Some people are even join them on this forum because they also want to get likes. Smh. I can't be deceived. I'm with Jonathan till the end. Let's see who will cry at last. The mods should do a checkup now. exactly, some non partisan people join them for the sake of "likes". They should know that these "likes" are from softwares, not real. |

It has come to my notice that APC may be manipulating "likes" on nairaland to favor its agents posts on nairaland. APC has a history of perpetrating internet fraud. First was the hacking of nairaland after their candidate lost the Ekiti poll. Then the cloning of PVCs, the use of spam accounts to over bloat Buharis followers on Twitter and now the programming of bots to manipulate the AIT online poll to favor its candidate Buhari. I urge non partisan nairalanders not to be swayed by the number of likes on posts by APC agents. The "likes" have been programmed. I wonder why APC is so interested in online campaign when a larger population of Nigerians are not online. Why does APC keep chasing shadows? |

Labaran Maku visits Obiano Maku earlier in his speech lauded the Governor Willie Obiano led administration for its focused leadership, massive infrastructural development and security of the State. Maku recalled that he visited the state about one and half years ago and admitted that a lot had changed within the short period of Obiano’s tenure. “We are not surprised that Anambra state that was once avoided by travelers due to the activities of armed robbers and kidnappers, today has gone quiet and tranquil,” he said. The governorship candidate expressed confidence that the state would lead in the industrial sector, following Obiano’s security and infrastructural development initiatives. http://nigerianpilot.com/nasarawa-guber-gov-obiano-pledges-work-makus-victory/ |

Willie Obiano, the governor of Anambra state, has increased the salaries of workers in the state civil service by 15 per cent. The pay raise, announced on behalf of the Anambra state executive council by Tony Onyima, the commissioner for information, culture and tourism, takes effect from January. According to Onyima, the decision was in fulfillment of Obiano’s promise during his maiden meeting with the state workforce shortly on assumption of office. “The governor promised to raise the salary of civil servants to bring it at par with their counterparts in the local government system,” he said. “The pay rise was approved because of improvement in the state’s internally generated revenue, which at that time stood at N500 million monthly. But with determination, aggressiveness and the blockage of loopholes, the state’s IGR has risen to over N1 billion.” Onyima urged civil servants to reciprocate the government’s gesture by improving their productivity. http://www.thecable.ng/obiano-raises-anambra-workers-salaries-15-per-cent |

did you say Ngige defeated Dora? you no go kill me with laugh. I am one of those that have worked against Obi many time except in 2014 when Ngige failed to fulfill the promises he made when he invited us to his Awka office in 2011. You talked about Obi's former commissioner, you forgot that Odedo one of the voices in Idemmili politics have left APC to PDP.
Dear I traversed every nook and cranny of Anambra state campaigning for Soludo in 2010. I revere him but that will not make me to say he did well when he tried to delete history.
anything against GEJ will go viral on the internet. You talked about Soludo's write up being everywhere on the net and most read... remember Mbaka's message also went viral. Who controls Nigeria media? It is anti GEJ therefore anything against him will become viral
You talked about Nsukka, lolzz. yopu dont even know where I live...
Chime has done well. He is building on existing structure. Obi almost started from the scratch... Never forget that...
I dont like Obi and I will never like him... but I wont say he didnt perform well in Anambra state...
I am sorry to make you get so provoked and call me names... I dont understand... Sorry if I called you names but quick facts. Soludo didn't try to delete history, he deleted history of propaganda. Fyi. obi met a road revolution and security by Ngige when he came in, saying he didn't meet anything is a big lie. questions 1. Did Jonathan ever reply mbaka? 2. Are there no Chime projects in nsukka 3. For every Odedo there is an Afam ogene (strong obi supporter in house of reps) who joined Ngige in APC? 4. didn't Ngige defeat late dora again? For sure, it's not only ibos that will vote for Jimi Agbaje. But only ibos will vote for the ibo candidate. your rants would have been useful if you channelled this energy on your native state of osun. its a pity that after these rants, you will still pay your rents to an igbo landlord in Lagos, still seek job from an igbo run company, still buy goods from an igbo, still be deported to osun by the next governor as Fashola has done. What you should know is whether Agbaje or Ambode you must be bound to perform this task or be thrown out. If you had channelled this energy to the development of osun. maybe you will have a bragging right. Stop coveting something that does not belong to you! |

Chigold101: I didnt cry foul because for Soludo to go hands and knee begging Obi was annoying to me.
Soludo does not have any influence to ridicule Obi. As I said in my comment: If Soludo has made his points without calling names it would have made much sense. But for him to mention names shows that he is still full of animosity because of what happened in 2010 and replayed again in 2013.
Enugu the capital of Enugu is a project that was carried out by the whole south eastern (region) states. If Anambra is the way it is now about 8years ago, I believe that Anambra state would have been better than enugu state as whole. However, apart from Enugu town, no other town or place is as good as villages on Anambra state.
Ngige is leaving in the backyard of Anambra state, believe it or leave it. Soludo is at this point none existing at all in Anambra state main stream politics...
What is the difference between what Enugu gets and what Anambra gets Soludo does not have any influence and here you are crying over his viral article which is the most read this year. No influence yet the president, APC and Peter obi are issuing rejoinders here and there. The Peter obi world you live in will not allow you see the extent of damage the article did to Obi's image. it was a trending topic on twitter. 2. Soludo has never begged obi for anything. It was Victor umeh he was working with before obi rushed and reconciled with the Victor umeh faction (it was on TV) 3 Ngige defeated obi and late akunyili together with a yoruba party, He's about to do it again. If you are looking for someone that has lost his political relevance in Anambra its Peter Obi as you can see in the election going on. Peter obi has no camp. A former commissioner under Peter obi is now with Ngige 4. stop fooling yourself, we are comparing Chime with obi not Enugu. Where are Peter Obi's signature projects in 8 years with a higher allocation than Chime. Have you visited nsukka? You can cry from now till tomorrow, the profs point is still valid. |

