place, because Jesus knew/did no sin. Rom 8:1,2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. There is no condemnation to those who receive Jesus, none from God because He doesn't see you based on how you see you. He sees you as his word says, holy, righteous because it's not based on your actions. Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Before you did one sin you were a sinner(that was your nature). You were not made a sinner based on what you did, but by what someone else did. So likewise, you are not made righteous based on your actions(it's your new nature). It's not based on your action, but by the action of Jesus, the last Adam. That's why he had to be born of a virgin, because the seed came from God so he didn't have a sin nature. So, by the actions of Jesus(the last Adam) you receive his nature by being born again just like you received Adam's nature when you were born. John 3:3,7 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. All you have to do is be born again to receive that nature. And that new nature will bring new fruit, fruits of righteousness. Ephesians 2:5,7,8 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved . 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. So, it was God's idea first not mans that God wants to be good to you. So, it's not about how bad you have been, but about how good God is and wants to be towards you (yes you). Romans 2:4 it's the goodness of God that leads men to repentance. Don't let that go to waste, receive. His hand is extended to you right now and every second. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. He's knocking right now at the door of your heart, but will you open it and receive him in.It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen |
John 18:33-38: 33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? 34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? 35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? 36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. People talk about submitting to God, but one of the main ways people need to submit is in their thinking, submitting to his way of thinking. Renew your way of thinking to his way of thinking. God's way of thinking is spiritual, notice Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. In submitting to God's way of thinking you need to understand that God's way of thinking is truth John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. That's why Romans 3:3,4 says, For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar. So, if it's not in line with God's word then it's not truth, now it might be fact, but even fact is not truth. In fact, a lot of times they are opposites and people think they are the same, but they are not. And it's important that you know what's truth and what's fact. Because, Jesus said in John 8:31,32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Notice, he didn't say anything about facts making you free, he said truth will make you free. As long as you hold on to the fact then you are separated from the truth. A fact is- Fact is basically something that exists, or is present in reality. Hence, these are things that can be seen visually, and these are the things that can actually be verified. It is not just something that you believe, but rather these are more or less the things that can be observed empirically, or by the senses. So, facts can be seen and heard, as well as proven by the other senses (So, facts are physical). What is truth- Truth can be described as the true state of a certain matter. So, when the scripture says, For we walk by faith and not by sight you could just as easily say For we walk by truth and not by fact. Because, facts deals with the senses(the physical realm) and truth deals with the word which is spiritual. Truth is a reality, it's a spiritual reality. Reality-the state of having existence or substance. So, just like you have this realm of physical reality, there is also a realm of spiritual reality. 2 Kings 6:14-17 here is when the king of Syria sent his army to capture the man of God Elisha: 14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about. 15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Question, where those horses and chariots of fire just as real as those soldiers, yes. So, spiritual reality is just as real as physical reality, they both have substance just different forms of substance. We have two different forms of substance one spirit and one flesh, is the flesh more real than the spirit, no. Your spirit is eternal, everlasting your flesh isn't. Truth is not defined by experience or what you have concluded, truth is defined by what the word says truth is. And it's quite clear God says that what He says is truth so anything contrary can't be truth, it can be fact , but not truth. Truth is a higher reality than fact. And what we have now is a lot of people writing books and telling their experience and what they learned, but just because you experience something or learned something doesn't make it truth. And people accept what they experience and learn as truth. So, they let experience form their beliefs instead of the word. That's when your mind needs to be renewed to the word. And then you have people trying to live their lives based on someone else's experience and perceptions like that's truth. Perception-the act or ability of using the senses to become aware of or understand things. That keeps you living by facts, God wants you living by his truth. You see in Numbers 13 when Moses sent out 12 spies to spy out the promise land after 40 days they came back and reported to Moses--the land is there just like God said, here's some of the fruit (grapes that were so big it took two men to carry one cluster of grapes), but 10 of them said, Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. There are giants in the land and we were like grasshoppers. But, Joshua and Caleb said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. But, what did the people do, they accepted the word of the 10 and as a result the wondered in the desert 40 years. They accepted someone else's perception, and lived out the rest of their lives because of it. Except the two that said, Let us go up at once for we are well able. They made it in because they didn't let what they saw dictate what they believed. You see in Deu. 1:6-8 what God had told them, and it reads- 6 The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: 7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. 8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them. So, what was the difference? 10 were looking at the giants or (the fact) and two were looking at the word or (the truth). Now, what you look at is important 2 Cor. 4:16-18- 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.(So again we are talking about 2 realities a natural one and spiritual one) 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. What you look at or focus on is important because we speak according to what we see. Notice, what Caleb told Joshua in Joshua 14:7, Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart. He was not focusing on what he saw physically, he was only focusing on what God said. And he simply spoke according to what he saw, victory and not defeat. Notice, God wanted them to do one thing, but all that said they could not and those that agreed with them did not. And those that agreed with what God said received what He said, because God needs your agreement. Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Even back from the beginning in Genesis 2:19 it says, And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Notice, God brought the animals to Adam to see what he would call them, not name them. They had names, but God wanted the names in heaven to be the names on the earth, but Adam had to call them as God called them. If Adam had called them something else then what Adam called them would have been the names on the earth, but not in heaven. What does The Lord's Prayer say, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." So, it's possible for God's will in heaven not to be done on earth, because if it's not possible why pray it, so it has to be possible. In Matthew 16 when Jesus asked the disciples who they thought he was it reads: 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Notice, "Blessed are thou" why because God showed him something and you agreed with it. And verse 19 in the Amplified Translation says, I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” What is that? agreement, for it to be on earth as it is in heaven you/mankind has to agree with heaven. Psalm 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven, but you have to settle it on the earth for you by your agreement. Take Abraham for instance, in Genesis 13:16 God told him, And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. And in Genesis 15:1-4 it reads, After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. 2 And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. 4 And, behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. Look at how he's talking, so what did God do in Genesis 17:4,5,15 it reads: As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. Notice, what God is doing getting them to come into agreement with him Abram means high father and Abraham means father of a multitude and Saria means My princess and Sarah means Princess of nations. Notice, for them to receive from God they had to come into agreement with God. Another thing is The Holy Spirit works with and through the word even from the beginning, Genesis 1:1-3: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Notice, what it says in the first part of Isaiah 44:26- That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers. Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. Don't mistake the word preach, it simply means to proclaim, speak forth. Notice, when the word goes out The Holy Spirit confirms it. Notice, He confirms the word and not the man. 2 Chronicles 20:20 Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. It's not the man that prospers you, it's the word he has that prospers you. It's never about the man it's always about the word. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. See, it's about the word not the man. So, if there's no word going forth then The Holy Spirit is limited in what he can do. The Holy Spirit is called The Spirit Of Truth and as long as you are speaking facts/the circumstances he's limited. It's The Holy Spirit that reveals the word to you. In John 16:13 it reads, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. The Holy Spirit will never speak anything contrary to God's written word. 1 Corinthians 2:9,10,14- 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Someone come to you and tell you they have a hot revelation from The Holy Spirit and you can't confirm it/verify it in the word, revelation no good. I don't care how good it might sound it did not come from The Holy Spirit. The thing about God's word being truth, you can't catch truth with your senses. Because, God's truth is outside of the realm of the senses. So, if you look for your senses to tell you what's truth most likely you'll miss it. Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. That's the key right there truth has to be revealed to you by The Holy Spirit. But, you have to have ears that hear. That's why Jesus would say, "He that has ears to hear let him hear." Because, someone can be talking to you by The Holy Spirit, but if you don't have ears to hear or understand you hearing didn't profit you. Jesus said in The Parable Of The Sower Matthew 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. In fact Matthew 13:19 says, When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. So, it's not just about hearing, did you get understanding. In understanding truth you have to understand there is a realm where you get your information through your senses, but there is another realm outside of your senses. When God does something He does it in the realm of the spirit. Like, Abraham God told him, "A father of many nations have I made thee", now according to God that was truth. But, in this realm Romans 4:19 says, And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, that was a fact. The average person would look at his dead body, but 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, not to focus on what's seen, but the things not seen. If you don't understand that there is another realm then you'll think that the dead body is all there is. But, notice at the same time he had an issue in his body in this realm God already had an answer in the realm of the spirit. And a lot of times people that have no revelation of the spiritual spend their time waiting on God to do something that is already done in the realm of the spirit. Look at Hebrews 4:1-3-- 4 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Notice, the works are already done, but if you don't know what's been done then you'll keep waiting instead of receiving. As Paul says in Ephesians 1:18 you need the eyes of your understanding enlightened by The Holy Spirit. So, now we have to choose how we are going to live our lives by truth or by facts. |
There is a power in man that I don't think people realize, that works in connection with God's word. We know that in Genesis 1:11,12 God called for the earth to bring forth the grass, herbs, and fruit trees and the earth brought forth those things. And the earth still brings those things forth today and it always will. In Genesis 8:22 it says, while the earth remains there will always be seedtime and harvest. That means as long as the earth remains if you put a seed in the ground, water it, and give it light in time the seed you put in the ground that thing will come out in manifestation. In Genesis 1:28 when God blessed man the first thing He said is, "Be Fruitful". That word fruitful is translated-bring forth, increase, grow. Just like the earth God endowed man with the ability of increase. That's what Jesus is showing in Mark 4 in The Parable Of The Sower. When he taught that a sower went out to sow seed and some seed fell on stony ground, some fell by the way side, some fell among thorns, and other fell on good ground and brought forth fruit. Notice, in those scriptures the seed is the word of God(words). And the ground is the heart(spirit) of man. And the word is also water(Eph. 5:26) and also light(Psalm 119:130). So, understand what is happening when you confess God's word which the scriptures tells us to do (Hebrews 4:14 Hebrews 10:23). The word profession is the same word confession which means to say the same thing. When you confess God's word you are planting and watering seed. And when seed is planted and watered that thing will come into manifestation. Jesus said in Mark 4:22, For there is nothing hid which shall not be manifested. The first time you hear the word that's planting and each time after that is watering. In 1 Corinthians 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. You and the word are meant to work together, in Isaiah 55:10,11 it says 10 For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void(unable or insufficient to produce effect), but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The effect of the word is to produce a manifestation. As it says in John 1:14 And the word was made flesh translation the words that were spoken about Jesus manifested. In 1 John 1:1,2 it says, That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life. (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us). He's talking about the word, John 1:1 says, In the beginning was the word and Proverbs 4:22 says, The word is life. Jesus said in Luke 6:45, A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: For of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Notice, the man BRINGS FORTH, BRINGS FORTH, BRINGS FORTH out of his heart. What do you think he brings forth, what Jesus said in Mark 4:22 the manifestation of the words-seeds in his heart. It's interesting in Luke 6:45 Jesus calls the words in your heart treasure and Jesus said what's hid in your heart will manifest. That word hid is translated to conceal by covering and what do people often do with treasures, bury them. Why do people bury treasures because it's valuable to them, it's precious. Well if the word is valuable to you, if it's precious to you, bury it in your heart. What is a seed, it's the substance of a thing. If you put a rose seed(the substance of a thing) in the earth that thing will come out of the earth. If you put the substance of a tomato in the earth a tomato will come out of the earth. In Matthew 17:20 Jesus compares faith to a seed. In Matthew 17:20 it says, And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. See, if you have the substance of the thing in you the thing will come out of you by your words. If you have faith as a seed, well faith is the substance of things hoped for(Heb. 11:1). So, if you have the substance of mountain be removed hence to yonder place in you when you speak it that will come out of you and into manifestation. The woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5 notice, she said if I may touch but his clothes I shall be made whole and notice Jesus response, "Your faith has made you whole." The substance she had in her was the thing she brought forth with her words. In Matthew 8 the centurion said, "Just speak the word only and my servant shall be healed" and notice Jesus response, "I have not found so great fath." And Jesus said to him, "Go thy way, and as though hast believed so be it done unto you" and his servant was healed in the self same hour. The substance he had in him was the thing that came out of him by his words. In Proverbs 4:20-23 it says, My son attend to my words; incline thy ears unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all thy flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. That word health is translated-medicine, healing, remedy, and cure. Notice, God says to put and keep his word in your heart. Because, your spirit has the ability to take it from word to thing. The word being seed, water, and light, and your spirit being ground by the planting and watering of the seed the thing will come into manifestation. Back to Jesus in Mark 4:22 there is nothing hid which shall not be manifested. Notice, in Acts 14:7-10 it reads And there they preached the gospel. And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked. The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet, and he leaped and walked. Notice, the man did nothing, but hear the word and the word he heard was enough to be medicine and healing to his flesh. Now, go find some words from God and plant them in your heart and use your God given ability. Understand one of the main points Jesus made is words are seeds, Mark 4:14 The sower soweth the word. And if words are seeds that means they produce, that's what Proverbs 18:21 says, Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Fruit is the product of seed sown. Think about this a seed is the thing itself, a rose seed becomes a rose. And think about this words are things, if you look up the words word and thing they are the same word. And just like seeds become things words become things. And we know that from John 1:14, And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. 1 John 1:1,2 says,That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us . And according to John 1:1 that life was the word -In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus himself was a manifestation of the word. When the word makes contact with your heart a growth process begins, that's why God put increase in you. So, if I plant healing seed in me and keep it in me like Proverbs 4:20-23 says at some point I am suppose to see healing. So, again find some words of God and plant them in you and use your God given ability. |
When suffering with something in the body there is a tendency to attend only to the body where the problem is, but the scriptures says that what you put in your inner man is just as important if not more important. Words have a significant effect on our whole being spirit, soul, and body. Like 3John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. What do you think you prosper your soul with, words. Notice, the health of your outer man is connected to your inner man. In Proverbs 15:30 it says, The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat. The words you take into your heart(not your blood pump) can have a powerful effect on your body. You see in Acts 14:7-10 And there they preached the gospel. 8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: 9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, 10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. That confirms Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. That word health is translated- medicine, remedy, healing, and cure. Proverbs 14:30 says A sound heart is the life of the flesh. The condition of your heart, inner man, has an effect on your flesh. That's why Proverbs 18:14 says, The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble AMPC Version. What makes the spirit strong is the words you feed into it. You see in Matthew 12:34 that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. And the words you speak are important in Proverbs 12:18 says, the tongue(words) of the wise is health (healing). Proverbs 16:24 says, Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. You see again words have an effect on your soul and body. Your words in line with God's word can bring healing to your body and that I know to be true by personal experience. So, I'm not just telling you something off the top of my head, but what I saw in the word and did and received healing. What you feed into your inner man is of vital importance that's why Proverbs 4:23 says, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. That word keep some say guard your heart with all diligence, what do you think you guard your heart from, words. What you allow into your heart is of vital importance. There is even a thing called "Medical Student Syndrome" where medical students studying a disease and their bodies start experiencing the same symptoms of a disease they are studying. If those words going into a persons heart can have that kind of effect on their bodies, that's Proverbs 4:20-23 on the negative side. What you give your eyes and ears to is being fed into your heart. If those words can have that kind of effect how much more the word of God have the effect of healing on a body. |
