Funtiwon:
@Cashmaddam and esteemed members of the house. My dependant visa came out positive but the valid from date and valid until dates are just one day apart and both dates have even passed before notification to collect passport
What can I do to remedy the situation, please?
After getting back to TLS they collected the passport and resolved it the next day. I got my passport back the third day. Validity date now 3 months within which we collect the BRP. Thanks to those who contributed to my enquiry. Special thanks to @casmaddam, and @ashirioluwa

Thank you @Ashirioluwa.
What we did was walk to VFS and stated our case. And they collected the passport from us and gave us a copy of the biodata page, photocopied, stamped and signed and promised to call us as soon as the error is sorted.
Thanks to @Cashmaddam and others who provided us with feedbacks.

Ashirioluwa:
That was a human error. Contact UKVI by paid email or phone, and you will be asked to return the passport for necessary corrections to be made on the visa vignette

By email
The email will cost you £2.74. See the link below

I'm of the opinion they've made a decision on your application but since it was weekend and then the possible public holiday might have caused a delay in you receiving the mail. Because most people that receive the visa approval mail from UKVI, it's always dated like 2 days ago from when they actually receive it.
You're too much. So correct. God bless you. It came out positive

Please what was the outcome? Have you gotten a mail from TLS?
Yes, @Theo51, true to the advice from the house members, I got the visa today and it was dated 15th
Thank you and to all members of the forum. Good things shall never depart from your household.

I applied for the student visa and did my Biometric on the 22nd of August. After over 15 days, specifically on 12th September, I got a mail that processing my application is not straightforward and decision cannot be made within the service period of 15 days.
I got worried and decided to raise a paid enquiry on Sunday 15th Sept. They responded with the comments below. Meanwhile my online tracking status is still showing application with DMC.
Please what could probably be happening. @Cashmadam and other esteemed members of the forum. Kindly help with your advice.

Dear Bleep

Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.

Our records indicate a decision has been made on your application. We cannot discuss the outcome of your application on-line or by telephone.

If your visa has been granted, a visa vignette (sticker) will be stuck inside your passport with 3 months validity (from the start of your visa) to travel.

You will be contacted by VFS/TLS when your passport is ready for collection, or delivery of your passport.

Please do not attend the VAC until you have been contacted as you won’t be able to collect your passport until it is ready.

We strongly recommend that you do not buy a non-refundable, non-flexible ticket to the UK, until your visa application has been approved and you have received your documents.

Please note the information given to you on the progress of an application is dependent on the details you provide, and we can only provide the progress updates based on the application reference number given.

We do not have access to specific case information and so progress updates could be subject to change. Please wait for formal contact or a decision letter before taking any further steps.

Regards,

Bleep

Car TalkRe: Club-Lexus by Funtiwon: 5:07am On Feb 24, 2022
I just purchased a 2007 Lexus GX470 model from auction, with clean title. However my shipping agent confirmed the car was bringing heavy white smoke when they were moving it. As a result he has to containerised it down to Nigeria. Now I'm deeply worried on what awaits me when the vehicle arrive. Please can someone help a worried soul by recommending a great mechanic or potential solutions ahead for me? Please, I'm new here, so pardon any errors I may have made with my posting.