On a serious note, how old are you? Were you in Anambra State as an adult as far back as 1993? Do you know the madness that reigned from the Mid Nineties up till 2004?
Did we have a State Secretariate to start with?
Am sure you thinking of some funky white elephant project, when the basics, fundamentals and foundations are rickety and needed to be sorted. Ever wondered why Obiano hit the ground running? The foundation had already being laid.. and up sprang the building seriously real democracy started 1999 and you are mentioning 1993. I was in Anambra when Peter obi sought for election in 2003. I saw his campaign posters, even the one he said his children will school in Anambra etc. He looked innocent. I believe he had the best intention but I guess greediness and selfishness took the better part of him. It not all smooth for Obiano, remember the situation he met security and how he tackled it. Zonacom: This guy, your dislike for obi no get part two. About prof's write up, i must commend soludo for being neutral ( if he actually is). His analysis of Gej's economic policies is something that should be taken very seriously. It would make sense if the Nigeria Electoral Debate group make use of some of the salient points raised by the prof as basis for the forthcoming presidential debate. About Peter obi, i dont entirely blame the prof for seizing this opportunity to take a jab at the man who disgraced him politically. But wasn't Soludo the same person that sang Obi's praise before the primaries in 2013? Soludo needs to be careful when saying certain things. He shouldn't drag Anambra's name to the mud simply because he wanna make his point. when does mentioning peter obi equal dragging anambra to the mud. Most of my problem with peter obi is because his hired agents are trying to portray him as what he is not. He is not the first governor to fail in his duties and will probably not be the last but when people portray a failure as the best thing to ever happen, there is a problem. |

Cuche: I couldn't read all of Prof's article, however, those who said he is nursing some ill feelings on a personal level towards Obi maybe right. I mean, how could he exonorate OBJ almost completely from the wrong choices Nigeria is battling with today. On a general note for those who understand what drives economies, neither Obi nor GEJ had done so well and Buhari can't do any magic under the prevailing circumstances. All those change talk is gibberish Under a person like Buhari, when Labour unrests resume following the austerity measures he will not be open for negotiations, Strike actions will be indefinite and mean indefinite Btw Buhari will never rule Nigeria again Yes, I'm a very big jonathan supporter. I know there is no reason for Soludo to support Jonathan because of what Jonathan did to his governorship ambition especially in 2010. He also criticized Buhari and dismissed his manifesto so it's not like he's supporting Buhari either. He may have some grudges to settle with obi too but it does not dismiss the truth in what he wrote about him. |

pazienza: I stand for the good roads Obi constructed, he should be commended for that.
The NAPEP stats is a better stat, as they are more on ground than the NBS that stay in Abuja conjuring stats out of their anus.
There must be a monumental disaster of epic proportions, perhaps a natural disaster, for Anambra to transform from the least poverty stricken state to one of the poorest within a decade. The NBS stats is irrational/Illogical, probably cooked up to massage some people's ego, and not in agreement with the NAPEP stats nor with the realities on ground. Good roads indeed and yet we can't recall again how many roads Obiano has flagged off in less than one year now. I know you are probably confusing some Ngige roads for Peter obi because they look as though they were constructed yesterday! do you expect me to take economic information from you over a former CBN governor. You can believe what you want but at the end facts are still facts. this article has gone viral, even the president I know is reading it. how will you know realities on ground when you don't live in Anambra. |

pazienza: I don't know what else Peter Obi did other than the visible roads he did I saw, and I only praised him for that aspect of his governance.
But if you believe the bogus stats that Ndi Anambra are poorer than Niger state people, then you are not being objective.
And moreover, Soludo was comparing apples with oranges, the poverty stats that placed Anambra as the state with least level of poverty rate was conducted by Kpakol led NAPEP, their stats were credible as it reflects the reality on ground. The one Soludo is using to judge Obi was conducted by the much politicized National Bureau for stats, headed by a Yoruba man and is clearly politicized and at odds with the reality on ground. stop beating about the bush and come forward lets know what you stand for. Why is the Yoruba man after obi particularly, why didn't he name ebonyi, imo, Abia, Enugu etc as the poorest? On what index do you say poverty level was higher in Niger state? on civil servants remuneration, agriculture, youth empowerment, local government administration? Talk like an educated fellow. I commend the present administration for trying to right these wrongs. Obiano has consistently said he will increase civil servants salaries immediately revenue improves. We know what he is also doing in Agriculture. etc. Its a pity that for people like you whenever Anambra is mentioned traders come to your mind. |
