Now to answer your question;

As far as we know, the bible said in 1 Peter 4:6 that for for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

So the answer to your question is that Jesus went to Hell and preached to them and those that repented followed him to Heaven.

As for those who died after Jesus came, they are all in hell as far as we know. You cannot enter heaven without Jesus.

I hate church too. But Jesus is real and he is sad and angry. Many are entering hell daily. It doesn't matter if you had a bad experience in church. Jesus said "come to me" not "go to church".

I was once a full blown Christian and the more I got involved in the church, the more I started seeing things for what they really were... I saw hell on earth, if members didn't do enough evangelism throughout the month, they'd get whipped with a belt by our senior pastor, we'd each be allocated the amount of offering that we're expected to give as members depending on our family backgrounds, and almost everyone was fornicating in that church because apparently "the founding pastor didn't mind"... So I did give Christianity a chance, but I unfortunately ended up in deep depression and became suicidal, it took the work of a therapist to get me back into my senses... And this is one of the biggest churches in Africa.

Each time I hear the name Ebonyi, I wonder if it's truly a state in Nigeria 😂

I live in the UK it never happens. Most of you who make noise about saner countries have never left Nigeria.

In the UK the government will demolish it and you will be made to pay for the demolition, yes you will pay the company that carried out the demolition.

In saner countries, a form of compensation would be granted you in form of loans but this country is trying to kill it's citizens instead.

A family that doesn't believe in tradition, because I'm from a strong traditional background and last thing I've ever wanted was for the other family to be judging my family by assuming that they're diabolical for being traditionalists.

Because many people associate African spirituality with evil, which is not always the case... In every religious denomination, there'll always good and evil people... And African spirituality raised and shaped me into the person I am today, no matter how much some people might demonize it, I'll forever be grateful of it even if I become a full blown Christian... So if my partner and his family weren't going to accept my background for the way it is, there was no way we'd have worked out.

I salute your experience and wisdom. Only those who know by experience can say this. That's my first indicator to look out for.

That last sentence is a fact. The problem with their wisdom at that age is that it is one sided. Yes, their concerns might be valid but it is also usually coming from a selfish stand point.
