Good morning everyone .I have been up since 9pm researching the best school to apply for a Masters Program in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
I came up with three choices:

Memorial University of Newfoundland
University of Manitoba
University of Saskatchewan

My people please help me with your ideas considering Tuition and cost of living/Job availability during and after Studies. I am searching for the most affordable.
Any other University addition Will be highly appreciated

Consider adding more schools to your list bro, I hope you also put in consideration availability of professors in your areas of research interest(s) and your cgpa mostly last two years

University of Western ontario doesn't accept Nigeria card I think. Have you paid lately with the Gtbank card to university of Western ontario?.

I tried using Nigeria card sometimes ago but it wasn't going through

Hi bro, you can easily pay your application fee with GTB naira mastercard, they will charge you approximately 25K.

Nona pretty much helped me with my admission,
I applied for MSC at pre-admission stage, did a wrong conversation from percentages to GPA.
Nona help me changed it in my form after I asked about the conversation.
I emailed a professor with intent to do Msc but he adviced me to go for MEng. This is after my application
Anyways I got rejected for Msc due to limited number of people, I ask Nona about MEng and he immediately move me to MEng without starting from preliminary stage.
I applied in feb (pA I only applied to U of A)
He even notified me when my references had not filled my form... that caused a delay- they did not fill it till April..smh--- anyways got admission by may

Hello Rubbies22, please i want you to clarify me well on your application in UofA. was your app automatically transferred from the MSc to the MEng option after not being considered for the Msc admission which you applied initially. thanks

Okay, the thing is, I applied to the University of Regina for fall admission but just got a rejection mail from the Faculty of graduate study and research. I don't intend giving up, so I am thinking of applying to three different schools for winter admission. Please any advice on what schools in Canada has a high admissibility rate for prospective M.ENG international students

Okay, is it MEng or MESc? I applied in ECE dept first week of April, the graduate studies coordinator of my dept said it will take approximately 4-6 weeks for a decision to be made on my application. I suggest you wait till your application clocks exactly 6weeks.

Meanwhile i think you didnt apply early enough for the FALL semester. Just remain hopeful Bro

Hey guys! sorry I have not replied earlier to POE experience and all I have been busy. Trying to settle down.

1. In the POE, none of my bags were searched, no question was asked. I submitted my offer letter and passport and I got my study and work permit.

2. In Canada here, you need to have confidence to be successful, I had to challenge my landlord here for him to sit up. He wanted to be funny because I am new.

3.You can change your program route; I have successfully changed here to research those profs that don't respond to emails do that because you are

First of all, what is the current status of your application? And which start term are you going for? I applied to same school ending of last month for January 2018, and my application status is showing "currently under review" I suggest you e-mail your dept grad cord to get the admission processing period.

it took MSVU about 5 months and 2 weeks to grant me an admission for January 2017. I applied mid July 2016. So give them time.

A i have been volunteering in different organisation such as the UN and clinton so i got letters from them to show i have been doing some volunteer work with them. And the same applies to the the church and community.. i do community service and then i got the local office to write me a letter and then for the church am a choir leader for the youth in my church and i teach the young ones on there choir therefore i got a letter from my pastor..

As for the Study plan i wrote it in form of question and answer. When you check your checklist there those 6 questions they ask. So i wrote it in that form. And i did not type i did handwriten.. tho its best you type.. because of handwriting.

Can a trv application be rejected because an undergraduate course is not the same as the one for graduate? Even though they are related e.g. Electrical and Electronics engineering for undergrad and Computer science for graduate course? Because in electrical and electronics engineering we can have computer architecture and also wireless networks which is also in computer science. And do I need to convince the VO that they are related? Would that help?

I dont think so.. But you have to prove to the VO why you which to divert to Compt Sci instead of going for MSc or MEng in ECE
