etrange: I see you’re crying out for enlightenment. Let me help.
First of all, passports don’t determine ethnicity. It’s mostly used to determine nationality while travelling. I don’t have a Nigerian passport and I’ve not lived in Nigeria for some years now. Does that mean I’m no longer of a Nigerian ethnicity? No. Anyone can get any country’s passport if they certify the requirements for it, that does not automatically get rid of their ethnicity.
Second, talking about nationality, having dual nationality doesn’t mean having one passport with two countries on it; bro this 2025, let us not be thinking like unexposed people. Dual nationality means having two citizenships, and you may or may not have the passports of both countries (it’s only compulsory when you’re travelling). You’re talking about having only one country’s name on one’s passport, meanwhile more 50% of the entire American population don’t even have passport at all. Does it make them non Americans? No. That’s because passport is the only prove of citizenship and it definitely doesn’t prove ethnicity.
Yes, Kemi’s kids are automatically qualified for Nigerian citizenship and, therefore, passport. Even if her kids all marry white men and women, her grandkids are also qualified for Nigerian citizenship/passport. The only person not qualified is her husband, and that is because of the patriarchal nature of our laws. Please, know your laws before coming online to argue these things. Most importantly, stop mixing up nationality with ethnicity. Story story Ethnicity is even more stringent that nationality and that it why you can't really be a Nigerian if your father is not one. As a Nigerian, you must belong to an ethnicity, state, local government and town/village. In Nigeria, ethnicity is determined by paternity. You can't be said to belong to a Nigerian ethnicity if your father is not one with them. In the original argument, the claim was that Seyi's wife is Igbo which is not true. She can't be Igbo just because her mum is one. Hence she is neither Igbo nor Nigerian. |

We MUST produce enough crude 🪔 to sell to our local refineries and meet our OPEC quota Currently we are struggling to meet our OPEC quota Only then can we be immune from the shocks of international market crude oil price fluctuations But then, if our local PMS becomes far cheaper compared to our neighbour's, won't it lead to massive smuggling |

etrange: I don’t know the individual you both are talking about it amazes me that in 2025, you still do not know that race/ethnicity/nationality are not solely decided by one parent. You do not know that a mixed person is equally from both sides of their parents? Father decides what? Father decides your race? Or you think someone would be a denied Nigerian passport because it’s their mother that is Nigerian? Please, let’s get educated on things like this so we don’t sound dumb when we chat. On an international passport, there is no allowance for such detail as what percentage of a particular country you are. Kemi Badenoch's children CANNOT automatically obtain a Nigerian passport. They are NOT Nigerians!!! |

erico2k2: Ignore that post, that is not the reason, All over the world there is overcrowding once you have loads of laws to brake, the US is a typical example, The UK has a system where there is maximum of 2 persons in a cell, and thats not up to 20% of all the jails in the UK, the vast majority of them have single cells, So spaces are limited plus damages to the cells do not help. What they call problem in the west is actually domes day in Africa. Are you sure |

Xisnin: UK seems to haz the laziest young citizens in the whole wide thanks to the overburdened and unsustainable welfare system that makes it more profitable to be jobless than working.
Eventually, something will have to give or in the future they will be desperately recruiting foreign judges, cops, civil servants and maybe MPs too to help run the country.
None of the political parties would even dare address the issue but they choose to blame the systemic dysfunctionality on immigration.
UK desperately needs another Margaret Thatcher. The citizens are wiser now They've discovered that working is advanced slavery to the government and unlike Nigerians and other immigrants, there is no home country to send hard-earned pounds to to carry out projects as consolation. So they quit! |

EyeCumInPiece: Buhari + Tinubu that made him President, are primarily responsible for the present woes of Nigeria. You can't judge Tinubu until the end of his tenure But we can say for sure that Buhari was a catastrophe Tinubu being a loyal party man dare not expose Buhari otherwise Nigerians will cry blood on hearing the extent of Buhari's carnage on the country. |
