PoliticsHow Kwankwaso Has Helped Gov Abba Since 1992 the story is very emotional by Freshtruth(op): 9:55am On May 20
In 1992, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso was serving as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Nigeria. During that period, he brought along a 29-year-old young man who had worked under him in the Water Resources Department during the 1980s, and appointed him as his Personal Assistant (P.A).
In 1999, after Kwankwaso had continued his political struggle since 1992, that same young man had returned to work in the Water Resources sector. Unexpectedly, Kwankwaso won the governorship election in Kano State, and once again he sought out the young man and reappointed him as his P.A, this time as the Personal Assistant to the Governor.

In 2003, after Kwankwaso lost his re-election bid, the Federal Government appointed him as Nigeria’s Minister of Defence. Kwankwaso still did not abandon the young man; instead, he took him along to Abuja and appointed him as his Special Assistant (S.A).
In 2007, after Kwankwaso left the Ministry of Defence, Olusegun Obasanjo appointed him as Special Envoy to Somalia and Darfur. Again, Kwankwaso continued to move with the young man as his close aide and trusted right-hand man.
In 2009, under the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Umaru Musa Yar'Adua appointed Kwankwaso as the representative of the North-West region. Kwankwaso once again continued working closely with the young man as his right-hand man. In that same year, Kwankwaso secured a federal appointment for him, and fortunately, the late Yar’Adua appointed him as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Ondo State.

In 2011, Kwankwaso returned and became Governor of Kano State for the second time. Once again, he brought back the young man and handed him the position of Commissioner in one of the major ministries.
In 2019, after Kwankwaso completed his tenure as governor in 2015, the young man had stepped back from politics until 2018, when Kwankwaso brought him forward again and declared that he would contest for governor under the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This decision caused Kwankwaso to lose some allies and supporters, as many believed he had chosen someone who was not experienced or capable enough. The election was conducted, victory was initially declared, then it was announced as inconclusive, and eventually Abdullahi Umar Ganduje retained his seat.

In 2023, Kwankwaso once again brought forward the same young man and insisted that he would be the candidate. Due to the lack of a solid political structure within the PDP to support him, Kwankwaso left the party and joined a relatively small and lesser-known party called the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), together with his supporters. He once again ensured that the young man secured the ticket. The election was held, victory was achieved, and the young man eventually became the Governor of Kano State.
History can be inspiring to hear. However, sadly, after this young man became governor, within just two years the story began to take a different and unpleasant turn from the end of 2025 into 2026.

PoliticsBeen NDC Flagbearer Does Not Make You President Kenneth Okonkwo Blast Obi Again by Freshtruth(op): 9:17am On May 20
Kenneth Okonkwo blasted the idea of politicians stepping down for Peter Obi, saying the real election is not inside NDC but against President Tinubu in the general election.

He said if Peter Obi wants everybody to keep stepping down for him, then he should go further and meet Tinubu himself to also step down. According to him, party primaries do not make anyone president because the real fight starts at the general election.

Okonkwo added that if becoming a party flagbearer was enough to enter Aso Rock, he would have personally joined those begging aspirants to step aside so the Southeast could produce the next president.

He also praised the ADC process, stressing that unlike past complaints in Nigerian politics, nobody accused the primaries of being monetized or dollarized.

For the first time in 2023 we Saw a prominent polictian who lost an election refuse to go out of the snece, he didn't travel to England to wait till after 4 years he stay back put this government in power on their toes, critizes any singular mistakes of the government.
He went to idp camps in the northerner regions of the country make reasonable donations, went to both South East, south south, and south west nursing schools made reasonable donations.
He has also created controversies this past years to get people talking by sharing rice in a public party events he intentionally join the collation as a hide out why he shop for a safe garded political party
He also created person social Media account on TikTok, IG and fb he has started is campaign and to cap it all he has anglin with one of the top men in the north .

Atiku is not a scaring factor to the north it is obi . With pdp governors backing Atiku in 2023 scored 6.5m votes let watch how many votes Atiku will have this time around without a single governor working for him.

Obi is the main opposition now cause obi has cross over 6m votes without a single governor win 12good states.

If Good luck is not running Obi will win again with kwankwaso. But Ine. Hold the microphone to announce the winner

You can only fool yourself and the gullibles around you. Because of you, our State governor then took a 1.5 trillion naira loan to sponsor and support your ambition. How is the relationship between both of you today?
Do you know in saner climes, nominations forms and campaign spendings are very transparent especially in Presidential elections and hardly from the candidates private pocket? Nigeria will be Great Again.

PoliticsI Would Had Step Down For Peter Obi If He had Bought Nominations Form- Atiku by Freshtruth(op):
When Asked To Step Down For Obi, Atiku Reportedly Said: ‘Let Obi First Pay His Nomination Form Money’ – ADC source”

For many political observers, the reported defection of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) just days after joining the party with much fanfare came as a surprise.

According to The Nation, close associates of both politicians claimed the development was not unexpected, saying there had been tensions beneath the surface long before the move.

It was noted that their association in the ADC was not the first time both men had found themselves in the same political camp. In fact, they had previously worked together during the 2019 presidential election, when Obi served as Atiku Abubakar’s running mate under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

At the time, Atiku was said to have chosen Obi over several other prominent figures who were reportedly considered for the vice-presidential ticket, including former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, former Central Bank of Nigeria governor and then Anambra State governor Prof. Charles Soludo, former Minister of Agriculture Akinwumi Adesina, and former AMCON Managing Director, Mr. Chike Obi.

The Atiku–Obi ticket, however, went on to lose the election, continuing Atiku’s earlier string of unsuccessful presidential bids. Despite the loss, sources claimed that the fallout from the partnership was not solely about the electoral defeat, but also about internal disagreements during the campaign.

According to party insiders, Atiku was allegedly displeased with Obi’s approach to campaign funding, accusing him of being reluctant to contribute financially and instead depending largely on Atiku to shoulder the cost of their joint presidential ambition.

The sources further alleged that this experience left a lasting impression on Atiku and shaped his perception of Obi in subsequent political dealings.

In light of this background, an ADC chieftain who spoke on the condition of anonymity claimed that Atiku’s reaction to Obi’s entry into the ADC was one of scepticism, suggesting that he believed from the outset that Obi’s presence in the party would not lead to a successful or stable political partnership, given their previous experience together.

The official said, “A lot of people know about Obi’s self-entitlement mentality, but they don’t know how serious it is. Do you know that Obi’s stingy nature was the sore point between him and Atiku in ADC? Atiku already knew him from their working relationship in 2019.

“So, the moment some people approached him with the proposal that he should step down for Obi in the contest for the party’s presidential ticket, the first thing he told them was to ask Obi to first of all put down money for the party’s nomination form.”

The source alleged that Atiku made the demand because he was aware of Obi’s reluctance to spend money, adding that Obi’s subsequent actions appeared to confirm that concern. The source further claimed that Obi left the party quickly, before anyone could react, and moved to the NDC.

The source also stated that the main challenge the NDC might face if Obi became its presidential candidate would be getting him to commit financial resources to campaign activities…See More
