That mansion is definitely a statement piece, but given the state of Nigeria’s power sector, it’s no surprise people have mixed feelings. While the architecture is impressive, many will argue that real “luxury” would be consistent electricity for everyone. |
That’s troubling. It shows just how urgent prison security reforms are needed both in terms of infrastructure and staff welfare/training. Hopefully, the authorities can quickly track down the escapees and also address whatever loopholes allowed it to happen in the first place. |
If your iPhone screen is cracked and you want to repair it without losing Face ID, the key is to protect and preserve the TrueDepth camera system (the sensors above your screen) during the repair process. Understand the Risk On Face ID–enabled iPhones (iPhone X and newer), Face ID components are tied to the logic board. The flood illuminator is attached to the display assembly. If you damage these parts or replace them with non-original ones, Face ID may permanently stop working—even if you swap them back. Backup Your Data First Before starting, do an iCloud or iTunes/Finder backup in case something goes wrong. This won’t preserve Face ID hardware, but it ensures you don’t lose your data. Use an Original or High-Quality Screen Always use Apple Genuine Parts or high-quality OEM replacements. Cheap aftermarket screens can interfere with sensor alignment, making Face ID unreliable. Keep the Face ID Hardware Intact The Face ID system consists of: Flood Illuminator (on display) Dot Projector (in notch) Infrared Camera (in notch) During screen replacement: Transfer the entire sensor flex cable assembly from the old screen to the new one. Do not cut, twist, or sharply bend the flex cable—it’s fragile. Avoid touching the infrared sensors with bare fingers. Follow the Right Repair Procedure If doing it yourself (requires proper tools): Power off the phone. Remove pentalobe screws at the bottom. Use a suction cup + prying tool to gently lift the display from the frame. Disconnect the battery first. Disconnect the display cables and sensor flex carefully. Move the sensor assembly from the old screen to the new one without damage. Reassemble, reconnect battery, and test Face ID before sealing the screen.