I think in times past there has been some misunderstandings about healing, because people think that healing is only about what happens in the body, but it's about what happens in the spiritual first. It's important to understand healing according to God and not just our opinion of what healing is. Because, if God means one thing and we think something else then there will most likely be misunderstandings about healing. And in looking up the meaning of healing several had the same general idea--the removal or the taking away of sickness/disease/suffering. Now, understand this there can be an act of healing and yet not a manifestation of that healing. For example God told Abraham, I have made you a father of many nations and yet Romans 4:19 says, Abraham's body was dead and his wife's womb was dead yet God said he had made him a father of many nations. Naturally speaking a man with a dead body can't be a father of many nations so that would have to include that God had done something about his body, but notice what was done was not manifested, he had no way of verifying it by his senses. So, you can't wait until your senses can detect something to believe that God has done something. In Isaiah 53:4,5 it says, 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Now, here's the thing you can't base that by a condition in your flesh. Just like Abraham couldn't base what God said and did by his flesh which was contrary to what God said He did. Healing is a spiritual issue, healing is based on the spiritual, it is an act that takes place in the spiritual, and it manifests physically that's why you can't wait until your senses or your flesh can detect it to believe. Your body can tell you when you have received in the physical, not if God has done something in the spiritual. Sickness came from sin, well sin is an act of the spirit which makes it spiritual. So, sickness is spiritual at the roots, and it manifests physically. It's all about the spiritual. Jesus had to come here as a man because it was the act of a man that the creation fell by. So, Jesus had to come here in the state, spiritual state, not bodily state of a man not affected by sin which is all spiritual. So, healing has to take place in the spiritual first and it manifests physical. And the act of healing has already occurred in the spiritual. That's what Isaiah 53:4,5 is talking about. Notice, it says he bore our sicknesses and diseases and carried our afflictions that's the healing the removal of sickness and disease. God took them from mankind just like he did our sins and laid them on Jesus. That's why it says in 1 Peter 2:24 he bore our sins in his own body and by his stripes ye were healed(past tense not will be). The healing has taken place in the spiritual and that which was done in the spiritual can manifest physically. To try to make things clear sickness originated in the spiritual so to deal with it it has to be dealt with on a spiritual level. If there was no sin there would be no sickness. Sickness in the body is a manifestation of sin spiritual, not your sin Adams sin. It's Adam's act of sin that brought sickness it goes all the way back to Adam. It's because of what Adam did that everyone after him has to face death one day. Notice, unless Jesus comes back first all of us will die physically, because of what Adam did spiritually. So, physical death is a manifestation of a spiritual act, sin. So, what is done spiritually causes things to manifest physically. Number 16:41-50 41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the Lord. 42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared. 43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation. 44 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces. 46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun. 47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. 48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. 49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah. 50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed. Notice something manifested physically because of something that was done spiritually. Notice, in both instance the plague and the stopping of it something was done in the spiritual for something to manifest in the physical. In Matthew 15:18,19 Jesus said, But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. What is the point Jesus is making, man is spirit and he resides in a body. Your body is in this physical realm, but you(spirit) resides in the spiritual so whatever you see a man doing physically it comes from the spirit man in the spirit realm. So, every physical action is tied to a spiritual action done in the spiritual. The body only does in response to the spirit man, so something has to be done spiritually for you to see it physically. Watch these two scriptures 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. The spirit man expresses himself through his body. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Notice, things done in the body not by the body so every physical action is a corresponding action of the spirit man. So, the plague and the stopping of the plague was done in the spiritual first. When they came against Moses that was a spiritual act that started that physical plague. And what Aaron did to make atonement was a spiritual act that caused that plague to stop in the physical. That shows you that both sickness and healing starts in the spiritual and manifest physically. It's all about what's done in the spiritual not in the physical. So, sickness and healing is not just physical, but spiritual at the roots. And what's done at the roots will determine the fruit. Now, what happened in Numbers 16 and how does that relate to what Jesus did, let me give you an example The Holy Spirit showed my. In Numbers 16 atonement was made and atonement is the covering of sin. It's just like if I held a flame under my hand what would come from that flame, heat. So, as long as the flame is there the heat will be there, but if I take something and cover that flame my hand will stop getting the effect of that flame even though it is still there. That's what atonement does when the sin was covered they stopped getting the effect of it. What Jesus did is greater than that, Jesus didn't teach atonement of sin he taught remission of sin which mean to take away. Like in John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. And 1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. So, what that means is back in the example of the flame under my hand in atonement the flame is covered, but in remission the flame is taken away. In atonement if what is covered ever becomes uncovered you will get the effect of it again, but in remission what was there is gone forever. Now, to make it clearer let's say in the example the flame is sin and the heat is sickness and disease when the sin is taken away the sickness and disease had to go with it. If you take the flame away will the heat stay, no. Wherever the flame is that's where the heat will be. The same thing that was done with our sins was done with our sicknesses and diseases, Jesus bore them.**1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree. So, God took the sins of mankind and laid them on Jesus. And that's the same thing God did with our sicknesses and diseases.**Isaiah 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows. So, if you believe Jesus took your sins so likewise believe he took your sicknesses and diseases. Don't base what you believe by a sicknesses in your body. Now, understand how God sees it, it says Jesus bore ours and if he bore ours that leaves us free(in the spirit), just like Abraham was a father of many nations in the spirit yet while his body was dead physically. Notice, Romans 4:19 Being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. In other words flesh was not his evidence of something being done by God. Abraham just received what God told him by faith. And if you are going to receive from God by faith flesh is not your evidence. What does Hebrews 11:1 say, 11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Well, faith and the word are one Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. So, if it's by faith flesh is not your evidence the word is. In Luke 17:12-14 the case of the 10 lepers: 12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Notice, what Jesus told him, Your faith has made you whole so we are dealing with something that was done spiritually because faith deals with the spiritual. Notice, Jesus called them cleansed right in there condition, why? Because he was doing something on a spiritual level/in the spirit to be received physically by faith. Notice, what Jesus said in John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. What did he see the Father do call Abraham a father of many nations while his body was contrary. Just as God called him a father of many nation while his body was dead, Jesus is calling them cleansed while they are still lepers because those things were done on a spiritual level/in the spirit not in the physical. By Jesus sending them to the priest he is calling them cleansed, because you didn't go to the priest until after you had evidence of being cleansed, Jesus words was their evidence not there flesh. And as they went they were cleansed or as they went they received. But, something had to be done for them to receive. They couldn't stand there and wait until they looked or felt better had they done that they probably would have died with it. Healing takes place in the spiritual and the manifestation of it takes place in the physical, in your body. People don't understand the dispensation they are in-dispensation The method or scheme according to which God carries out his purposes towards men is called a dispensation. According to the scriptures you are not in the dispensation of waiting on God, you are in the receiving dispensation, if He said you were healed how can you be waiting on him to heal. If I'm not mistaken were means something has already taken place. I liken receiving healing with eating out at a restaurant-you go to a restaurant, you give them your order/make your request, and then wait for them to fix it and bring it to you/meet your need, then after you are served you pay for it. That's how people think you get healed, they think you pray to God to be healed/make your request and then wait for him to do it, and after He do it then I'll thank him. That's not the dispensation you are in. Notice, there is a different kind of restaurant where you pay first. When you pay first your provision is waiting on you and not you waiting on it. And your healing has already been paid for by the precious blood of Jesus. When you pay first you don't go sit down and wait to be served you help yourself. That's the dispensation we are in receiving and not waiting for the need to be met. In the first dispensation they don't start working to cure your hunger until you make your request, but in the second the cure for your hunger is made before any request is made. Sometimes people may think if the healing has been done why do I still have this condition, because they don't understand just the provision being made has no effect on you physically, it has to be received. Just like food is the cure for hunger and yet when you wake up in the morning you can have a refrigerator full of food, but that refrigerator full of food don't stop you from being hungry. That food has no effect on you until you receive it. So, just the provision being made doesn't help your hunger, it has to be received. And that's what God wants us to understand about healing our healing is there, but the healing being there in the spiritual realm doesn't stop the condition until you receive it. And when you receive it the condition will go. When you receive the food the hunger will go. Just like just the act of making Abraham a father of many nations had no effect on his body physically. It was done spiritually, but had no effect physically, because it had to be received. Same thing with the ten lepers something was done spiritually, but had no effect physically until it was received. Don't base healing by a manifestation of a condition in your body base it on the word. Your flesh is not the evidence the word is. Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Notice, God connects healing with the spiritual. That word health is translated-medicine, remedy, healing, cure. God says his word is medicine, remedy, healing, cure so his word works on a spiritual level. So, healing takes place in your body through your spirit. Treatment takes place through the body. Man's way of treatment is to put something in your body. God's way of healing is to put something in your spirit. When man tells you "There's no more they can do for you" that means it's past the point of treatment not past the point of healing. What man uses to treat you with is limited because everything they use comes from the creation. But, healing comes from the creator, Mark 10:27 says, what's impossible with man is possible with God, for with God all things are possible. What people have thought is that healing is just physical, but it's not. And when you think it's only physical then you will base healing by the manifestation of it and not the act of it. If God said you were healed what good would it do to wait for him to heal. Don't let flesh be your evidence, let the word be your evidence. |
What is the summary you are referring to please let me know. Thank You! |
Hebrews 10:23--23 Let us hold fast the profession(confession) of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised ![]() Hebrews 4:14--14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession(confession). Romans 10:10-- For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. The word confession is a combination of two greek words #3674 hom-oo the same and #3056 logos something said. So, together it means-saying the same thing. So, the scriptures are saying keep saying God's word. Notice, it says with the mouth confession is made unto salvation so it's not just a matter of saying God's word just to be saying God's word you confess unto salvation. And we have limited that word salvation to mean being born again, but it means much more than that. Salvation means--deliver, heal, preserve, make whole. So, there are benefits to saying God's word. Understand when you speak God's word you are putting spiritual principals into operation. Like, Isaiah 55:10,11--For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but waterth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Notice, God said as the rain and snow comes down from heaven and does not return so shall his word be, what does He mean. Any word that comes out of his mouth He will not take back. Psalm 89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. God can't say one thing and do another, once it passes his lips He's bound to it. And then He said his word will not return void, how does his word return to him when you speak it. And the word void means--not producing any or desired effect/not sufficient to produce it's effect. So, speaking his word is suppose to have an effect. And notice his next statement, but it shall accomplish that which I please. So, the effect of the word you speak is to accomplish/bring to pass what it says. Remember the word will not return void-without producing any or desired effect. Another spiritual principle is what Jesus taught in Mark 4 The Parable Of The Sower in verse 3 it says, Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow. So, this man is sowing seeds and verse 14 tells you what the seed is, the sower soweth the word. So, the word of God is the seed. And in the next verse it tells you were the seed is sown, And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. So, the heart of man is the soil where the seed is sown. Notice, what Jesus says in verse 22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. For years I thought this verse was referring to someone trying to keep a secret and people finding out, but I found out that's not what this verse is talking about when I looked up the words. Because, sometimes people use words differently. What words meant then they might not mean the same thing now. In The Strongs Concordance verse 22- that word hid means hidden inwardly/to conceal by covering #2927 that word manifested means visible/appear #5319 that word secret is the same word hid (to conceal by covering) #2928 that word come one meaning is grow #2064 that word abroad means appear, manifest,be seen, (outwardly)#5318 Remember everything up to this point is only about sowing seed, it's not about hiding secrets. So,what is Jesus saying: For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested/The word you put inside will be seen outside. Neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad/The word you put inside will grow and be seen outside You can't hide what's been sown because all you have to do is wait and see what comes up. And what you put inside the ground will be seen on the outside. That's what Jesus said in verses 26-28: And he said, So (in this way, referring to what precedes it) is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. What Jesus is saying is the word that you speak at some point you are suppose to see. Because, the way you plant the seed of the word is by speaking Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. In the natural if you put a rose seed in the ground and gave it water and light at some point you will see a actual rose. And you expect to see an actual rose. Well, according to the word-the word is seed(Mark 4:14), it's also water (Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word), it's also light (Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light.), and the heart of man is the soil. So, everything you have in the natural you also have in the spiritual, seed, soil, water, and light it works the same way. What do you think the scriptures mean when it talks about the fruit of your lips, fruit is the product of seed sown. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 12:14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. Notice, what Jesus said in Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. That's where the fruit comes from out of you. When you speak the word it's going into your heart and the seed, water, and light of the word is in there working. The word is working on the inside for something to be seen outside. Think about this a rose seed is a rose it's just in a different form. Take all of us in our mothers when we were in there we were not in the form we are now, but we were just as real in that form as we are in this form. Inside we were in egg form, are we in egg form now, no. What happpened when the two things came together there was a activation and what's inside starts a process that will bring it on the outside. The same thing with the soil and the seed in the natural. And in the spiritual when the word makes contact with your spirit there is an activation of that word seed. The word has the ability to change form John 1:14 says, And the word was made flesh. The word is spirit and the flesh is physical. In John 4:24 it says, God is a spirit. And yet in 1 Timothy 3:16 it says that God was manifest in the flesh. So, the seed which is spiritual can be manifested physical. If you look up the words (thing) and the word (Word) in the old and new testament they are the same word. Because, words(which are spiritual) can become things (which are physical). Remember, Romans 10:10- For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Notice, you receive something by saying something. So, salvation is a product or manifestation of your words. You can bring what is inside(word form) to the outside into (manifested form) that's Luke 6:45. You can do that with any word/seed of God. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. What is that good success the word in manifestation. In the case of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34 it reads 25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. (AMPC) says she kept saying 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. What thing did she do, she brought forth the word she had on the inside to the outside. She did what we're talking about and Jesus preached about. Notice, verse 34 thy faith hath made the whole (that's the same word for salvation). Thy faith hath made thee whole, what is faith-the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. That's the same things a seed is, a seed is the substance of the thing you plant it for and it's the evidence that it exists because if it didn't you can't have a seed of it. A seed only produces a copy never an original. So, it's not just speaking, the faith(the substance of the thing has to be in you.) Just like a seed if you don't put the substance/seed of it on the inside you will not have the thing outside. You can't have the thing outside without the substance of it inside. What did Jesus tell the centurion, "Go thy way, and as thou hast believed so be it done unto you. He did the same thing as the woman with the issue of blood. He said, just speak the word only and my servant shall be healed he had the faith/the substance of that thing in him and he spoke it out. That's Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Remember the woman with the issue of blood, what did she have inside {if I may but touch his clothes I shall be made whole}. See, your mouth tells you what's inside, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So, what she had inside is what she got outside. How did she bring it from the inside to the outside she said. When your mouth speaks what's inside then what's inside will be brought to the outside. You see the same thing with the centurion what did he have on the inside, "Just speak the word only and my servant shall be healed." And what did he get outside the same thing he had inside. How did he bring it forth, he said. Your mouth tells you what's inside. And when you speak what's inside it will be brought to the outside. Remember when the disciples came to Jesus and asked how come they couldn't cast out that devil, and Jesus told them because of your unbelief. What was he saying when you spoke you didn't have it inside so you couldn't have it outside. Then he said, for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. What was he saying, if you had it on the inside when you spoke you would have had it on the outside in manifestation. Because, the scripture says, he gave them authority over all devil. Another principle you can do that with is your healing. Your healing can come from the inside-out: 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Notice, it's the same principle Jesus taught in Mark 4 the word is the seed, the soil is your heart and the word is also the water and the light. So, what the scripture is saying is plant and water the seed. So, theres healing in the word. That word life is taken from a word that means-to revive, make alive, nourish up, quicken, recover, and repair, restore life to. And that word health is translated--medicine, healing, remedy, and cure. So, life and health are in the seed of the word. Example: God told Abram(before the name change) in Genesis 17:4,5,15 -- 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. But in Romans 4:19 it says, And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. So, his body was dead and hear womb was dead so what did God do, He changed their names from Abram-high father to Abraham-father of a great multitude and from Saria-my princess to Sarah-princess of the multitude. He changed their names to in agreement with his word. He had them speak(confess) in agreement with his word. Their names were a seed, a seed of life. And that seed produced the life they needed because they did have a child. Where did the life come from the seed/word. And you see in Acts 14:7-10--7 And there they preached the gospel. Notice, what happened seed was planted and watered. 