Hi everyone I'm a Botany graduate from Nigeria currently applying for postgraduate Nursing programs in Australia, with rejection from Flinders University. Someone recently told me that with a Botany background, it may be difficult to get directly into a Nursing program and suggested I instead do a bridging program/ Masters closely related to Nursing then transfer into Nursing after a semester when I get there or I can finish the bridging program then work for a bit before applying to study Nursing. Has anyone here gone through something similar? What bridging programs (If any) have worked for people moving from a non-nursing science background into Nursing? Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has been through this process in Australia. Thanks in advance |
