I just got an Infinix hot 4 pro and it's asking for system update... should I update it?

please help a brother, i have a time limit to submit my IT letter and commence internship... i am a student of mass communication, it can be in communication departments/units, Public Relation units, Media units/organizations, etc...

i stay in Abuja, the IT duration is 3 months... thanks in anticipation... compliments of the season!
