not only that, the amount dem dey loot don go up too. before na 3 billion max, now na 200 billion. even okowa take 1 trillion, el rufau 400 billion OlujobaSamuel: Then you should know that that family friend of yours is one of those stealing our subsidy fund and can't maintain a proper fuel station when it's time to use Thier own fund for the business. Right now, fuel stations wey don close for years are now reopening, some under franchise, others under their own identity, fuel stations are currently the major beneficiary of the inflation in the economy, because it's whatever they buy that they are selling, even the once in remote areas now has fuel to sell |
Politics › Re: SDP Picks Adewole Adebayo As Consensus Presidential Candidate by frog12: 12:29pm On May 10 |
which fund? how much? BodePolScience: They're neither wasting time nor money. Political Parties receive certain funds from the INEC, this ensures some kind of balance and level playing ground. PDP also did the same during their 16 years rule. They create and sponsor some parties to get more funds, more presidential/governorship "step down" and to weaken the votes or divide the votes of the major contenders. |

terrible people. they are only busy stealingWizardOfNG: This dude was Federal minister of power of Nigeria 2019–2021 under Buhari. He was busy stealing and never did anything productive. Same as was the case under GEJ.
We all known non cost-reflective tariffs and the huge debt GEJ and Buhari owed GENCOs and DISCOs, trillions, are two of the main problems preventing adequate power supply today.
Adelabu is the only power Minister to attempt putting in place gradual removal of subsidy in the power sector, with banding, that will address the issue of non cost-reflective tariffs that has prevented the privatised Nigerian power sector attracting foreign investor cash that can transform our power sector for the better immensely.
Tinubu has just put together a 3.3 trillio Naira package to pay debts GEJ and Buhari owed GENCOs and DISCOs.
Yet any sane and fairly intelligent person can believe Atiku and Obi fans claiming Adelabu is "Minister of darkness" and Tinubu has failed in the power sector?
What should be the conclusion regarding the failure of GEJ and Buhari if Nigerians are not a weapon fashioned against themselves?
Regional autonomy is the way abeg because when a solutions provider arrives, clearly making moves not seen before to solve the crazy problems others have caused, and Nigerians can only tag that leader a failure then it is clear we should all go and lead ourselves in our geopolitical zones independently. |

Politics › GUILTY Ex-power Minister Mamman Guilty In Alleged N33.8bn Fraud by frog12(op): 5:14pm On May 08 |
A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday found a former Minister of Power, Mr Saleh Mamman, guilty of money laundering and fraud charges. Trial judge, Justice James Omotosho, subsequently issued a warrant for his arrest, adding that Mamman should be brought to court for sentencing on the next adjourned date. The former minister was arraigned in July 2024, on alleged money laundering and conspiracy with officials at the ministry and some private companies to “indirectly convert” the sum of N33.8 billion meant for the Zungeru and Mambilla Hydro Electric Power projects. It's long overdue. Already abused. I mean to borrow to talk reddingtonblack: I am not saying everybody is like, Buh ONE i know is " How Nigerian think and react " ...its in our blood we adjust to manage most times, thats why they say we are resilience
i am telling Most average Nigerians are not weary of the diversion to borrow from Bank, i was listening to a radio show yesterday by some Genz wailing about the service block, they didnt even know alternative is now with the banks
just ask around, you will see people are not informed |
