RE-ECHOING PROPHET RICHARD UMOH'S SPONSORSHIP OF 50 FREE UTME JAMB FORMS FOR MBO STUDENTS. In a rare commitment for his people's educational advancement, Prophet Richard Umoh has demonstrated capacity and love by purchasing JAMB Forms for 50 students, extracted from coastal communities in Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. This kind-hearted gesture is aimed at assisting indigenous students who aspire to pursue higher education but are hindered by financial constraints. To some, the cost of obtaining a JAMB form had posed a significant obstacle to their dreams of attending institution of higher learning. With Prophet Umoh's swift intervention, those dreams now have a real chance of becoming a reality. In a brief address during the distribution of forms at the Community Secondary Grammar School, Okobo Ebughu on Friday 31st January, 2025, Prophet Richard Umoh encouraged the beneficiaries to take their education seriously, reminding them that knowledge is a lasting inheritance that can never be taken away. He emphasized that the gesture was not just an act of charity, but a seed sown into their future and the overall academic progress of Mbo people in the nearest future. In response, the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitudes and prayed for increased blessings to the donor. They promised to make good use of the opportunity by studying hard to pass the UTME with the required scores needed in their respective course of studies which they applied for. Thankfully, many of these beneficiaries had already passed the 2025 UTME with good scores. This act is one of many ways through which Prophet Richard Umoh has given back to the society, touch many lives even as a private individual. By deliberately investing in education of our youths, he is not only lifting individuals but equally sowing seeds that will place Mbo people on the paths of economic prosperity in the future.

MY JOURNEY INTO ORO UNITY FORUM (OUF) – Part 2 My Induction as a Full Member In my previous writing, I shared how I came to know about the Oro Unity Forum (OUF). In this piece, I will take you through the memorable day I was officially inducted as a full member of the forum. It all happened on the 13th of April, 2024, during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the forum, which was held at Eagle Point Hotel, No. 8 Atakpo Street, off Nwaniba Road. That day remains unforgettable in my life. It was the day I took a bold step forward, a day I fully committed myself to the vision and mission of the OUF. Alongside me, nine other new members were inducted, including notable individuals like Mr. Godwin Effiong, the Assistant Secretary, Mr. Okwong Okwong, the Public Relations Officer, and Mr Favour Atting. What made the moment even more special was the unity song that echoed through the hall: “I have decided to join OUF ×3, no turning ba… ck ×2” The song still rings in my heart till today. Indeed, OUF is truly a place to be. To be continued…
