Politics › Re: Obasanjo Says Invitation To Inspect The Refineries Is Disrespectful by franugo(m): 8:56am On Jan 04, 2025
Throwback:
It was already stated as an open invitation.

And It is Obasanjo that needs to clear his own doubt.
There are proper procedures to go through when inviting someone, especially someone who's seen and done all like the ex-president. That's the main issue here, that nnpcl should have gone through the right channel and not a public invitation which can be easily misconstrued as a blatant insult.

But many people did not believe his claim that 180m was stolen.
Whatever, he ended up shooting himself in his foot.
I don't like the way he went about it tho, but yea, a lotta people didn't believe him but instead of verifying or actually pointing out the obvious fallacy, they jumped to cursing him and his family out

There are many people who believe he had some ulterior motives but the outrage & backlash from SM made him backtrack.

Read through the comments, you will see the prank did more harm than good to his reputation.
Or can you tell me one positive thing the prank did for him.
It's supposed to make people actually think before posting and try to verify information before spreading it. It's not that deep bro, na una dey make am be like say na something else

Very foolish experiment. He only succeeded in messing up his reputation.

Sounds more like someone trying to cover up after his ulterior plan failed. He probably underestimated the outrage & backlash from SM over the missing ₦180m claim.
He is the sole signatory or major signatory to the NGO account. I'm sure if he wants to embezzle the funds, he can do that easily. How exactly is claiming that #180m was hacked via website a sensible way to embezzle funds? It was never a credible plot bro, people wey sabi reason wella never believed that bull.

blowjohn:
This thing is complex.

It's easier to go ahead and eat the money little by little especially during any empowerment program he has.
He can even inflate the projects and cash out.

Than to steal the money in one fell swoop.

He's not stupid to just steal the money like that.

But is baffling to me is the motive behind the whole thing( I fail to see it as a prank).
To what end? Everything he complained people said or displayed on the issue is to be expected.
Anger, suspicion, rage, annoyance, shock, surprise, hatred, backstabbing, insults, threats.

What was the motive?

Who made him an authority on media matters... How humans process news and information and respond to them?

Cos that was his premise in the video I watched.

But one thing I know is that VDM is not stupid.
And I know he knows the last and most stupid way to steal that kind of money is by saying someone hacked in and stole it.

Tick tock tick tock tick tock......
Exactly my point, the story, from the little I've gathered, sounds so ridiculous it can't be 100% false.

MasterJayJay:
So why hasn't Zenith sued him for 'lying' that his account was hacked?

When you miss a vital point, you will end up deviating. If VDM can lie that his account was hacked, he can equally present fake bank statement. That's why I said only the bank statement that comes directly from the bank should be trusted.
Firstly, no bank will give you statement of another person's account without a court order.

Secondly, I have not followed vdm's hack story, this is yuletide season, events n family full everywhere, no space sef, but what I know for a fact is that no bank, especially top tier bank, will let their name be tarnished, so if zenith is yet to debunk him, means there's an element of truth in vdm's story, no matter how ridiculous it seems. Maybe he Just isn't explaining it well enough, do you have a link to the story where he said the account was hacked?

How do you know VDM is showing the original bank statement?
How do you know he isn't?

The point is moot anyway, if he's showing a modified statement, then zenith bank will sue his sorry ass just like GTB sued that low budget accountant, Edward, that came out to say rubbish online

That was my hustle years ago and it's very possible.

With what you have said it'll be easy for someone to scam you with a pdf document and in your mind you'll be saying no one can falsify
No one can scam me with a bank statement oga. A bank statement is not like a normal PDF file that you can modify without making significant and identifiable changes to the original document.
Celebrities › Re: Verydarkman Released Bank The Statement Of NGO Account - Nigerians Reacts by franugo(m): 12:42am On Jan 01, 2025
MasterJayJay:
Dude, you are a learner.

There is no PDF file that can't be modified.

Sued by the bank? The problem you guys post something without understanding what you posted.
you can probably modify a bank statement PDF file but not to the extent that it would not show that it was modified, there are plenty signs of modification.
Why do you think the bank will let you post a fraudulent statement and let you go scot free?
Celebrities › Re: Verydarkman Released Bank The Statement Of NGO Account - Nigerians Reacts by franugo(m): 7:23pm On Dec 31, 2024
MasterJayJay:
Dude, you are a novice to make such statement.
Everytime you guys will come on SM and make baseless claims.

Firstly, I really do doubt you can actually make any sort of corrections to a bank statement like I previously stated.

Secondly, on the small probability that you are able to modify the statement as you claimed, a sensible person will not flaunt such a bogus statement online as it leaves you open to be sued by the bank.

No be everything you go claim boss oga

Eco Atlantic is also priced, rented and sold in dollars.

Stampede is an orchestrated plan by politicians to take human blood. It's a modern and clean way of redeeming their vows. Take food items to any state or area, invite people to come pick theirs. At least, one must die.

Or tell people there's a gathering for a social discussion, invite a lot of people and throw gift at them. One person must die. Our politicians know what being organised is all about. They know how to go about it and nobody will lose their lives. But for the reason explained above they'd look the other way. People should stop honouring such calls cos heads dey different. Head strong pass head.

By the way, Alex Iwobi did a good job but UK people no hungry reach naija in this tinubu era. He should have come home to do the same, same way some of our footballers had done in the past.

Shop at mart instead of mall

Annoyingly, those who are privilege hardly patronize road side sellers. They keep on giving their money to the capitalist . Buying fresh fruits at road side compared to mall or mart is almost 10% difference

Lately, I have been deliberately buying some things at the road side just to boost the economy
Funny man, is it the #2,000 banana and pineapple (painted pineapple) that will boost the economy?
