Sanchez was exactly in the same situation as RVP when Wengay sold him to us. Unless Mourinho was convinced for sure that he won't sign for us especially after making contact with Sanchez via his agent, I see no reason why we shouldn't have tried signing him. The Perisic deal has be ongoing for over a month now, if we'd put that effort on Sanchez while pursuing other options simultaneously, maybe there would be a glimmer of hope in signing him. I prefer buying Sanchez for 50m than that average Perisic for around the same sum. I just don't understand what Mourinho sees in that man. We can afford to pay Sanchez the 300k he's looking for and the UCL football too, we'd have gone for him especially with Bayern not interested anymore.

If he has something to prove why are you criticizing him when he puts in a decent performance and scores one goal and makes another?
If he scores you criticize him, if he does not you criticize him also?
And Martial has not PROVEN he can't be a striker. He is 21, at his age Henry was still a wasteful winger in Juventus and Drogba was just becoming a professional footballer.
WE NEED MULTIPLE PLAYERS TO SCORE IN DOUBLE DIGITS THIS SEASON and if Martial has decided to step up and become more of a goal scorer i am happy with that.
It is too early to start criticizing our players especially one that just scored one and assisted another.

The guy is so desperate to impress the manager and left Lukaku hanging many times in the second half Good thing is Lukaku makes the runs behind the back line Ibrahimovic wasn't making last season so creates space for the others to do damage.

He was not played as a winger in this match. He partnered Lukaku in attack and in my opinion he did ok, had a goal and an assist PLUS his touches were cleaner and quicker than Lukaku's.