1 Corinthians 3:6,7 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. So, seed was planted and watered and that seed produced healing. Nobody prayed for him, no one called on the name of Jesus, just him and the word. In John 5 they had the pool of Bethesda where when the angel came down at a certain season and stirred up the water the first one that stepped in was healed of whatever they had. In Mark 5 they had the hem of Jesus garment when the woman with the issue of blood touched it she got healed. We have something better, we don't have to wait by a pool, we don't have to find the hem of Jesus garment we have the word. I don't need Jesus to come back to get healed, Romans 10:6-8 says: 6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above 7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. Those things worked from the outside in, but the word works from the inside- out. I can put the word in me and take it whereever I go. It's the word you put inside that you will see manifested in your life. In 1 Corinthians 3:9 it says, you are God's husbandry--that word means farm(soil) make sure you sow God's seeds. Get the word in your heart because the word you get in your heart if you stick with it you will have on the outside/manifested.It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). |
Notice, this spiritual act caused things to manifest in the physical. What he did (spiritually) had an effect on everything (physically). Which shows you that everything in this physical realm has a connection with the spiritual. In other words everything physical has spiritual roots. So, things can be dealt with on a spiritual level and not just a natural level. For example the Shunamite woman in 2 Kings 4 when her son died and it reads: And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers. 19 And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. 20 And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. 21 And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. 22 And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. 23 And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well. 24 Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. 25 So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: 26 Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well. And the man of God went with her and raised him up. Notice, she was not acting just on a natural level, she was seeing something past her natural circumstances. Notice, she was not going by what she saw outside, but what she saw inside. Isn't that what the scripture says, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. Which means there is something more than what you can see physically. And when you learn how to operate on that level your natural circumstance will change. Notice, Abraham in Genesis 17:4,5 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. And yet Romans 4:19 says, 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. So, when God told him that He had made him a father of many nations his body was dead and his wife's womb was dead. So, when God told him that their bodies were in a condition physically where they could not produce a child. But, notice what the scripture says, he did not consider his flesh nor his wife's he only considered what God said He did. When you only look at your circumstances on a natural level you miss out on what God has provided for you. 2 Corinthians 2:9,10 says, 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. God can reveal to you what He has prepared for you. Notice, what God reveals to you is not something He is going to do, it says which God hath prepared. Even though they have been prepared they have to be received. God wants man back to where he fell from which is operating from his spirit and not his flesh. Notice, in Genesis 2:25-3:11 it reads, 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? In Genesis 2:25 they were naked and not ashamed in Genesis 3:7 it says, And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, what happened. The eyes of them both were opened, that word eyes is translated fountain and fountain is defined as the source or beginning of anything. So, what happened is the source of their knowledge changed from God to their flesh(senses). That's why God asked him, "Who told thee that thou wast naked?" he knew they did not get that from him. There is another realm of existence just beyond the senses where God has things already prepared for you to tap into. And a lot of times people are praying for God to do things that are already done for them in that realm just beyond their senses. You occupy two realms at the same time. A flesh, material realm and a spiritual realm. Where did the material world come from, out of the spiritual. So, the spiritual realm has authority over the material realm. Now, in every situation man has to choose which realm he's going to go with. The realm of the material(physical) where things are fact or the realm of the spiritual where things are truth(John 17:17). The facts are what you pick up with your senses. Fact is basically something that exists, or is present in reality. Hence, these are things that can be seen visually, and these are the things that can actually be verified. It is not just something that you believe, but rather these are more or less the things that can be observed empirically, or by the senses. So, facts can be seen and heard, as well as proven by the other senses. So, facts deals with what can be detected by the senses. But, there's another realm outside of the senses where God has provisions laid up for you, they are not things that God is going to do, they are things that God has done. This is the realm of truth--Truth can be described as the true state of a certain matter. Now, truth is not always detectable to the senses. Truth has to be caught with the spirit. Jesus said, God's word is truth. Understand God is outside of this physical realm and when He does something it's done in the spirit and has to be received into this material, physical realm. Spirit is the original form of existence. Before there was anything physical there was spiritual. And man is spirit and lives in a physical body in a physical world. But, man still has the capacity to function in the spiritual, by faith. By faith you access a higher realm were God has already laid up provisions for you. How do I know that, because that's what the scripture says. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, if it's not a thing, if it doesn't exist how can you have the substance of it. That's why the other half of Hebrews 11:1 says, faith is the evidence of things not seen. You can only have evidence of something that has already occurred. And what has occurred in the spirit can be manifested here by faith. What God has provided for you is an act of his grace. And Romans 5:2 says, you access the grace by faith. Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 4:16 CEB That’s why the inheritance comes through faith, so that it will be on the basis of God’s grace. In that way, the promise is secure for all of Abraham’s descendants, not just for those who are related by Law but also for those who are related by the faith of Abraham, who is the father of all of us. So, God has laid up an inheritance for all of Abraham's seed (Galatians 3:29 says, If ye be Christ's then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise). That inheritance comes through faith(whose faith, ours), so that let's me know God is not picking and choosing who gets it and who doesn't. It's not based on God choosing, it's about us accessing or receiving. And too many of Abraham's seed are waiting instead of accessing. Remember there are things seen that you operate in by sight and there are things unseen that you access by faith. |
2 Corinthians 4:16-18: 16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. So, there are things seen(which are physical) and things not seen(which are spiritual). That can't be referring to anything physical because Luke 21:33 says, Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my word shall not pass away. So, that can't be talking about anything physical, because nothing physical is eternal. And people tend to look at the physical material world as real and the spirit world is just something that's out there, but that is far from the truth. Spiritual things and the spiritual realm has an effect on this realm. First of all Hebrews 11:3 says, 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. So, the physical realm came out of the spiritual realm, God by his word. Not only that, but the spiritual realm God by his word is upholding the physical realm Heb 1:3 says, 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power. You see in Jer. 5:22 and Proverbs 8:29 22 Fear ye not me? saith the Lord: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it? Proverbs 8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth. Notice, what it's saying, God made a decree from the foundation of the world to the sea not to cross over the sand of the shore and it can not pass over. No matter how much they toss and roar they can't cross that line. Something God decreed in the spiritual realm from the foundation of the world still has an effect in this physical realm to this day. God is not limited to natural circumstances or conditions. In 1Kings 17 when there was a famine in the land God sent the man of God, Elijah, to a widow women to take care of him. In verses 8 and 9 it reads 8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. Now, back then widows were considered to be some of the poorest people. So, he gets up and goes and it reads- 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. Notice, in the natural she was in no condition to sustain him. She was a widow(poor), she had a son, and she was down to her last meal and that's who God sent him to to take care of him. But, notice what God told Elijah, I have commanded her to sustain you which means she has to have something somewhere. And she didn't even know what God had said to him that she was to sustain him, Elijah had to tell her. But, even though she didn't have it physically at the time she had it spiritually. And because she did as the man of God said she opened the door for what she had spiritually to be received physically and sustain him as God said. That's what 2 Chronicles 20:20 says, 20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. You see in 2 Kings 4:38-44 with Elisha, 38 And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. 