I have said it before, I will keep saying it; the southeast leaders are very culpable. Their silence in the face of this despicable shame is unbelievable.

OoniOfIfe:
What Trevor Noah wrote about South Africans

There are about 2.3 million Immigrants living in South Africa, this number includes other Africans, Chinese, Bangladeshi, Indians, middle easterners and Europeans who are not born in SA. out of this number, only 1.6 million are Africans. The 1.6 MILLION Africans mostly run small shops, vending, service industries etc. They may lay claim to less than 0.00001% of wealth in SA.

Whites in South Africa makes up about 8.7% of the population and controls over 85% wealth. Though there are increases in black CEOs and managers, these are mere servants and just a optical presentations. There are about 6000 Europeans families who own over 85% of agricultural lands in south Africa. So when I hear south Africans claiming that other Africans are competing with them on dwindling/scarce resources, I say that your anger and outrage is misplaced. African immigrants don't own lands, don't run companies, don't own mining companies, don't operate trophy hunting companies, do not ship out capital to European banks.

Yours is a complete misplaced anger, prejudice and xenophobia built up out of inferiority complex created by decades of apartheid and oppression. I don't see fellow African as a competitor but a fellow compatriot who is struggling to feed his family and have some comfort in this short life-time. If you feel undeserved in wealth distribution, please research again who controls that wealth and it has nothing to do with some Nigerian, Zimbabwean or Mozambican working in a restaurant or Ethiopian running a small shop, or a Ghanaian mechanic working hard in the sun.

There is zero excuse to hate or despise any African at all, there are no merits for it and it's baseless at best. When African Immigrants living in SA start owning like 20% of wealth and not hiring SA natives, then I will be on the streets with you to protest. Till then, if you hate fellow African for simply running a simple store, you are nothing but a buffoon, slowpoke who was prematurely circumcised and never grew up. Base your hate on facts, not inferiority complex. That's all.

Brah, your point is great! Fact however is that unlike other Africans who do legit menial jobs and their business, 60% of Nigerians in SA are drug peddlers...this is a known fact. Visit Hillbrow in Joburg, Point Road in Durban and Parklands in Cape Town and see how low our people have descended to...If I was South African, I would loathe Nigerians...

The reason the senators are flexing muscles is because they are afraid that Magu and his men would soon discover where they heed their loots like Andrew Yakubu...no matter how long falsehood runs, truth will catch up and overtake it.

He's Jesus cannot heal him abi?Awon Oloshi..

The difference between 'his Jesus' and your whatever, is that 'his Jesus' has kept him strong and healthy for 76 great years and will still keep him longer. His Jesus doesn't need your validation...but no documented record shows that your 'whatever' you profess to follow raised a dead goat. Whereas 'his Jesus' still attracts nonviolent millions into theaters across the globe, your 'whatever' is still perpetrating violence by bombing and killing innocent people through his mindless followers long after his death...I'll rather have 'his Jesus' than your blood-sucking whatever.

Only the federal government offers room for diversity in the workplace in the whole Nigeria. If it was in the private sector you will see mainly one tribe (depending on who has more power the CEO or HR) as if other tribes religions etc cannot get the job done.

Politics / Re: We Are No Longer Comfortable Being Part Of Nigeria - Igbo Leaders. by freeborn76(m): 7:31pm On Feb 17, 2017
aloziedaya:
The Igbo's are the only tribe in Nigeria that believe in 'one Nigeria' and that is where their problem lies. If you are dealing with a Hausa man, he first thinks of his religion and ethnicity, a Yoruba man thinks of his ethnicity first but an Igbo man thinks of one Nigeria. If you come to the east you hardly see any structure built by a Hausa man or Yoruba but, travel all over Nigeria the Igbo's are developing them bearing in mind the 'one Nigeria' syndrome.
The Igbo man's quest for wealth has robbed him of his sense of belonging. That is why they develop other cities while theirs lay bare. Lagos today is developed by the igbos. Imagine what would happen if the igbo businesses in Lagos are in the east. Every major market in Lagos is dominated by them; ALABA INTERNATIONAL, TRADEFAIR, COMPUTER VILLAGE, LADIPO AUTO MARKET, BERGER AUTO MARKET, IDUMOTA etc. These are the backbone of Lagos state. They'll tell you that the seaport is in Lagos but, the largest motorcycle spare parts market in Africa is in Nnewi and, it is striving without any seaport in the east.
Have you imagined what would have happened if these markets are dominated by the hausas? Or the Yorubas dominating these markets in another state? Of course they would have transfered them to their areas.
Igbo's need to rethink and realize their mistakes. Develop your own. If you make billions in lagos and the billions are still reinvested in Lagos, you've not made anything. Aku ruo ulo amara onye nwe ya. Igboland will develop when we make wealth outside and send it home. The houses you build in Lagos because of the appreciation rate of Lagos can be built equally in the east to boost the appreciation rate there. Lagos is appreciating because you've developed it, do same down home.
Politically, Igbo's are marginalized because they are seen as divided people who cannot come together with one voice.

There goes that silly nonsense rant again! You developed Lagos? What narcissistic balderdash! That is the same way you developed Kano, PH and Abuja...yet for some strange spiritual reason, you can't find the will to develop your region, it is called madness brah, collective madness!
