I think there is something like "you can not be sworn in or take oath of office more than twice" in the amended electoral law. Since law may not apply retrogressively, it may not affect GEJ but Ayedatiwa is caught up in the web. It was after the amendment, that he was sworn in to complete Akeredolu's terms. He was sworn in the second time after he won his own election.

Please note that the law is not saying "elected twice", but says "sworn in or oath of office twice".