39 And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not. 40 So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof. 41 But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot. 42 And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat. 43 And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men?(he knows what's in his hands is not enough to feed everybody) He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the Lord, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof. 44 So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the Lord. Notice, it did not matter what he had in his hands, what mattered is what God said. And a lot of times people get focused on what they have or don't have, but what did God say. If you are just focusing on what you have or don't have then your focus is on the wrong thing. Like us today people are speaking of famine coming, but God said, In the time of famine we would be satisfied. So, even if it's not here physically we have to have something we can tap into spiritually. So, if it's not here physically it can be brought here. Don't bring God down to the level of your natural understanding, you can't figure God out, He's too big. What you should do is simply trust and believe. God has taken all the guess work out of the equation. What did Jesus mother say, Whatever he tells you to do just do it. See, don't try to figure it out or wonder how in the world can he do that, no, just do it. You can't tap into the spiritual with natural reason. Natural reason can't tap into it 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Just because something is in spiritual form doesn't mean it's less real than something in physical form. John 4:24 says, God is a Spirit and yet 1 Timothy 3:16 says, God was manifest in the flesh so is He any less real as spirit, no. Things might not look like what God said that's were trust comes in, You see in 2 Kings 6 When the Prophet Elisha was telling the king of Israel the plans the king of Syria was making so that they could escape his ambushes. After a few times of that happening the king thought it was his own people, so he asked, which one you are a trader and one of his men told him, It's not us it's that prophet in Dothan he's telling the King of Israel the plans you're making, so the king said, Go get him. That's where I'm going to start reading: 2 Kings 6:14-17- 14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about. Notice, there was two different realms of existence at the same time, in the same place, and both of them were real. Doesn't Psalm 34:7 say, The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Things that take place in the spiritual causes things to happen in the physical realm and the best example of that is Adam. In Genesis 2:16,17 it reads, 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. He didn't die physically, but he did die spiritually. Spiritual death is separation from God like physical death is separation from your body. Now, notice he did eat from that tree, you might see that as a physical act, but the scriptures says that it was a spiritual act in 1 Corinthians 6:18 it reads, 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. Notice, every sin a man doeth is without the body, in other words it's the inner man using his body to do it, that's why it says he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. Now, just as your physical body resides in this physical realm you spirit resides in the spirit realm, you are a spirit. And what this man did in the spiritual caused the whole creation to fall in the physical. |
Hebrews 4:12 says, For the word of God is quick(alive), and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. When God releases the word He releases the power. And the natural/physical realm can't resist the power of the word, you see that in Genesis chapter 1. Everything God said He saw because when He said He released the power. And when you understand that the word of God can do whatever it says and it will do whatever it says for you when you release your faith in it. Take Mary for instance, when the angel came to her and told her that she was going to have a child that had already been spoken by Isaiah hundreds of years before in Isaiah 7:14 when he said that a virgin shall conceive and have a son. And Mary spoke out her faith when she said, "Be it unto me according to thy word." And we know that because in Luke 1:45 Elisabeth said, "Blessed is she that believed : for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Didn't Jesus say in Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. And notice in John 1:14 it calls Jesus the word made flesh. In other words the word that is spiritual is capable of becoming physical, that's when you receive it physically/that's when it manifests. 1 John 1:1,2 That which was from the beginning(in the beginning was the word), which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us . Notice, what the scripture says about faith in Hebrew 11:1, that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Where does the faith come from, the word of God (it's in the word that comes out of God's mouth). That's what Romans 10:8 says, But what saith it? THE WORD IS NIGH THEE, EVEN IN THY MOUTH, AND IN THY HEART: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. So when you are hearing the word you are hearing faith. That's how his faith is transferred into you by hearing, that's how faith comes. Rom. 10:17 says, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So, when the word enters your heart/spirit faith enters your heart and when you speak now what's in your heart(the faith) is released out. And when that happens Jesus said in Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. So when your mouth speaks out of the abundance of your heart you will see outside what you have inside. Didn't Jesus say in Mark 4 that the word is seed and the spirit of man is like soil. So, the word that goes inside is the word that you should see on the outside. Every seed contains something. The Holy Spirit said it's just like when a woman conceives God has made it that the body is designed that once conception takes place growth takes place and the life that's on the inside will be seen on the outside. In fact the inside is working to get what's inside outside to the point where you can't stop it, that baby is coming out. So likewise, there is spiritual conception once the word is conceived in your spirit, when the word and your spirit comes together a growth process begins and the life in the word on the inside of you starts making it's way to the outside. The word is alive, the word has life and we know from Genesis that everything that has life has the ability to produce after it's kind. Notice, in Isaiah 55:11 God said that his word would not return to him void(empty, without fruit) but it shall accomplish that which He pleases. How does his word return to him when you speak it. So, the word when it comes out of your mouth will accomplish. That's because God gave man dominion so those with the authority has to be the one speaking it. Notice, in Genesis 17:4,5 God told Abram that He had made him a father of many nations, but when God said that Romans 4:19 says that his body was dead and his wifes womb was dead. So, what did God do? He changed their names from Abram-high father to Abraham-father of a great multitude and from Saria-my princess to Sarah-Princess of nations. He got them to speak in line with his word and that word accomplished, How did that happen by their speech and their faith. Romans 4:20 says that Abraham was strong in faith and Hebrews 11:11 says, that by faith Sarah received strength to conceive. Notice, the change came when they put the word in their mouths. The word even says that the word of God in your mouth is medicine to your flesh as in Proverbs 12:18, But the tongue(words) of the wise is health(medicine, remedy, healing, and cure). That word health you also see in Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. When you speak the word and that word gets in you it will change your body. Like Abraham and Sarah they went from having bodies that were dead and could not have a child to having bodies alive that brought forth a child even in old age for she was past child bearing age. Notice, in Romans 3:3,4, Let God be true, but every man a liar. God speaks truth, but man speaks facts. What's the difference? Fact is basically something that exists, or is present in reality. Hence, these are things that can be seen visually, and these are the things that can actually be verified. It is not just something that you believe, but rather these are more or less the things that can be observed empirically, or by the senses. So, facts can be seen and heard, as well as proven by the other senses. But truth can be described as the true state of a certain matter. Like in 2 Kings 6:13-17 when the king of Syria sent his army to capture the man of God Elisha. And by night they surrounded the city and when the man of God servant saw them he paniced saying, "Alas, my master! how shall we do" and the man of God answered, "Fear not: For they that be with us are more than they that be with them." Notice, looking at it physically there were only 2 of them standing there against hundreds if not thousands. But, then the man of God prayed, "Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see." And the Lord opened his eyes and he saw the mountain covered with chariots and horses of fire around Elisha. What did the young man see first, the fact(what he saw with his senses). But, after the man of God prayed what did he see, the truth(the actual state of the matter). Notice, doesn't Psalm 34:7 say, The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. The young mans focus was on the fact of the matter, but the man of God focus was on the truth of the matter. And Jesus said that the truth will make you free (John 8:32). But, free from what? Contrary facts. Which means that truth wins over facts. Notice, 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen(that's the facts), but at the things which are not seen(that's the truth): for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. A lot of times people only identify with the flesh side, but you are spirit. We need to identify with the spiritual side. The word takes you out of your flesh and into the spirit because you have to believe something your flesh has no way of verifying. Walking by faith is walking by the word. And if you are going to walk by the word you are going to have to be speaking. What did God tell Joshua in Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Notice, for him to prosper and have good success the word had to be in his mouth, because the word he got on the inside would make him prosperous on the outside. That's a lesson for us today. God works through his word Titus 1:3 says God manifests his word through preaching. Don't let that word preaching fool you, to preach simply means to proclaim, speak out, announce. God backs his word. In Joshua 23:14 when Joshua was dying it says, And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. Not one thing failed. Well, God said I am the Lord I change not. And John 1:1 says, God and his word are one. If his word was good then it's good now. If it didn't fail then it will not fail now. He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen |
