It makes sense really...probably when the driver dropped the rider off, they saw him ending the trip and probably showing the fare for the trip to the rider and then one of them logged on to a rider account and made a request for an uber taxi. Truth is, there are times this airport taxi men request an uber taxi and when the uber arrives, they arrest his vehicle, probably they were waiting with the airport authorities and stuff...These things happen, so the safest way is not to accept requests around the airport, as you might not be able to tell if the rider is genuine or its one of the airport taxi men disguising as a rider. Go offline the moment you drop off a rider at the airport and only come online after you must have left the airport vicinity to avoid being requested by these airport taxi men and getting arrested upon arrival.

Cheers.

Boss...honestly, I am lost. Your updates are far apart, your story lacks continuity. One might have to go back to other pages and probably read other chapters and would still not catch up. The story started out very well, it was captivating, you caught attention, and what was left was for you to steer in the right direction. Now I am lost, too many characters, story is quite confusing. Instead of going direct to the point, you pay so much time addressing irrelevancies like describing a lady's wrapper and how its hanging, a boy's sandy laps, a man's shirt and all that, all in the name of playing with words.

Hit the nail on the head, make sure not to lose your readers because, honestly I am finding it hard to follow. You have let the praises from people on your use of words sway you into spending more time on words than the story line itself, instead of concentrating more on the purpose of the story.

I duff my hat for bibijay, she caught my attention from start to finish, I looked forward to every update with relish, her story on "allen avenue" was just on point.

Keep your eye on the goal boss, stay in check, make your story less fictional, waste less time on playing with words, this is prose not poetry, there's a certain level of expectation when one is reading a prose, and another when one is reading a poetry. Do not mumble things up. If you want to show dexterity in playing with words, do a poetry, if you wanna show creativity and the fact that you could captivate without losing your readers, focus more on actions from your story, stop forcing originality by spending so much time trying to paint streets or people or clothes or just any irrelevancy. Keep it straight and simple. I hope this helps.

Keep up the good work...its getting boring tho...really

Thanks for your honesty. I appreciate it alot. However, i'm not doing this because of 'likes', recognition I hope to get someday.

I push myself hard, but obviously not hard enough. That's something i'll work on. Please follow, and my other readers too.

All the best bro, I must say its not easy, but let me quickly point out that nothing good comes easy. I'm right here and I'm following closely and patiently too. Your job is highly creative, in the sense that it puts the reader in the scenario in terms of imagination.

Keep up the good work...

Nice morning!

In my opinion, your story is cool, but in the name of comments and recognition, you delay updates, and even when you choose to update, your updates are so little and ends up like a waste of time. Serve the story hot, do not kill the vibe, give them stuffs to comment about...I have been following, but severally I have been tempted to hit the unfollow button. A matured writer would not write for comments and likes, but would write professionally, ignoring the urge and desperation for comments and likes, these (comments and likes) would come with your quality and professional writing. Its like counting stars while losing focus on the moon. Its like seeking all other things and waiting for the kingdom of God to be added unto you, its like being pennywise and pound foolish. Make your updates frequent, consistent and lengthy, make it worth the short wait and make it worth being read.

Cheers!

Car Talk / Re: Which Do You Prefer - Manual Or Automatic Transmission? by FxHouse: 11:52am On Sep 12, 2016

The S signifies Sports Mode, right?

Yes, that's for the Ford Escape, and gear levels could be switched higher or lower with the push of a - and + button beside the gear lever. If you are conversant with older version of automatic cars, like the toyota camry, 2000, you would find that it has its selection as P R N D 2 L... But 2 and L which are lower gears have been replaced in newer version of automatic cars with a position where you could take control of the gear level you want, though most peeps either do not know the function or choose to ignore.

I just hope they don't phase out manual gears, cause that day, i will totally lose interest in driving henceforth.

Am still yet to get comfortable with automatic, it feels so odd and banal.

Take for example, i am moving at gear 3, so i want to overtake a long vehicle on time, i will proceed with the 3, then switch to gear 4 for a short time , then switch back to 3 and stomp on the gas pedal enough that jolts the speed up then when the gear has revved up enough put it back to 4, voilà!

How odd will it be pulling that trick on an automatic, if possible sef?

Some automatic cars have the same feature...try driving an automatic car with tiptronic gear and you would see yourself driving an "automatic-manual." This is because it has the normal PRND and then S gear level, on the S, you can choose to remain on a particular gear level for as long as you want to and then switch to a higher level or a lower level when you feel the need to. You could actually do this same thing you talked about, like move from a lower gear to a higher gear and back to a lower gear to gather momentum and switch to a higher gear almost immediately. Ford escape 2014 has that button on the side of the stick, and I'm sure alot of recent automatic cars have it too. Seen it on a highlander 2009, a KIA RIO 2015. Look out for the last selection of most recent automatic cars, you would find something like - and + signs. They put you in charge and allow you take full control of driving, just like manual cars. Why get just one, when you can get both in automatic car. You could switch between manual and automatic. Try reading about Tiptronic gears too, they were mostly common in german cars, though the features are coming up more in newer models of all brands of cars.
