[s] Tobrasky: You still haven't answered my question, I no get time for all these una boring lectures. What are the sociological factors responsible for your people fighting like hungry hyenas just to get loafs of bread, is it that bad? what are the Yoruba Forbes list billionaires and the daddy of the yoruuba race Jagaban himself doing it to alleviate the poverty plaguing the South West in these crisis situation? STOP COMPARING YOUR SITUATION TO other developed nations, the circumstances are VERY different, they still have good social welfare systems for their people... I don't see people fighting for ordinary bread, or scooping contaminated oil in muddy waters like your people... you can't keep fooling us with their Lagos-Ibadan concocted stats, does the reality on ground match your paper IGR stats? Nigeria has been adjudged the "Giants of Africa" for a number of factors, but does that title mean anything to the average middle to low income Nigerian? Use your head and figure it out. Livescores: Oponu was there a TOTAL lockdown in the North and East?
Ogun state Lagos and the Fct were totally lockdown.
We've seen videos of people Fighting the cops for food in SA.( Arguably the most developed country in Africa)
We're seen people queueing up for food in New York and Cali ( if you need proof check Explo.rers thread)
I wouldn't be surprised if the perpetrators of crimes in Lagos and Ogun are from the potopoto republic.
I thought Lagos is a no man's land? Suddenly Lagos is now yoruba land. Dont mind that mumu, No total lock down in anambra but we have heard news of one of them trying to jumped into Niger river at upper iweka. What is there is total lock down nko. |
Politics › Re: What Does The S/west Produce That Compares With The North? by Gabkosh: 6:19pm On Apr 15, 2020 |
Tobrasky: So in these lock down crisis nationwide, the East so far and to some extent parts of the North have been the least affected/hit by the COVID19 crisis, there have been no reports of hunger protests or other forms of social unrest anywhere in the East as far as reports go.
But the case is quite different In the Southwest, the supposedly utopian region of sophisticated billionaires, the most civilized people in Africa according to some, and the region with the lowest poverty index in the world (no pun intended) according to many. Yet the reports of thousands scrambling for oil in muddied waters keep emerging from Ogun state, the other day it was hundreds scrambling for ordinary bread in Lagos (whatever happened to social distancing)?, in Ogun state again another report of young men protesting/attacking Chinese owned businesses emerged... needless to mention increasing cases of the COVID19 in major parts of the region...now we have Awawa boys, 1 million boys and other criminal outfits terrorising parts of Lagos (I know they will as usual blame the Igbos on these one again ) even the majority if not all of the suspects and perpetrators caught so far have all been Yorubas.
So my question is, where are all these paper statistics of the South West been the most buoyant region in Africa, the richest and all the accolades that have been mellifluously accorded to the region by many here? how come we're not seeing these facts on ground? Please I want someone to explain to me what's actually going on... No insults please.
Where are all the Yoruba Forbes list billionaires, and what are they doing to curb these hunger games madness going on in the SW states? How many of your audio billionaires have donated one kobo. What do you have in the East that will make covid 19 hit you. Just one case in anambra, we already read about one suicide attempt. Is your region richer than USA, Italy, Spain, UK. When elders are discussing, baby like you should keep quiet and learn. |

My only concern is that even after these years and the level of education of the SW ritual killings is still common in skull mining Republic.
I would be glad if someone with a good understanding of the psycholog of an average SW explain to us why ritual killing is pervasive in SW. I am just curious and want to learn. Why is father sleeping with his daughter to the point of inviting friends common in igboland and southwest in general with the level of education they claimed to have. Why is kidnapping also rampant and why is selling of children the order of the day. I will like us to discuss that too. Don't forget, we will talk of ritualism in both regions too. |

