What triggered this Post was what I read on YouTube and on Twitter and when I checked each names they were mostly from the North and a few from the South (west specifically). They were calling for the arrest of the Urhobo king and as a southerner I saw that as an insult because we here from south have never for once called for the arrest of any northern king, yet since 2011 till now more soldiers have died in the north and more have been kidnapped.

When a soldier die down south, it's the village but when same happen in the north it's not the fault of the village. As a Benin man, I feel pity for my urhobo brothers and I think this should be the stand of all South. Let soldiers go and summon emir of Katsina and co for all the killings in the North first. God continue to protect our armed forces that are doing the Right thing and not those playing politics with human lives.

did a convention, the shocking thing was that they were giving gifts to women who they will end up killing their sons. If you or any of your family members took gifts from those occultic people in the name of philanthropy, just know your son's and grandsons are on mortgage already either they die in the hands of or they join and other cult groups kill them.

If any cult come with their stupid philanthropy, ask them how many of their widows they have fed. How many of their falling members are their children out of school that they are currently sponsoring? Some of their members children or family members can't feed because they Lost their bread winners. Finally, if they really wanted to make peace they can stretch a hand of help to the people they have killed their families as a form of restitution. Now you know why we have bad politicians, because they know the game. Give them rice during election and suffer them for 4 years, same way is giving gift during convention and killing people after convention. I come in peace

People just walk about in Benin, go into any house and kill whoever they want and walk away freely and that's a state with a chief security officer? No matter what excuse you may use but this is insensitive of the state governor. Secondly I thought the Oba of Benin was also a father to all, what are they all doing about the violence in Benin?

The governor seems more concerned about fighting opponents than securing lives and property. I think this government deserve a protest vote against him and his party for folding his hands and watch our land been soaked with blood.

One of the guy that was killed around siluko on the 24th in the Eiye massacre had a pregnant wife, she just delivered in March and has been wailing over her husband not seeing the baby they planned together all because of cultism. Now his Aye cult group instead of giving their dews money to support the wife in raising the child and other children the deceased left behind rather chose to use the money to buy more bullets and start another round of killing some few days back also making more women widows... Now my question is, will the woman cook the meat of the dead young men and feed it to her baby? If yes, then make them carry twins dead body go cook take feed the baby. Cultist are so dumb walai, no sense of reasoning at all.

Cultism takes away your sense. When me and my bro when be former kpoai for aye dey talk for phone, he opened up to me that Yoruba and igbos are the ones spoiling Benin. But was he right? Nah, I think Benin's are the ones spoiling their own land starting from the oba. The igbos are Yoruba they are referring to are only coming in as externals, now who invited them over? In 2015 it was alleged that some people imported Fulani militia to destabilize the country, so if we are to blame today would we shift all the blames to the Fulani guys exempting those who invited them? Nor be wetin visitor meet you dey do for your house them go follow you do? Truth be say the fighting and killings don tire most old member's but they are at fault because as it is they ought to stop blending new members. If any cult refuse to take new members for next 7 years, that cult will enjoy peace because what I notice is that new members always join for vengeance and later causing troubles.

For the past 5 years now there have been an increase in people's stores getting broken into at night and all their goods looted. No goods is spared, even up to hair saloons are getting looted. It's so annoying how heartless these people are, taking people's sweat and some of these businesses were set up with loans. Nothing is safe, not even your outside bulbs and wires,they are all taken leaving the owner in pain and agony.

I did not want to mention this part but I will anyway. Most of the burglars caught are always from a particular region of the country, him just be like wetin them take swear give them. Street lights ukon, them go pull everything take. Seems tye next move would be to start setting all these people on fire for the pain they are causing little businesses who are trying to feed.

Aye dey vex me... They have caused the death of over 150 youths in Benin alone directly and indirectly. 150 people loved by their families and friends. The 3 Ayes that were attacked and killed at Ogida I know them very very well. Infact me and one spoke some days before that day. Okay let me tell you why those family men were killed, because some of their members went to cause trouble and killed a guy called lagbaja. In all of this both sides are people I know, so if anyone die even Eiye or aye, him dey always pain me because many of us grew together and because of colour we start dey delete ourselves? If you look deep aye always starts the trouble, always.... It's not bad if their members accept the truth for once and restructure to save lives but rather they brag with the killings, but what about their members who get killed in reprisals are they not human?

I hate all cult group,but if there is one I don't even like to be seen close to, it's aye because they are always warring. That cult don bring so many shameful insult to oba of Benin both home and abroad. You need to see how them dey drag oba for their matter. Even in Lagos, after killing an Aye they made a voice note also insulting oba of Benin. Aye is shameful to us in Benin and not a proper representation of Benin because an average Benin person is accommodating.

Infact in Benin you won't tell a stranger from a Benin person.

Aye directly and indirect caused the death of two people in Benin again and son it maybe more than two from the look of things. If you are a cultist your life is just two bar left but if you be Aye, your life dey low battery already.... If I was the governor, God know I would put any cultist I catch in a cage fight with tigers. I won't bother getting goats to train lions for the zoo because cultist meat go surplus cheesy

... Government should take this advise, make the rolling squad go show tiger their brutality for cage. Even kidnappers deserve same treatment and it would be televised on State TV stations.

What is wrong with this one? How am I to know the officer will react such a way or do police just walk around and start spitting on people? My Only disappointment was that I did not know the particular convoy or who they were escorting. Maybe he or she would have been in best position to caution his escorts. But one thing that was visible was their PDP flag mounted in front of their tinted vehicles and then they had 3 bike escorts in front of them with very bright blue lights.

Before my very eyes, where I parked my car when I saw these government officials in their long convoy with siren, a pure water seller was SPAT ON by one of the police. I saw the Young boy cleaning the spit from his face, I felt so sad for him. No matter what that boy did, he never deserved to be spat on. He was not even the driver of the supply truck, he was a supply boy.

Why do those in power in Nigeria always abuse their power? That boy ought to be in school, but he is still struggling to survive and because you are escorting a government official, you spat on him like a dog.
