Many people, after treating malaria forget something very important: Food is part of the healing process. If you’re recovering from malaria, below 👇🏾 is what to eat to get your full strength back. 🎯 Drink a lot of fluids Malaria and the drugs used for treatment can leave you dehydrated. Take water, coconut water, fresh fruit juice, or ORS. This helps replace lost fluids and supports your body. 🎯 Eat more fruits and vegetables You need vitamins, especially vitamin C and A, to help your immune system. Oranges, pawpaw, carrots, watermelon, and tomatoes are great choices. 🎯 Take iron-rich foods Malaria destroys red blood cells. You need iron to build them back. Eat liver, beans, spinach, red meat, and eggs to help your blood recover. 🎯 Eat energy-giving foods To recover, your body needs energy. Eat rice, yam, oats, pap, bread, and sweet potatoes to fight tiredness and weakness. 🎯 Eat enough protein Protein helps repair your body after the damage caused by malaria. Eat eggs, fish, chicken, milk, groundnuts, and beans to support healing. 🎯 Include healthy fats Good fats help your body absorb nutrients and stay strong. Use small amounts of palm oil, vegetable oil, eat avocados, or groundnuts. 🎯 Eat soft and small meals often You may not feel hungry after malaria. Take light foods like soup, pap, porridge, or custard in small amounts, many times a day. 🎯 Avoid alcohol and junk food Alcohol slows down healing and dehydrates you. Sugary snacks and fried junk add no real value. Stick to healthy, natural meals. 🎯 Continue eating well after the fever is gone Just because your body feels better doesn’t mean it’s fully healed. Eat well for 1–2 more weeks to recover your strength completely. 🎯 Ask about supplements if needed If you are not eating well or still feel weak, your doctor may suggest blood tonic, folic acid, or multivitamins. Always follow medical advice. Malaria treatment is not complete without proper food and rest. Drugs fight the parasite, but food helps your body bounce back. Eat well. Rest well. Heal completely. That "morning breath" has a simple explanation Here it is 👇🏾 1. Less saliva at night While sleeping, your mouth makes less saliva. Saliva helps wash away food and bacteria, so without it, germs multiply. 2. Bacteria release bad-smelling gases These bacteria break down food and dead cells, releasing sulfur compounds that smell bad. 3. Mouth breathing or snoring makes it worse It dries your mouth more, allowing bacteria to grow freely. — 🦷 How to reduce morning breath: - Brush and floss before bed - Scrape your tongue - Stay hydrated - Avoid smoking and late-night sugary snacks — 😮💨 Morning breath is normal. But if it’s too strong or lasts all day, see a dentist. It may be a sign of gum disease or infection. Please share to educate someone
