The Presidency has defended the missed steps of President Bola Tinubu at the beginning of his official visit to Turkiye on Tuesday.
Presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, in a written response to THISDAY’s enquiries over the issue, explained that the President stepped on a metal which made him to lose his balance.
Describing the incident as no big deal, Onanuga clarified that President Tinubu did not fall but only tumbled.

There were TWO provinces in the Referendum...I'll call them North & South Cameroons, I don't know if that's the CORRECT official names.

Northern Cameroons voted YES to stay in Nigeria as part of the Northern Region of Nigeria.

Southern Cameroons voted NO and thus EXITED the Eastern Region of Nigeria.

The Southern Cameroons were afraid to the same thing that led the Sarduana of Sokoto to demand independence for the North in 1954 - IGBO DOMINATION.

I have friends and relatives whose families and kindreds lived in Cameroon before independence. They BOAST about how the Igbo totally DOMINATED the natives of that region. Their REAL problem is the character and makeup of the Black African.

Black Africans are very problematic....very exploitative, hateful of their own kind, possessed of crab-in-a-bucket mentality. That's why they sold their own kind into slavery.

In 1964 or so, the Southern Cameroons held Referenda to decide if they would stay in Nigeria. They went with Cameroon instead and today are suffering bad consequences. How is that anyone's business?

Why is Sudan your business? Do you export stuff to South Sudan...do you own a house there or what. Are you going to save Sudan?

I don't believe there's a viable path to Igbo self determination. Nigerians are Black Africans and as such will NEVER support the freedom of ANY OTHER Black Africans. So forget Biafra.

The question remains...WHY IS THE FATE OF MIDDLE BELT CHRISTIANS an Igbo concern?
