Yes, its like making cake. The difference is in d recipe but the procedure is the same. Cake is soft n fluffy while cookies is crunchy.
Yes you can but its not economical you know....#I've baked a few cookies on stove before though.

Pls, clear me on this, u said d stainless plate shld b placed upside down in d pot, n heat it but how will d cake pan be balanced on d upside down plate cos i intend using d popular flat stainless plate.

It will be balance.....#wat I mean is that the plate should be placed facing the inside of the pot and then, you'll place your pan on it