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all ![]() Psalms 103:19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Jesus is Lord, what does that mean to you. Well, Lord means supreme in authority, controller. So, there is no higher authority than the authority of Jesus. Look at what else it says about Jesus in Colossians 1:15-18 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. That word preeminance means to be 1st in rank. So, to be 1st in rank means that his authority rules over all other authorities. Those definitions are very important to keep in mind because the one with the highest authority has the final say. In Ephesians 1:19-23 it says 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. So, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father far above all things which means there is nothing in this world nor the world to come that will ever be anywhere close to the authority of Jesus. Now, I brought all of that to your attention to show you this, that you share in that authority in him not you on your own. Because, in Ephesians 2:6 it says, 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Now, why do you think God did that. Authority gives you the final say and all things under your authority are to obey. Which was God's intention from the beginning when He created man. You see in Genesis 1:26-28: 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. The centurion in Matthew 8:8,9 knew that that's why it says, 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. He knew Jesus had the final say and that sickness had to obey. Did you notice that you operate in this authority with your words. God gave you this authority for you to speak. When you come into the circumstances of life you need to speak. Look at what Jesus said in Matthew 16:19 AMP I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.” You operate in the authority of the kingdom of heaven with your words. The kingdom of heaven has to work through man to have legal access into the earth. God needs your tongue. What did Jesus say in John 14:13,14, And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. In his name includes in his authority like in Act 3:6-8: 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And it's not just the name, but faith in the name of Jesus as it says in Acts 3:16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. All the authority of heaven works in the earth realm by mans words because God gave man the authority in the earth. Look at Psalm 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. So, the authority of heaven has to work through man for it to work legally in the earth. And God gives us a powerful invitation in Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. God gave us the invitation to speak in the name of the Lord Jesus. Notice, in the name(authority) of the Lord Jesus. In the name of the Lord Jesus is to speak with the supreme authority, there is no other authority no where close to it. Notice, who Jesus is in Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. As he is the head so are we in him and as he is so are we in this world 1 John 4:17. This is a subject very important to the body of Christ. The authority of the body of Christ in the earth. As a born again Christian you have a right to use the power and authority of Jesus to do his works while He is seated at the right hand of the Father. God raised us up through Jesus. When Jesus walked the earth He took authority over things as a man anointed by God. And as such as the Roman Centurion said "All you have to do is speak" for things to obey him (Matthew 8:8,9). And He passed his authority to his disciples Matthew 10:1,7,8-- And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. And with that authority they went out and did the works of Jesus. Jesus passed on his authority by his words. And as He authorized them He authorized us. The only question is do you believe. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. The church has that authority whether you use it or not is up to you. Jesus said in Matthew 28:18,19 All power(authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, he told them to go in that authority. Understand in Ephesians 1:22 it says God has put all things under the feet(authority) of Jesus and since they are under his feet they are under our feet(authority). He is the head and we are the body of Christ. So what the head wants to do He has to do it through his body the church. So whatever you ask(command) in his name you should expect to be done just as if Jesus was speaking. When you speak in Jesus name you are speaking from your level of authority in Christ not within yourself. Now, when God first made man He gave man dominion over all the earth. That's why Jesus had to come as a man. A man got us in this mess (the curse) so a man had to get us out. Because God gave man dominion He authorized man to operate in the earth. That's why have you noticed when Jesus was raised from the dead he didn't heal one person, he didn't cast out one demon, he didn't do one miracles and that's because he had his glorified body and God only authorized those with a physical body to have dominion. So whatever Jesus wants to do He has to do through you, his body. Jesus backs you, that's why He said Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18). Notice that it starts with you so if there's something going on in your body speak to it, if there's something going on in your family speak to it, if it's something going on in your home speak to it in the Name of Jesus. |
The tittle may sound a little strange, but that's how I want you to view faith. Not just something cute that you keep in your heart, but a force. A force is defined as- Capacity to do work or cause physical change; strength; power. I like that, cause physical change. Let me tell you where I got the tittle, I was watching television one day and I happened to come upon a compass. So, I picked it up and started to move around the room with it and as I moved that compass moved. And the Holy Spirit quickened my mind, there is a force in the earth called a magnetic field. That force is unseen, but it causes something to happen in the seen and that's how faith is. An unseen force causes that compass to move. That gave me greater understanding of what Jesus said, "Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Let's break this scripture down, "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed", now some people say the size of a mustard seed, I don't have a problem with that, but let's look at something else about a seed, if it's not released out of the ground it will not produce anything in the earth. Notice Jesus said, "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say" that's how you release it. Jesus said it this way, "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh". It's the faith that's released that moves mountains and causes physical change. Now let's go a little deeper, your faith should be based on the word of God. Paul calls it the word of faith. That means you could say, If ye have the word of God as a mustard seed... . The word of God is designed to change things. The word of God is the original force of all forces. What you see was made of things you can't see, the word. Notice things that are unseen caused things that are seen to change. And we are made in God's image and likeness. We are a spirit just as God is a spirit. So, if we learn how to operate from our spirit we can cause things to change in the natural. That's what Jesus demonstrated over and over again. He spoke to the wind and sea and his words of faith calmed the storm. He spoke to a tree and it dried up from the roots and then he said to his disciples that if they had faith they could do the same thing, change things in the physical by operating out of their spirit and so can we. That's why one of the worst things a child of God can do is to wait for things to change and get better. No, take the word of God and make things get better. God said, his word would not return to him void, but accomplish that which He pleases. God has honored us to be able to release that force on our behalf. So, once again that force is released in the earth now by us. Hebrews 11:3 Matthew 12:34 Romans 10:8 Genesis 1:26 Isaiah 55:11 Matthew 21:21 |
The battle is not yours it's the Lord's. But, He has to fight your battle through you. He has given you a weapon and it's up to you to use it. The weapon He has given you to use is his word (Ephesians 6:17). And it's powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword (Hebrews 4:12). In life you have a choice either you can fight the battles in life in your own strength or in the power of God. Notice in Deuteronomy 7:1,2 it says, "When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater than thou: And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them...." Notice it says that the Lord was going to cast out the nations before them and deliver them before them, how was he going to do it. By Joshua following his instructions "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth" and as a result of him doing that it says that Joshua would make his way prosperous (Joshua 1: . Joshua and the children of Isreal defeated seven nations greater and mightier than them with the sword of God's word.In 1Samuel 17 a boy named David went up agianst a great man of war named Goliath while the armies of Isreal hid. But, David knew how to get the victory and it was going to have to be by his mouth. Saul even tried to put his sword on him and David turned it down. This battle was more than a battle with weapons, it was a battle of words. Notice that Goliath shouted some things at David and David responded with his own words. David won the battle with his words before he picked up a stone. Notice in verse 47 David said, "And all the assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands." The battle was the Lord's and He fought it with the words David spoke out of his mouth. In verse 50 it says David slew Goliath with no sword in his hand, that's because the sword was in his mouth and the sword in your mouth will always defeat a sword in the hand. So in every battle of life be sure you use your sword. |
