The Taruwa Festival of Performing Arts is here again. Expect to see the very best of theatre, music, comedy, spoken word, dance and fashion. Also, there would be screening of short films. I'm ready for this. Lagos, are you ready?


On Thursday June 6th between 7pm & 9pm , we have Bobo Omotayo's bestselling book 'LONDON LIFE LAGOS LIVING' live on stage with an amazing cast. This opens with a musical performance and the one-woman play by Ijeoma Grace Agu, CHRONICLES OF A HEROINE. You really dont want to miss this.

Then on Friday 7th June, we have three events. First, the Children's Performance by 11am, the short film screening by 2pm and then Open Mic Theatre by 5pm.

Then we have the Taruwa Mega Concert come Saturday, 8th of June 2013 between 7pm and 10pm. Promises to be filled with non-stop entertainment as carefully selected acts thrill you with the finest performances in music, spoken word and dance! I won't tell you about the performing acts, you come and see for yourself.

Then to close the four day Taruwa Festival, we have our grand Ball which we call 'The Ankara Ball' Be fashionable, be classy with your ankara fabrics. There will be dinner and music also, so get ready to have fun and dance the night away. As they say the best is saved for last!