[s] Ardar: OBA ADENIRAN
The Beginning
Gone are The Good Old Days When No One Was Above The Law In Nigeria,If What Transpired In 1949 Is To Happen In Present Day Nigeria,The Oba Will Get Away With It,On The 10th Day Of January 1949,Kabiyesi Samuel Adeniran Asusumasa Committed One Of The Greatest Crimes Ever Known To Man,He Sent an Herbalist On an Errand To Kidnap a 15 Month Old Girl By The Name Adediwura.
The Child who happened to belong to a Certain Mr Ojo who resides in the Community was playing peacefully in her compound while Her Parents engage Themselves In Household Chores,Within The Twinkle Of an Eye,The Baby Vanished, The Herbalist Have Succeeded, The Cry Of The Mother Filled The Air, She Became Confused as The Husband Became Dumbfounded,Nobody Could Explain How It happened,It was as If The Herbalist had them Under Surveillance, he struck at the Perfect Time
The Husband Picked Up himself and arrange Some Other Men To go To The Palace Of The King Oba Adeniran Who happened to be The 43rd Alaaye Of Efon-Search,In a low and orderly Tone,he explained everything that Transpired to the King, The King listened attentively and Asked Him to Go,That They will Get To The Root of It,Soon After,The King Organised a Search Party and Involved Men Of The Police, but it was a Futile Search
The Next Day,When The Search Party were Exhausted, The Herbalist and His Wife Went to the House Of The King In The Late Hours Of The Night,Some Incantations were Made and Before The Very Eyes Of The King, The Innocent Baby Was Butchered With Blood Spilling In Almost Every Corner Of The Room,The Deed Has Been Done, Their Aim Has Been Achieved
The Eyes of The Little Child Was Plucked Out, Her Tongue and Other Sensitive Parts of Her Body Were Removed, After This, The King Brought Out Kolanuts and Asked All Present To Swear To an Oath Of Secrecy, If Anybody Should Try To Divulge The Secrets Of The Happenings That Night To Anybody, He/She Shall Be Met With Instant Death,After This,The Remaining Lifeless Body Of The Girl Was Taken Into The Forest and Buried
Justice Was Served
The Loss Of The Baby Left The Parents In a Great Trauma,Their Conscience Pricked Them because They Felt The Kidnap Of The Child Could Have Been Averted If They Had Watched Over Their Poor Child, Exactly 10th Of February 1949,A Combined Team Of Police Detectives Swung into Action and Within The Shortest Possible Time, They Realized That The Child May Have Been a Victim Of Ritualist,They Immediately Swung Into Action, After Much Investigation,Arrest Were Made, The Herbalist Known As Enoch Falayi, Another Gabriel Olabirinjo and Daniel Ojo Were All Picked up, Gabriel and Daniel Were The Herbalist Personal Messengers
As Usual,Every Evil Doer Must Face The Result Of Their Actions,One Of The Arrested Suspects Got Bold Enough and Decided To Damn The Consequences Of The Oath Of Secrecy They Took as He Believed He was Doomed Either Way,He Narrated Everything To The Police To The Barest Details,He Confessed The King Was The Chief Mastermind Of The Whole Event,The King Was Immediately Ordered To Be Arrested,The Entire Village Could Not Believe Their Eyes That The King Could Send Out a Search Party After Committing The Greatest Sin The Land Has Ever Witnessed, Justice NS Pollad Of British Extraction Was In Charge Of The Case Of The Kabiyesi, Oba Adeniran Is Not Giving Up So Easily As He Picked One Of The Best Brains In The Land, Obafemi Awolowo as His Lawyer, Yes You Heard Me Right,The Same Awolowo Whose Head Is Found In Today's One Hundred Naira Note,Awolowo Did His Best, He Argued That His Client Might Be a Victim Of Some People Who Want To Bring The King Down
The Judge Refused To Listen To All The Claims Of Awolowo,The Kabiyesi Could Not Believe His Eyes,It Was as If He Was Dreaming,Justice Pollard Finally Said That The Evidences Present Before Him Is Enough To Convince Him That Kabiyesi Samuel Adeniran Asusumasa Atewogboye II was Guilty Of The Crime, He was Therefore Sentenced To Death By Hanging Alongside His Accomplices But Daniel Ojo Was Freed As There Was No Enough Evidence To Point Out His Involvement In The Gruesome Murder.

[s] freeman131: The Presidency has reacted to the comments of the Nobel Laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka, faulting the lockdown order of the Federal Government that Nigeria is not in a “war emergency”.
It said the playwright had no specialty in medicine but may choose to write a play on the pandemic after the emergency was over.
In a statement signed on Wednesday night by Garba Shehu, a media aide to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), the presidency re-emphasised that the 14-day lockdown is in the interest of Nigerians.
The president’s spokesman advised Nigerians to trust science and not fiction.
He said, “Professor Soyinka is not a medical professor. His qualifications are in English literature, and his prizes are for writing books and plays for theatres.
“Across the world…mandated lockdowns are in place to slow and defeat the spread of coronavirus.
“The Government’s primary duty in law and action is the defence of the people of Nigeria. We face a global pandemic. Nigeria is now affected. The scientific and medical guidance the world over is clear: the way to defeat the virus is to halt its spread through limitation of movement of people.
“Perhaps, Wole Soyinka may write a play on the coronavirus pandemic, after this emergency is over.
“In the meantime, we ask the people of Nigeria to trust the words of our doctors and scientists – and not fiction writers – at this time of national crisis.”