God is not a man that He should lie and there are benefits to agreeing with what He says. There is power in agreenemt. When you voice your agreement with God certain things take place. 1. You kill the root- The curse and all the works of the devil are rooted in the spiritual so to get rid of it or change it you have to attack it at the root. If you kill the root then the fruit has to die. And the word of God is a sword (Ephesians 6:17). So when you voice your agreement with the word you are cutting the roots of that evil in your life and at some point it will have to go. 2. You sow seeds- The word of God is seed (Luke 8:11). And your spirit is soil (Mark 4:26-28). And the word also performs as water or rain (Isaiah 55:10). So when you voice your agreement you plant and water seed and you will get a harvest. 1Peter 3:10 "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile." Notice if you want to see good don't speak(sow) evil. Because when you say you sow "The word is night thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach" (Romans 10: .3. Faith comes- "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). 4. Gives substance to your hope- "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Faith gives substance to your hope like an apple seed gives substance to an apple. That's why Jesus said several times "If you have faith as a seed... . 5. Your words accomplish- God said, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11). So when your words are in line with his words then they accomplish. 6. You receive his will- When the angel told Mary she was going to have a baby she continued to ask questions. And it was only when she agreed with him that the angel left (Luke 1). 7. It establishes the word in your life- "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established" (2Corinthians 13:1). So you establish the word in your life when you voice your agreement with God. Those are just some of the reasons for agreeing with God. So, be patient for by faith and patience you inherit the promises of God (Hebrews 6:12). |
A lot of people see healing as something God has to do, but healing is something that you receive. The scripture says "By whose stripes you were healed" (1Peter 2:24). That is not a promise, a promise would put healing in the future. God is informing you of something that has been done that's why He states healing as something done. In the Old Testament to atone for the peoples sins they would offer to God a blood sacrifice for atonement and the sickness would be removed. Well, Jesus was our sacrifice that's why Isaiah 53:4,5 says "And with his stripes we are healed." Healing is something already done. Now here's where people miss it, they rely more on what there body tells them than the word of God. In Psalms 107:20 it says "He sent his word and healed them." How did God heal them by his word. Now let's look at Jesus and see how he healed, in Luke 17:12-14 ten lepords came to Jesus for healing and Jesus told them "Go show yourselves unto the priest." Now understand the only reason people showed themselves to the priest in those days was so the priest would pronounce them clean for them to be able to go in public. Now, here we see Jesus sending them to the priest while they were still lepords, what was Jesus doing He was calling them clean. They didn't look any different, they didn't feel any different, but they put their faith in Jesus words and not their body. And as they went they were cleansed. Notice once Jesus pronounced them cleanJesus saw it as done and it was up to them to believe and receive. God sees you as healed right now and when you believeyou're healed inspite of what your body is telling you then you are ready to receive your healing. Now how can you receive healing look at Proverbs 4:20-23 My son attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. What does that mean, Jesus said somethng in the parable of the sower in Mark 4, in that parable Jesus compares your heart(spirit) to soil and God's word to seed. That's why the scripture says to keep your heart with all diligence because the seeds you sow is what you will reap. But, that seed has to be sown in good ground and the good ground is when a person hears the word and receives it (Mark 4:20). The Apostle Paul said something in 1Corinthians 3:6 he said I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. The first time you hear the word seed is planted after the seed is planted each time you hear the seed is being watered. Through constant meditation and confession of God's word you water the seed sown. Notice in Proverbs 4 he said incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. That is constant meditation and confession. And by constant meditation and confession his words are health(medicine) to all your flesh. God says in Isaiah 55:10,11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto my void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereunto I sent it. See, constantly speaking God's word maketh the earth(heart) bring forth. The sowing of the seed "By his stripes I am healed" and the watering of it will bring forth a harvest of healing. I have a personal experience with this because I have applied these scriptures to myself and I have received healing on several occasions and it's my hope that others will also. By constant meditation and confession of God's word I received healing and I am still healed. When I learned these truths I applied them for myself and in a matter of months I was totally healed. When the troubles of life come don't put your focus on the problem put it on the word. The scripture says "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2Corinthians 4:18). Your problems are temporal(subject to change), but the word of God is eternal(everlasting). when you put your focus on the problem you loose sight of the power of God. Like Peter when Jesus told him to come to him out on the water, he got out of the boat and walked on the water until he saw the waves boisterous. Notice when he changed focus from Jesus to the waves he began to sink. How about Elijah when he called fire down from heaven King Ahab told Queen Jezebel what had happened and she sent a messenger with a message that she was going to kill Elijah and he ran and hid and begged God to take his life just at Queen Jezebel's word. The man just called fire down from heaven and yet he got focused on Queen Jezebel's message and lost all sight of God's power (1Kings 19:1-4). The scripture says "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen." God has done some things that may not appear to be done, but that's the time to walk by faith and not by sight (1Corinthians 5:7). Like Elisha and his servant when the King of Syria sent his army to capture Elisha, they surrounded the city by night. When Elisha's servant arose that morning and saw the great multitude of soldiers he paniced, but when Elisha came out he said "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them." Then Elisha prayed that his servant's eyes be opened and he saw the angels of God. Two men in the same situation one focused on the problem and the other focused of God's word. How about Abraham both him and his wife were old and Sarah was barren, but God said that they would have a son what did Abraham do. He considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb (Romans 4:19). He was fully persuaded that, what God promised, he was able to perform (Romans 4:21). Notice what Abraham did, he didn't focus on the problem he focused on what God had promised. And that's exactly what you should do in the times of trouble. |
The whole creation is waiting on the manifestation of the sons of God. The whole creation is waiting for the people of God to walk in their authority. God has put all the works of his hands under man's authority (Psalms 8:4-6). In the beginning God gave man dominion over all the earth (Genesis 1:26). But through sin Adam gave satan entrance. And satan became the God of this world. When Adam followed God the will and works of God was done in the earth. After he listened to satan the will and works of satan was loosed in the earth. The very nature of satan was loosed in the earth. But just as a man got us in this mess a man had to get us out. And that's why Jesus came to undo the works of satan. Jesus came and walked perfectly, he had no sin. He walked under God's control and not satan's. God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with the anointing and authority he destroyed the works of the devil. And now we have access to the same Holy Spirit and through the name of Jesus the same authority. When Jesus walked the earth all things obeyed him. All things like trees, storms, sickness, and demons they all obeyed Jesus. Jesus was loosing the nature of God back into the earth. Now the whole creation is waiting on the people of God to step up into their authority (Romans 8:19). Through the name of Jesus all the works of the devil are under the people of God's feet (Luke 10:17,19). So walk in your authority the whole creation is waiting. Romans 8:19-22 Ephesians 1:20-23 |
I enjoyed this post it had a lot of good points. |
God has more than one way of bringing healing into your body and here are a few ways in which I have received healing. 1. God's Word is medicine - Your tongue brings healing to your body (Pro. 3:8;Pro. 12:18;Pro. 16:24). When you put God's healing scriptures in your mouth God says your tongue causes healing in your body (Pro.4:23). One reason is because God has said in Isaiah 55:11 my word shall not return unto me void but it shall accomplish that which he pleases and healing pleases God. How do you return God's word to him? By speaking it. And when you return his word to him it will accomplish. God also said in Isaiah 57:19 I create the fruit of the lips. How is God going to create healing in your body? By you putting God's word in your mouth. Hebrews 11:3 says Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God. He created by his words then and He creates by his word now. His word is the source of all creation and it creates healing in your body. If there was no power in his word to bring healing then it would not be medicine. One thing about medicine it has to be taken on a regular basis and not just one time. Have you ever had a prescription that was just one pill, no. Because it had to be taken regularly and so it is with God's medicine. God's medicine- By Jesus stripes I am healed of, (Isaiah 53:4,5). God has delivered me from, (Colossians 1:13). Christ has redeemed me from, (Galatians 3:13). I know about God's word being medicine because I have experienced it for myself. I had something going on with my body and I put his word in my mouth and in a matter of months my body was completely healed of all trace of the sickness. 2. The prayer of faith - The prayer of faith is not a prayer where you ask God to heal someone. Because that does not agree with the word. God says you were healed by the stripes of Jesus (1Peter 2:24). The prayer of faith is a prayer where you pray that the person receives the healing the stripes of Jesus accomplished for him. You see God has already done his part now it's up to the person to receive what God has done. (I never ask God to heal me. I pray that I receive the healing the stripes of Jesus accomplished for me and I do). James 5:14,15 I hope this will help others receive their healing as much as it has helped me. |
for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. And what's happening is people are praying to God to do things that are already done, when it's up to them to bring it forth, be fruitful.
[6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. At that time, Levi was not yet born, but Abraham was his ancestor.
and you have to release your faith in it to manifest it in the physical (Abraham and Sarah). It was done on God's end and He needed them to receive it, by faith, on their end for it to manifest.
