if he can bring down prices, no problem. i'm just saying watch-out since his model is to monopolise eventuallyCommentor: So, it should be sold at a higher price.
You're making a lot of sense.

same game he started yesterday with pms daily consumption rate. he is trying to monopolise everything. he wants to be the only player. Arostar2023: So for your left mind Dangote is for the masses, abi? Have you forgotten what he did to the cement market? Monopoly is a dangerous tool in the hand of the greedy. They will first start by destroying every opposition/competition by driving them out of the market by selling way below market price. They incur losses for a while but they won't feel it because they have huge capital. After that, they will start controlling the market and fixing prices as the deem fit. |

no be buhari boys start am ? dem wan scatter scatter everything so tinubu go lose AMINDA: Tinubu's biggest mistake was failing to rein in his hirelings from constant attacks against Buhari while he was alive and sidelining ALL his associates feom the CPC bloc. They continued with the attacks even in death. This was his official spokesman, Bayo Onanuga today, on the day of Buhari’s burial. They are simply letting out the sentiments of their principal. |

Nairaland General › Bashir Ahmad Dismissed Reports Buhari Was In Intensive Care by frog12(op): 1:32pm On Jul 15, 2025 |
How do you deal with media aides that deny unnecessarily? Saharareporters was right as far back as July 12 that Buhari was sick and dying. Though no disclosure about their health situation was made, SaharaReporters learnt from the Presidency source that former president Buhari "has an intestinal disorder that is killing him quietly while Abdusalam has age-related illnesses."
Buhari's former aide, Bashir Ahmad, had dismissed reports that he was in intensive care.
Ahmad stated on X: “In light of the recent media reports suggesting that former President Muhammadu Buhari is critically ill and has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), we find it necessary to set the record straight. “It is true that former President Buhari is unwell and is currently receiving medical attention. However, contrary to the exaggerated claims circulating in the media, he is stable and responding well to treatment and we are optimistic about his full recovery." https://saharareporters.com/2025/07/12/exclusive-two-former-nigerian-leaders-abdulsalami-buhari-sick-and-dying-london-source#google_vignette |

i think we were already consuming 45 million litres per day as far back as 1999. they suspect about 15 million may be smuggled to the borders. petroleum subsidy has been removed so the government should protect the borders more and prevent smuggling. so all these talk of consumption is meaningless unless someone wants to benefit from it. Reference: So is it the government you believe. A government that doesn't have solid population data, oil production and export data and even disputed economic performance data.
You only need to understand the relationship between energy consumption and development or economic growth.
The better your economy the higher your consumption generally so it is counterintuitive to imagine an economy declining from about 2014 till date to have a constant or even increasing energy consumption over that time period.
Most folks I know are consuming a lot less petroleum products than they did a few years ago and until the economy, revenues and disposable incomes improve I don't see that changing. |

IbrahimSola: That's why they rested Jonathan by all means. They formed a coalition to unseat him and ended up doing the unimaginable.
The international community is complicit. Will the international agencies, international press tell us they don't know the truth? Even the Agbado Lagos mainstream media knows but you won't hear pim.

so all ministers of petroleum know this for years and no act?? then all of them are criminals that should be arrested SalamRushdie: I have maintained this for ages that Nigeria doesn consume more than 15 million litres a day , this was what Tinubu was supposed to solve instead of shouting that subsidy is too much , if you fix daily consume you will see that Nigerian can easily afford any fue subsidy , I have a technique that can on earth true daily consumption figures |

and you believe this man? he is trying to kill the new refineries and maintain monopoly. are you telling me the ministry of petroleum allow for this bloated figures for many years? then you only need 1 refinery to meet daily consumption. the PH refinery is enough Reference: Wow...just wow.
See what corruption has cost this country. Even proper, righteous enterprises are not spared from its insidious fallout.
I hope this corrupt distortion of data was not the premise of Dangote going all out for a 650kbpd refinery.
That will be an overkill and until he can get other markets, perhaps a waste of resources.
Now of what effect is the real data on other investments in the pipeline by other enterprises....
PS. Are we sure we are actually up to 200 million citizens. |
