I remember visiting Yobe, Damaturu many years ago and moving freely without fear of harm but even with 1 billion dollars reward, I can't visit any Northern state presently.

It's a big shame. Security is the number 1 role of government. Nothing thrives under insecurity.

Monday: SELL
Tuesday: To be decided
Wednesday: NO TRADE
Thursday: NO TRADE
Friday: BUY

NB: Remember to consult your technical analysis for entry and possible exit.

NB: This is different from the journal which details lessons the market teaches you each trading day.

Being organized and accountable in 2025 to yield a better result at year end is the goal.

I used to trade everyday denying myself sleep but I found it was counter productive.

As a day trader and for my peace of mind, I factor out days I believe will give me less stress and less drama.

Next week will be interesting. I am looking at Monday, Tuesday and Friday as possible trading days. The final trade plan will drop later today.

The rules are simple and straight forward!

1. Once you register, as the competition kick staffs, you open a trial demo account on fundednext.
2. All participants are to post their investors password of their funded next demo account.
3. Those who wish to take positions and hold them for long periods of time like 2-4 weeks and above, should get a demo account from deriv, which when a position has been opened on the funded next trial account should also be placed there, since the funded next demo account runs for 2 weeks, this would help to bridge the gap till the position is closed
4. The account size to be used in the funded next 6k trial account, while those who wish to hold trades for long would open a 10k deriv demo account, which the history would be posted before starting the challenge. So those who wish to hold trade for long should signify, apart from that, we must always post the new investment password once the demo account we’re using expires after two weeks!
5. We have from Friday to Sunday to post screenshots of our weekly trading history on the forum for all to see.
6. Once your account is breached you are out of the competition, the only thing that will make you remain in the competition is if you don’t hit the max draw down.
7. Data keeping is going to be very accurate and transparent for all to see, if you have a new account, your profit would be added to your balance on our record when we are publishing results for the week and month, even if you have a new demo account once the first one for two weeks expires, same applies to your loss!
8. We are using the max drawdown of the demo account!
9. Those that connect deriv demo, are not allowed to trade synthetics
10. NO CONSISTENCY RULES….. FIRE DEY GO

There won't be need for number 3 as it complicates things. Everyone should be on equal footing. No need for different accounts of $10k and 6k as there's disparity. It seems the competition is for 1 month. Why not everyone create account that can last that duration instead of cut and join. Check how forex competitions are organized, everyone has same account balance and same time duration.

It's sluggish but I'm in a no risk so I am expecting it to get to 2695 region at least by tomorrow. Either that or I get stopped out.

Thursday is a BUY for gold.

Meanwhile, I think Silver has changed to Bearish.

By estimation of average range.

The problem with this country is sabotage. Same situation applies to PHCN, down to security and other sectors.

So it had to take Dangote starting his refinery for them to come back to their senses?

Make no mistake about this. Trading gold is not easy and it becomes more tricky without a plan.

Here's my trading plan for next week:

Monday: sell
Tuesday: SELL
Wednesday: NO TRADE
Thursday: To be decided on Wednesday
Friday: NO TRADE

NB: Monday and Tuesday is where the action majorly lies for me.
I'll be looking for weakness around 2647 region for a possible sell to be exited on Tuesday around 2580/2590 region

This trade alone is expected to yield 400 - 700 pips

Next week bias for gold is BULLISH.

27.. region may be in view.

I have similar bias but I will be looking for entry tomorrow God willing.

I am a day trader so I'm not too sure of that target by tomorrow.

Gold could be heading to 2648/51 region if 2638 is broken.

My joy is that liquidity is coming into gold gradually.

I will be looking to buy gold tomorrow around 2612/13 region for a target of 2634/36.

That it's not working out now doesn't mean it won't work out tomorrow.

I am yet to see any regular job in Nigeria that pays as much as the financial markets if you have the right mentality.

Second week of January will bring clarity, direction, volume and normalcy.

You guys liking this post are mistaken oo. Its not to show off or something but to tell how stupid I was. Took a $20 account to that amount there then went and added another trades, stacked ok it and ended up blowing $70 out of unrealized profits and my balance.

I'm a Mess actually!

That's why I'm against adding positions whether losing or winning.
