Kanu, Mikel, Who’s Greater?

Shortly after Chelsea defeated Benfica to win the Europa League title in Amsterdam, Mikel Obi, joined his teammates to celebrate their European heroics. Although Mikel was an unused substitute, he is an integral part of the team. Since joining Chelsea in 2006, Mikel has racked a number of individual and team medals.

But does that mean he is the most adorned Nigerian footballer? Has he really achieved more than Kanu Nwankwo? Football fans across the country have often argued this and i decided to bring to Nairaland.

Empress Njamah made her followers confused when she posted this throwback photo of herself and colleague Rukky Sanda.

Rukky Sanda who is now light skinned was unrecognizable in the photo as fans began to wonder if she is truly the one. The fact that it was Rukky in the photo was not questionable as her colleague tagged her in the photo.

It is not the first time that the actress will be accused of bleaching.

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2016 controversial budget into law.
The budget signing which took place at a ceremony held inside the executive office of the President at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja had in attendance, the VP Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Reps, Yakubu Dogara as well as some ministers and aides of the president.

Presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina confirmed the budget signing to SaharaReporters via a text message.

The budget signing ends months of bickering between the executive branch and the legislative arm of the Nigerian government.

Also, notable is the inclusion of the Lagos-Calabar coastal rail project that was initially removed by members of the “Appropriation Committee” at the National Assembly

Mercy Aigbe Cries Out She Wasn't Arrested and Explains Her Side of the Story Following 'Police Arrest'' Report

Following the Police Arrest Report, Mercy Aigbe, denies the news of being arrested.

The actress has responded to reports she was arrested by Policemen in Oshogbo yesterday.

Her Story Below:
"Morning Fans, it has come to my attention that news has been flying around that I was arrested by the police in Osogbo. ..For the records I was never ARRESTED! I was shooting a movie in osogbo and was going for a break with my PA and Driver when we saw a police van chasing us, they later double crossed us, came out of their van and started banging the bonnet of my car asking us to come down.

I was shocked and scared because I didn't know what was going on. I stepped out of the car to ask them what happened and why they double crossed us in that manner, the policemen started shouting and acting crazy pointing his gun at me.

On seeing his behaviour, i took out my phone and started to record them, one of them forcefully collected my phone from me.

My PA also started recording them with an ipad and the policeman slapped her and threw the iPad away. At this point a lot of crowd had already gathered when they saw me and what was happening and they started booing them, saying that is how osogbo policemen harass innocent citizens.

When the policemen saw the large crowd supporting us and that they could be mobbed, they stylishly left only to call for reinforcement of other Police officers.

Those ones came and started shooting sporadically into the air , everyone had to run for their lives. The police officers then forcefully collected my car key & car documents from my driver and even tried to beat him up.

They then ushered us into my car and and a police man drove us to their state headquarters. On getting there, we were taken to the office of the assistant commissioner of police where we narrated what happened and how their men harassed us and caused unnecessary commotion!..... I even showed him the videos I recorded.

The ACP then apologised and pleaded with me to delete the videos. We settled the matter and I went back to work. ....Big thanks to my family, friends and fans for checking up on me....."

Husband of songstress, Tiwa Savage, Mr. Tunji Balogun a.k.a Tee Billz on Thursday posted several posts on Instagram, accusing that his wife and her mother of different sort of things.

Now he’s contemplating between committing suicide or ending his his marriage to the talented singer.

In the past couple of years, Tee Billz, who manages Tiwa Savage, has been accused of domestic violence – but both parties have never spoken on the matter.

At some point, it was rumoured that Tee Billz was intimidated by the fame and success of the singer, hence his resorting to inflicting physical pains on her.

But, this claim has never been confirmed.

I just hope that his account is being hacked.

Please can someone explain this to me because I don't get it.
