Some people dey always dey funny for this forum; like market na market, not a class room. Some people come to buy and sell to get what to eat while some come to buy to keep for the hey days. There is no class Captain here or Chief investment Strategist. Some would just come online and start castigating peoples choices as though they can see people's portfolio. This is Market and there is a reason it's called a market! This is market! stop forming Chief Investment Strategist. Even the sound stocks defy all the ratios. This is a market not Class room! After all sef everything na Game! |

In all these movements, it's OANDO I'm eagerly awaiting its own upward movement.....No matter how they try hard to suppress the mvmt... Recently some of us just believe that everything happening to this OANDO is not organic. |

Princkez: watch out for institutional investors to take up remaining 3b units @#100 and cash realised to be distributed as special dividend to shareholders...#10 per share, When and how ...I don't know ooo How will that happen? Grab it from shareholders? They would make new offer into Oando after a memo has been released? Based on the released memo, Oando does not have the Unilateral power to withdraw the offer again. Should new investors need to invest, management would relinquish some of their stake, if they feel they need such investment. |

Locotrader: Yes, I came out because of E tranzact and CWG. These used to be stocks of low profit margins in the past but today they have repositioned.Wait for CHAMS result any moment from now and see with your eyes how far they have improved. Apart from omatek and NCR that needs restructuring, other stocks in the ICT sector are candidates of N10,N15,N20. Cwg,E tranzact and Chams ,your own time has come.
I came back in peace. Senior Man, you are welcome. We don miss you o. Na so so English we dey hear since you left and criticism, people wey no fit predict 1% stock appreciation Abeg drop JIJO for Men o. |

emmanuelewumi: Professor Uche Uwaleke a professor of capital market studies said about 5 million.
SEC less than 5% of our adult population. Assuming we have 140 million adults in Nigeria, that is less than 7 million Nigerians NBS data shows 7.3% of the population are in Formal employment. Using latest data of those with sizeable disposable income, I doubt the 5m. |

Guinness na just less 2.2 billion OS.I good place to be if pull back happens Ikeja Hotel weldon and livestock can you sustain if we see drop in inflation in revenue I am waiting to see the bear this yr.Abi the stock market is no longer a reflection of the macro economy. And all fingers are pointing that this yr will be better than last Yr in naija. This I believe because every one will be heading to farm this yr as a result of shege from food prices last Yr which is already dropping. as a result of harvest. I agree with nosa.what we are seeing as per valuation in banks may not happen again in our generation unless civil and natural disasters. When zenith touched #70 in my portfolio. My dividend was like .50kobo if I can go trace the dividend slip. There is uneven distribution of wealth in Nigeria, with a population of 200m, of this value just 7.3% are in the formal sector which is about 14,600,000 while a paltry of a little over 100k are involved in the Stock market. Imagine if a sizeable number of Nigerians are involved in the market, say in the millions, the market will grow as well as the contribution to the economy and there will be liquidity. In the US over 150m of Americans are in the market. |
