@Elrazur, thanks for stopping by once again, my homie! I didn't mean directly "similar" to Fela's style but "likened" as in the way you like Fela, u know. There's a little Fela in me. My style is Afro-Pop pop in african stylee On opening another account, i don't think i need that. Frijos is Ok for me. Frijos does that job perfectly well. I don't need to pretend. I want yall to know this is me, doing all this. So when I make it to the bright screens ya'll gon be like Yo! i know that dude and then trace it down here. I appreciate everyone ya'll that's been calling me. Thanks for the words of encouragement. This means a lot to me. I mean the fact that ya'll out there feel where i'm coming from, where i'm going to and what i'm looking for. I speak proudly about ya'll too. In every media interview i get. This nairaland is part of my history. Part of my life. Thanks guys! ![]()

Friday Okoh Joseph aka Olusesi is an up-coming artiste based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is from Ukale-Igwu in Orokam, Ogbadigbo Local Government Area of Benue state, Nigeria. Olusesi started his music career in 2006. He has been recording and performing since then. He grew up with so much love and passion for music. His father late Mr Joseph Anebi Okoh discovered his (olusesi) talent at a tender age and encouraged him to pursue his dreams. Olusesi's style can be likened to that of the Afro-beat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti but he has a very unique sound that is very distinct from all the rest. Olusesi's style of music can be called Afro-Pop. It's an infusion of local and a bit of foriegn musical instruments and dialects to sound more traditional. He intends to promote the African culture through his music. Olusesi gets his inspiration from his past experiences in life and his family. He is a very loving and caring gentle young man who enjoys entertaining people and making them feel good and happy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guys I now have a dedicated fan page on facebook.com to join please search for Olusesi or follow this direct link http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Olusesi/168669743162034 Thanks! MGT. WeLoveYou! Entertainment ![]()

I don start dey sell my album o lol. I just do it with my free time (when i'm out the office). The packaging alone is making the sales for me. It's going good. So far i've sold 48 copies and i'm not doing it FULL-FORCE! u can imagine what happens if I take my leave from work lol. Anyway, it feels good the response i'm getting. I've learnt something as a business man it's not good to procastinate. BTW my selling price ranges depending on the customer, from =N=100 to =N=1,500 per cd. I made 1,000 copies with =N=75,000 if let's say I sell each one for =N=100 which anyone can afford, i'll be making =N=25,000 profit per 1,000 copies wow!

Oleku and if u wanna stop my shine then Oleku album is now on NJO go cop it. Yeah Ice-Prince's album coming shortly too. Naija hip-hop on a full-blast ya'll I like this line from Ice-Prince where he goes "My Pop is Resting" that's a simple but very touching line from Mr Zamani. ![]() |
@ Fred man I feel u. I'm seriously thinking of taking the independent route becos "no time" i can't be waiting for one major label to come and sign me that's a long thing and I no too dey down with their protocols. i.e u don't have creative control of ur stuff. we all want convenience but am thinking "long-term" benefits, it may be hard now but once i've crossed i'm the BOSS! I hope u understand. And as for track with Vector that's no big deal at all. Cheers! ![]() |
Denge Posed is one of my favorites off the state of suprise albm Vector's debut. Right from the day the song was done I knew it will make it to the album. There are so many mad tracks that didn't make it to the album! BTW Denge Pose was produced by Samklef. ![]() |
Mobinga:out of pity right?lol ![]() |
Fred87:Fred baba, by independently I mean marketing the album myself (from the trunk of my ride/in my back pack while I do my 9-5 hustle during weekdays). For those ya'll in Lagos I cud mail the album to you using the services of FedEx courier it costs 500 naira only. I can do a collabo with Vector anytime no probs. Thanks man. eeeezzz! lol @ Da-whizkid, thanks for stopping by man! One luv! ![]() |

@Elrazur, thanks for stopping by man. I really appreciate u taking the time to drop these few golden words of advise. And for everyone of you encouraging me to keep it up, thanks! Yeah, i'm not releasing my album just yet but I really do hope I can bring it out by the first qtr of 2011. Fresh tracks all the way. New Olusesi. yeah, i'd like to suprise ya'll lol. Sometimes I wish I was doing this music hustle full-time and my 9-5 job wasb't in the way but there's nothing I can do for now since I have no sponsor. Anyway, i'm Still in-talks with Sammy Vibez (The Marketer) and we're tryna make it a win-win situation. wish me luck! ![]() |
