THE SUPREME CLERGY COUNCIL OF BIAFRA (SCCOB) STORMS "BIAFRA ALTER OF COVENANT "

As Biafrans from all works of life are entering the feast of passover this weekend, the members of the Supreme Clergy Council of Biafra (SCCOB) visited an alter of covenant raised by late Biafra leader Ikemba Odimegwu Ojukwu. The clergymen and women from different Christain congregation met at place where the alter is situated along Enugu-Umuahia expressway for prayers and suplications. While making their request to ChiukwuOkikeAbiama, the clergymen and women reminded Him of the sufferings and subjugation of the Biafran nation in the hands of the Nigeria oppressive state. The clergymen and women also reminded God of the vow made to Him that "a restored Biafran state will not worship idol but Him alone".

It will be recall that SCCOB as an umbrella of Christain clergymen and women in Biafra have been on steadfastness towards their spiritual obligations towards Biafra restoration. The national leader of the body Mr Maddis Ugwumba who responded to our questions stated that "Biafra restoration project is inevitable. Most times, we read easily to exodus account of the scripture without understanding the sacrifices and commitments made by the leaders and followers of the time. Look, at the leadership strata, there were rebelliousness from same people that Moses was fighting for. The spirit of we can do it better than him syndrome was put against Moses, but he was focused at the promises of Elohim . And at the fellowship, the people indured time, difficulties and most times Moses divinely arranged disappearances. Though bible recorded revolt from the people at a time. What is important here is that despite all these multifaceted challenges, at the end, they got their freedom. When the leadership is resolute, no matter the fragility of the followers, the dream will certainly materialised", the SCCOB National Leaders stated.

Also speaking, the deputy National leader who led the clergymen and women to the alter (Apostle Basil Onwuka), call on Biafra clergymen and women to intensify their prayers on Biafra restoration as it is obvious that Nigeria is doomed to collapsed. He frowned at the rate of loss of human lives and wondered why "some demonic individuals who called themselves clergymen would keep deceiving people that Nigeria has future". He urged Biafrans to show commitment in observing the Passova feast and abstain from evil doings.
