RomanceRe: What Is The Highest Amount You Have Paid For Sex? by gapin99421: 5:49pm On Mar 22, 2023
Gerrard59:
I read to the end. The major reason I like Nairaland - the real nature of Nigerians is displayed, no forming. This is how the typical Nigerian man spends on sex, and how he loves it. Like I've said countless times here, the average Nigerian man is sex starved. If the country was very liberal, culturally and religiously, like countries in Southern Africa, I doubt sex will be so monetized as it's in Nigeria.

To those who say get a wife or girlfriend, well, that doesn't stop men from patronising prostitutes. It's akin to those who say polygamy stops a man from cheating. In fact, the vast majority of men who patronise prostitutes are married men and those in serious relationships. As long as testosterone exists, men will always desire for sex and spend on it. To some men, sex is a hobby just as a sommelier loves tasting and drinking different wines. There are people who spend a lot on wine tasting and drinking. Hobbies can be addictive, one just has to manage it properly and financially.

Additionally, sex is not free. The belief that it's free is entirely false. Sex is paid for in either kind (offering a job, contract or admission), cash (like opined on this thread) and commitment (marriage/engagement). However, in rare cases, handsome men get sex for free. This is the top 1% of Nigerian men as the vast majority of Nigerian men are ugly (myself inclusive). If you think getting a wife equates free sex, don't drop feeding money or money for her upkeep and beauty products.

In conclusion, the best way to derive benefit from the sex industry is to offer a service or products that patrons and players consume. This could be as a restaurant (my hypothesis says 50% of restaurants in Nigeria will shut down should men be faithful to their partners, ditto 75% of hotels for the same reason), lounges, intimacy gadgets, herbs for sex enhancement etc. Men will always demand for sex, you don't have to play as a patron but as an entrepreneur. That's how my parents built their wealth.
The rate of campus prostitution in Nigeria is rapidly increasing and becoming a major concern. A study by The Guardian Nigeria shows that about 75% of female undergraduates engage in sex work. This worrying trend is fueled by politicians, lawmakers, businessmen, and other influential men in the society who patronize female students.

This practice has severe implications for both the affected women and the society at large. As more young women resort to sex work to fund their bad bitch lifestyle or support their families, they risk being stigmatized, traumatized, and exposed to HIV/AIDS and ritual killings. This may result in a generation of women with low self-esteem, self-worth, and limited opportunities, which could have a negative impact on the future of the nation.

The prevalence of campus sex trade also disrupts the traditional family structure, leading to a breakdown of family values, and parents relying on their children for financial support. Moreover, the practice may have a negative impact on young men's prospects of finding wives, as it may be perceived as a viable means of income, leading to a further increase in demand for sex workers.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) found that 70% of female Nigerian university students engage in transactional sex, and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has reported rescuing many university students from human trafficking. Additionally, a survey by the Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) indicates that over 60% of female students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria have experienced sexual harassment or assault.

Nigeria ranks 133rd out of 149 countries in terms of gender equality, with particular challenges in women's economic participation and opportunity. These statistics demonstrate the urgent need for policymakers, parents, and the society at large to address the root causes of the campus sex trade.

In conclusion, urgent action is required to address the growing rate of campus sex trade in Nigeria, as it poses severe consequences for the women involved and the society as a whole.
Family"The Negative Effect Of Feminism, Social Media, & Ill-gotten Wealth On Society. by gapin99421(op): 7:55pm On Feb 13, 2023
In recent times, the pursuit of wealth and the increasing trend of divorce have created a generation of children who are not familiar with the comfort and stability of having two parents. Single parents are often overextended from work and find it challenging to provide adequate care for their children. The rise of feminism and social media has also played a significant role in the decline of traditional family structures.

The promotion of individualism and self-centered goals through social media has contributed to the breakdown of strong family ties. Additionally, the feminist movement has encouraged women to prioritize their careers over their family responsibilities, leading to a decline in the importance of traditional family structures.

Poor leadership and a lack of opportunities in many communities have led to a rise in criminal activities. This has resulted in a glorification of crime, a distrust of education, and a shortage of positive role models for young people. Children from homes where parents have abdicated their responsibilities are more likely to look up to individuals involved in internet fraud, local fraud, kidnapping, armed robbery, cult violence, drug trafficking, ritualistic practices, and organ trafficking.

Family structures serve as a protective barrier between young and impressionable minds and the negative aspects of society. The current trend, however, has resulted in a decline in the importance of family structures, which presents a concerning future for the preservation of the family unit.

The situation presents a difficult cycle to break away from, as children born into these circumstances are often destined to continue the trend. The absence of stability and support in their homes, along with a lack of positive role models and opportunities, makes it challenging for them to escape the trap of poverty and crime. The influence of feminism and social media has only added to the already challenging situation.
