Merry Christmas.

I was administered 4 destro saline drips and a couple of injections over two days due to dehydration as a result of intense vomiting without eating. My husband insisted on this because he read that I was suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. It is not a common occurrence in pregnant women so please do well to ensure your wife exhibits symptoms that points to HG before seeking medication. Here is a detailed information about it. You can also refer to this article on HG.

Need I remind you that the injections and drip will wear off after 1 or 2 days so what this means is that you need something that will help suppress vomiting as you can't be on drip and injection always. Before taking me to hospital, my husband searched a lot on nairaland for Hyperemesis Gravidarum and got instances of pregnant women who in the past had this situation and the medications they used. The one which interested him was where a lady said she used Doxylamine Succinate and Vitamin B6 which worked well for her. He decided to get that drug from the pharmacy but it looked like it is scarce in Nigeria. He was offered Meclozine in one of his pharmacy tour which surprisingly works well for me. It is a drug that helps with nausea and vomiting.

Please note that body system differs so there is no 100% guarantee that the drug will work for everyone but you can try. From further research, Meclozine is safe for use during pregnancy. I will advise you check with your wife's doctor or a medical practitioner about the medications she takes and what led her to take them so as to avoid complications with her pregnancy.

As against the pharmacist prescription of twice daily, I use it only once a day after my early morning vomiting and it works well for me throughout the day. I take pap before using the medicine. Vomiting after usage is minimal plus I can now eat a little unlike before, which to me is a huge improvement. If the information matters, I'm approaching my 11th week.

PS: I had to write this in detail for proper documentation. My husband found much information on nairaland while trying to help me. I'm hoping this will help someone in the future as well.

How are you doing Mama, how is the baby doing too, we are doing well here, the jabbing, kicking and elbow are not funny on Madam.

I wish everyone safe delivery. Team July

When I watched “Gladiator - 2000” around 2003, I started hunting for more Russell Crowe’s movies.

I watched “A Beautiful Mind - 2001” and I was enjoying it until it got towards the ending and I hated the movie.

I watched “Master and Commander - 2003” and I did not like it.

I watched “3:10 to Yuma - 2007”, I enjoyed it but I wasn’t satisfied.

I watched “The Man With The Iron Fists - 2012” and I did not like it.

Then I watched “Body of Lies - 2008” (One of my best movies ever ) and I loved it because of Leonardo DiCaprio and Golshifteh Farahani and MOST ESPECIALLY because of Mark Strong (His Arabic accent & persona were flawless). Yet, I kept on searching for Russell Crowe’s movies that would satiate my hunger.

Until tonight, when I watched this beautiful movie “THE NEXT THREE DAYS - 2010”.

This movie sweet die! grin

Tunisia 2004 Nations Cup Quarter Final (8 February 2004)

Samuel Eto’o scored for Cameroon off a fast break and Jay Jay Okocha equalised three minutes later from a fantastic freekick. And then there was a moment of magic.

Kanu Nwankwo got the ball in the middle of the park. The Cameroonians were confused because as soon as Kanu got the ball John Utaka ran to the right and Osaze Odemwingie, who had scored two goals against South Africa in the previous match, ran to the left. They didn’t know who to chase. Kanu chose to pass the ball to Utaka, who scored to give Nigeria victory. It ended

You are not getting my point.
My point is that if you have a population that is wildly dispersed over a large area it might look to be a smaller population than a similar population spread over an area which is much smaller.
I didn’t mean that large area automatically means large population .

Furthermore the countries you mentioned have large chunks of their land practically unable to sustain food production. My point though was about how low population density and visible crowds can be misleading when there is such a discrepancy in land area.

Thank You So Much my sister.

She was admitted twice, it's one of her Doctors she has worked with that handle her, at a point I was just confused, she was begging that we shouldn't allow her to die like this, I can't type all we went through I think it's same thing you both experience. But thank she is also better now and doing fine.

Merry Christmas, a prosperous new year and smooth months ahead.
