Haa is it possible that the list will come out in September? Pls who know if that has ever happened? If so, it means many will have to defer admission.

Also, what could be the cause of this delay? People on here have been saying it is due to ratification… I hope it isn’t because names are being taken off the list/replaced? (Disclaimer: this is just my anxious thought, not that I heard it anywhere).

Anyone with more knowledge should please enlighten me.

It's possible, In 2023 it was released 1st week in September. Yes, many have to defer and some will opt for January admissions. But, the weekend is not over so it's still a possible (no one is sure of anything here).

Ratification is just approval process. There is Bureaucracies with agencies, and PTDF is not an exception. However, this does not mean names are being replaced or removed. Just keep calm and hope for the best and trust God.

How long does it take to get study visa?

Could be a week or less. PTDF has a UK priority visa arrangement. You are going to be working with a PTDF-assigned visa agent to help you. Also, the UK has changed to e visa, so this makes it even faster.

Email the school, since they are part of the approved schools. Tell them you are awaiting the outcome of the PTDF scholarship, and would like more time. The list will be out soon anyway. Don't worry, if you win the scholarship, some schools will be happy to waive some requirements for you. Also if you can't meet up with September, and there are schools that offer your course for the January intake, seek that. Otherwise, defer to next September.

I never said you cooked it. All I was saying was that it's possible that even the sources are speculating. Anytime the Executive Secretary is ready for it to be released, he will OK it, until then it's possible those around him are only speculating.

Exactly this. Waiting can be tough, but at this rate, all we can do is wait it out. It will be out whenever they are ready to release it and nobody knows when for sure. Since the shortlisting has already been done, it can be anytime. All the best everyone.

Don`t panic, bro. Just keep praying and be positive. Also, given by the nature of the competition, try as much as you can to limit your expectations and diversify. Anything can heppen oo. This is what i have been telling myself immediately after the interview.

For real, PTDF breaks hearts like shells. It's the understanding that at least 95% of those that were interviewed will not win that can make all the difference. While it is important to have faith and keep hope alive, it's also important to be realistic and manage your expectations. Everybody dey pray, but no be everybody wey dey pray go still win.

It's doesn't mean you haven't won. But some agents usually have first hand info on list of winners and they try to poach them to come to their school. This is usually the case every year. You can also listen to one of the winners in her video below (from the 25 minutes upward), she mentioned the same.

You better dey sleep oo. You don't know with certainty which night it will come out, and even when it does, the email will still be waiting for you whenever you wake up. Don't put yourself under undue pressure, and please manage your expectations in a healthier way.

I registered specifically to respond to this thread. All you all or your sources are doing is speculating. Yes the list is ready, but PTDF will only release when it's ready. No day is fixed yet. Chill, it can be soon or not. Just Chill.

I think all these things are speculation biko. It will be released over the weekend this August. Which weekend? We don't know, but there are 3 weekends left, and this or next one are the right ones, logically. Because there need to be time for induction and time for visa processing. UK schools resume september.
