It is unfortunate how bitter politics introduced by the APC has now permeated our civil life such that no one is immune or beyond excoriation.
This malady started with Jonathan as the main target. Now even reputable Nigerians outside political offices who have always been seen as icons are getting served the meal wotoporiously.
This is what happens when youths are weaponised and encouraged to speak invective against occupiers of otherwise honorable positions.
The way out is a revival of national ethos and mutual respect betweenthe leaders and the led. The APC must accept responsibility for this malady instead of looking to make political mileage off it by disbanding its cadre of online instigators and enablers of tribal and religious fisticuffs which if not put out might lead to unintended consequences for the nation.

No reasonable person supports killing and I don't in any way support the killing of innocent people but lately Nigerian army has been behaving like a political party, making hasty pronouncements, trading blames without investigation, and it's not good for our democracy.
Nigeria is a very delicate country and propaganda won't solve our myriads of challenges. Hastening to tag the killers of the five soldiers as ipob is childish as it's naively conclusive and precludes investigation. The same Nigerian army published few months ago that some bad elements hide under ipob to commit atrocities. Why wouldn't the same army descend so low to hasty conclusions? I pray the reprisal they promised only get to the perpetrators and not the innocent people. I think we should have passed this embarrassing stage as a nation.
