Nice point,but I ask you what happens when the transfer window for January shuts and Marcus Rashford fails to secure a loan or sale deal to another club?
It is looking highly likely that Rashford will remain a United player when the window shuts down. Does Amorim continue to freeze him out while using him for training purposes? Does United continue to pay his astronomical salary while Rashford sits on the bench?
Would this not be equivalent to cutting ones nose to spite his face. I am not in support of Rasfords infantile attitude but I still believe he offers United more in attack than Hojlund and Zirkzee combined.

We just need to get a CM on a 6-month loan if Casemiro leaves this January. We can manage with the new CM, Ugarte, Mainoo, Collyer, Eriksen, with Bruno also being able to play there if necessary. In the summer we offload Eriksen and get a quality starter level CM on a permanent deal.

Where we need to spend big money is in the attacking areas (CF, Left 10, WBs)

We can get short term loan deals this January while Amorin assesses both the senior players and the academy players closest to senior football. Then in the summer we clear out bloated senior salaries and sell off some of the academy prospects that might yield some PSR money if they won't fit into the system.

There are several players in the youth system however who are tailor made for this 3-4-3. CapitalCee and i were discussing who could fit into Amorin's system after he was first hired and we mentioned Kukonki, Mantato, Lacey, Ibrahimov and i also mentioned Moorhouse. We have a few potential squad players in that academy for this system even if they won't become stars.

It's just that he is lazy and to slow when in possession. If he bulks up and adds aggressiveness to his game, he will be a night for defenders. He already has the right height and skillset to go with with.

To be honest i have not watched much of him. He is better than what we have on that left side but i think we need someone younger and hungrier than him. We should not buy any player above 25yrs of age.

It won’t be cheap but we have to consider the quality of the player. The main thing is not to overpay in terms of salary.

Only an irrational person would be angry for this loss. It was expected. We can’t really do well against big teams at this stage. We just focus on getting all three points against small and mid table clubs. We will make top 6 or 8 by doing just that.
