With the Polytechnics offering exactly the same courses as the universities, it is very necessary to convert the Polytechnics to universities.

This has been long due to stop the discrimination of HND holders.

If any Polytechnics is subsequently going to remain or be established, it should be restricted to certain courses.

Yabatech is long due for conversion and is greater than many existing universities in Lagos and in Nigeria as a whole.
