hi, please i am trying to select the three choices from the countries, and it's only the first drop down box(first choice country) that has an option for the four countries. when i pick UK as my first choice no other countries come up on the drop down for the other choices(second and third choice countries) and if i pick another country as my first choice country, UK does not appear as a county to pick as my second or third choice.

Please has anyone experienced this? and how can i solve it. I have also tried different browsers it is still the same

There is an HCM contact attached to your mail. You will see the phone number and email address of the person there. Send a message to the person. That's what I did

I have sent , I hope I get a response soon because I cannot possibly make it today .

The notice was too short!

I sent a mail to the HCM contact that was contained in the mail I received, to ask if Covid Vaccination card is compulsory and if I could send someone to submit on my behalf if I am not around. He said the vaccination card isn't compulsory, just that I must be vaccinated before I start work, but he said I must submit the documents in person.

What if we can’t make it today? Because in my mail they said not to reply as there will be no response

Please, could anyone that has done their assessment center this week just let us know how long they spent? If we need to prepare to stay till 8pm like someone mentioned earlier or if they have improved in their time management.

Same here. Mine is on Thursday too .. work dey to go... The test sef dey strange
.what can we use to prep??.. epileptic power supply sef na issue.. cos it seems it will last from 7 to 4:30

It’s not a test, it’s an assessment center. You guys should just google assessment center and you will find information on it . Your competencies are basically just examined. So there are usually group discussions, personal presentations etc

Seems there are different days , please people who go earlier please let us know how it goes.

Good afternoon, please I would appreciate if anyone can answer my question.

For the schools I have seen and would like to apply to in France you apply directly to the school and you would need to pay application fees. With the way Nigeria is going and how debit cards no longer work for online transactions like these, please how do I go about paying these application fees ? If anyone has any idea I will greatly appreciate a response.

Thank you very much !

Please how do you intend to package your POF. I have outstanding 1720 euro to declare.

please from the new law that was passed somedays ago, it seems like its only POF for a year we are to show and will still get a two year permit.

Is that true?

This is strictly for University of Oulu. I don't know if it applies to other schools...

Nigeria
Requirements for Bachelor's Degrees: You must submit the West African Senior Secondary Certificate (WASSC) granted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) together with an unscratched Access Card/Scratch Card. The code in the card is used to verify your degree information using an online service.

Requirements for Master's Degrees: If you have completed or are completing your degree in Nigeria, an official transcript of records must be submitted to University of Oulu per post by the awarding institution. The envelope must be sealed by the awarding institution’s official stamp across the back flap.

The transcript of records must come to University of Oulu directly from the awarding institution and cannot be sent by the applicant. Please note that regular photocopies are not sufficient, even if they are sent by the awarding institution. University of Oulu only accepts official transcripts of record.

It is acceptable if the envelope contains other official documents awarded by the institution (e.g. degree certificate and diploma supplement). However, no other enclosures can be submitted with the transcript of records.

So I clearly did the below:
1. Uploaded an unscratched/scratched WAEC Card
2. Went to a High Court to Certify my hard copy WAEC (Certified True Copy stamped on it) and I uploaded it...

Yes, I understand, Thank you.
My question was how exactly you uploaded it because I cannot seem to find a link to upload

Mine is for a Bsc course... so it's just WAEC verification... Masters is different, ur school would have to send ur transcript (hard copy) on ur behalf...

yes, I do know this. thank you but we are also to upload some documents to the study info site, so please how did you go about that?

How did you go about yours...

1. I got my certificate certified in a court (They placed a certified copy stamp on it
2. I also got a WAEC scratch card, scanned it unscrached/scratch.

With this I uploaded them on the opintopolku.fi site.

I know we are supposed to send by post the hard copy of our transcript to the school. However, how did you upload these?

The document wasn't received by post , it was received by email to verifications@uhr.se, that's Thier way of response. I have such email when my university sent my transcript by email to verifications@uhr.se.

Yes I know, thank you very much.

I was just wondering when the verification happens because I watched a video and the lady was like If university admissions tries to verify your documents and probably the university does not confirm it can affect your application.

they no longer accept transcripts by mail

This can’t be true, this is totally opposite from what’s on their website concerning students from Nigeria.

Please how did you arrive at this?
Travel / Re: Swedish Admissions And Student Visa by Fumns: 6:03pm On Jan 17, 2022
Hello everyone, please who can help me answer this?

On the university admissions website, it mentions that university admissions checks the authenticity of my documents with the issuing institution which would be the school I went to here in Nigeria. As checked my documents page and it says there is a document received by post which I believe to be my transcripts sent from my school to the provided email.

Please who knows when this verification normally happens so that I would be able to contact my school and have them reply in a timely manner so that it does not hinder my application in any way.

Hello, good morning

Please anyone who has paid their application fee, what bank did you use or how did you go about it ?

I have seen some mention of some methods but there is no actual confirmation by anybody on what works except the method of getting someone abroad to pay for you.

Please if anyone has done it from Nigeria and it worked , i would appreciate if you could share how you got it done.

Thank you

Alas I don't know much about going through other African countries. But from comments on this thread, it appears to be a cumbersome process. And will typically take about a year (if you succeed). Feel free to search previous comments on the topic and maybe contact the authors.

On your first question, yes, in order for a cat B applicant to stand a chance, they typically have to apply before obtaining admission. This is based on the current policy. I don't know if the German embassy will change policy again.

Thank you once again, so i guess it is to apply for a visa appointment now and hopefully get an appointment date before the winter session starts next year then.

Thank you for answering once again

If you are a PhD student, you belong to cat A

If you graduated with a first class in your Bachelor’s degree within the last two years, you belong to CAT A

If you have a German or EU govt funded scholarship, then you belong to cat A.

Else you belong to cat B.

Thank you very much, I appreciate it !so does this mean that one should book an appointment for visa even before applying to a school? and worst case scenario how long does one wait to be booked for an appointment in class B?

I also saw some people mentioning getting the visa in another african country, how feasible is this?
Travel / Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Fumns: 4:37pm On Nov 14, 2021
Good evening,

I am interested in applying for a program to start winter 2022 and the application window opens next year march . I have been seeing category A and B on reading the last few pages of this thread and I do not understand what it means.

I went to the german mission in nigeria's website and it says this {( holding a bachelor's degree with a grade of 1. Class ONLY issued AFTER January 1st, 2019 (for registrations until March 31st 2021 = issued AFTER January 1st 2018) and being accepted for a master's degree (also a DSH course-related admission to the master's program)}.

Please can someone explain this to me as it seems one must wait for up to year to get an interview date at the embassy or who exactly is category A for?

I look forward to a response.

Thank you very much

First question, do you have an account with dragnet before?

If yes, you will likely not see that stuff because you have filled them when you opened account or when you applied for a job on their site.

Those who were opening their account for the first time saw those sections.

And all the people I know did not see that section, had an account with them already.

Yes , I already have an account with them.

Thank you very much
