I used to think that pinbars dont work too and I dumped them sometime ago only to revisit them after reading James16 "Playing the Pinbars". I understood that what I have been seeing as pinbars were actually not.

One of the good characteristic of the pb is that its open and close must be within the high/low of the previous candle.

congrats my guy. the above may not be for you then but even when you do swing trading without SL you know it is not always 100% the time that price retraces to erase your loss and therefore you must have a point to curtail your loss in big price movements against you.


Methodman i feel you. I dont use SL as well and even when the market goes against me i hedge to make up for what ever i have loss and then wait for the price to retrace back.

Hello everyone. I read with interest the war of words between the two gladiators FXking2012 and Odiaro hope i got that right. Anyway wherever the pendulum swings indicate who won the battle, but needless to say this forum is not a battle ground but an avenue to come all round and give each other support and advise. I will advise the two parties to pls allow the sleeping dog lie and give meaningful advise to people like me that is new to the forex world and nairaland.
