CrimeRe: MUST READ: MY EXPERIENCE USING ACCESS BANK ATM IN FUTO YESTERDAY by garywhite: 5:19pm On Jun 01, 2018
MY EXPERIENCE AT GTBank ABule Taylor Today,(01/06/2018)

GTBank is a first call bank when you make a list of banks that swept people's feet with a strong wave of wow activities toward her customers. Everyone wanted to identify with GTBank as a result of the young and vibrant members of staff attending to queries and all.

However things are changing as a result of the demolition of your bigger branch at Abule Egba bus stop, which makes the e-branch at Abule Taylor the only option people around Abule Egba and its environ got for all Financial Activities.

GTBank was a topnotch, when it came to customer service experience, but i like to say that culture is gone.

I am and have been a loyal customer to GTBank regardless of my CONSTANT heart aches at several business offices due to the unruly acts by her CSRs particularly at the e-branch located at Abule Taylor where i recently had another painful experience. Standing for more than 2hrs and seeing people jumping queues to get their issues attended to by the Customer Service Reps, and those on queue acting as queue officers angrily just to ensure they are attended to early enough.

Invariably, a GTBank staff (OLUWASEYI) acted amazingly by helping a woman that arrived in about 2mins jump queue while a lot of people had been patiently waiting. While a customer spoke against this OLUWASEYI's act another staff (TOSIN with first computer on your right after passing through the mantrap door took Seyi's side and said "I ONLY do BVN, and this woman came for BVN". What? Only BVN as a bank's CSR? Surprisingly, she attended to me and my issue wasn't BVN related. I see her act unprofessional and unethical. OLUWASEYI had earlier argued with me and gave me a BVN form when i told her categorically that my issue wasn't BVN related. While i was also explaining, she gave the attitudinal look, more like i was merely speaking "English". Lol

I have realized your CSRs aren't patient enough to LISTEN to customer complaints before jumping right into issue resolution. And this led to me having two accounts in GTBank when i wanted one. Instead of upgrading my student account to normal savings, the CSR opened a new one for me.

Well i'd waited for 2 SOLID hours to resolve two issues (1. Internet banking for my account & 2.Card decline message during Facebook Ad promotion online payment). I told CSR TOSIN about my second issue and she gave the face of "i can ONLY resolve one issue" and she referred me to the tellers, IMAGINE? I'd asked the tellers upon entering into the bank; BUKOLA a teller, said the debit card decline could either be network or to report the issue at the CSR desk.

This made me become observant; lo & behold, i saw another customer engaging the CSR between AYOMIPO and TOSIN (The pregnant CSR) in an argument while the CSR also made attitudinal faces and hissed. You wouldn't blame this customers for having to stand more than 4hrs, while the CSRs don't rest at all too, becuase you got just ONE branch in the whole of Abule Egba and its environ, located at Abule Taylor.

Going forward, i suggest you re-orientate your CSRs more on how to respect customers and always act professional while dealing with irate customers. Secondly, We need a bigger GTBank business office between Abule Egba and Ijaiye.

Deebay:
1. There's no cut off to be considered to be in the pool but to receive invitation to apply for PR you need a score minimum of the score taken for that particular draw. The lowest draw some far has been 413.
2. I haven't heard of reading score change, all I have heard are speaking and writing. Answers for reading are definite unlike S and W. You could give it a try.
3. Masters gives you the highest point, you could evaluate only that or include your BSc for evaluation if you feel like evaluating BSc.
Spouse should evaluate both so as to get scores in the pool for both degrees.
Thank you so much. You are a blessing. We are indeed grateful.

Kontagious:
Hi,

Q1. There is no cut off point in the pool, but the higher your CRS, the higher your chances of getting ITA early. Over time, scores have dropped than they have increased (by this I mean the number of successive drops is higher than the number of times CRS have increased). Last 5 draws were 415, 413, 449, 441 and 433 - It has dropped 3 times compared to just one "magnanimous" increase. You'd also notice that, scores were at a time about your 414. That was around June this year if I am right. So, it depends on time you willing to wait. However, if your spouse 6.5 in reading can be increased to 7, I'm pretty sure you'd have a significant boost in your CRS, maybe by 50 point. You can permutate that with the CRS tool.

Q2. Nothing is really certain until you try, people have shared their experiences having increased score in almost all components of the test, reading inclusive.

Q3. Your question isn't too clear, but you are to evaluate your highest degree. If you have a masters, evaluate that, it gives more point than any other safe for PHd. If you have HND, evuluate the HNd and ONd using WES, that gives more points than BSc. Same applies to your spouse. Evaluate your highest degree

Great people, please assist with your opinion.
God bless you. That's a lot of hope given. We are indeed grateful.

Please good People of Nairaland, i honestly need your advice coupled with the fact that i have so many questions before IELTS make somebody go depressed:

(1) Is there a cut-off before you can be considered to be in the pool?
Spouse and i have 414 from CRS assessment altogether from LRSW: 8.5, 6.5, 7.5,7.5 & 6, 6.5, 6, 7.

(2)Whats the possibility for reading remark to be upgraded cuz i'm not so buoyant for a re-sit.

(3) What certificates or Transcripts alike are important to be sent to WES? Cuz i have HND, BEng, MEng spouse has BSc and PGD

They might let it cover for the OND as well. From what I've seen, they put two years diploma in front of OND, and they put 3years diploma and 1year postgraduate certificate in front of HND. They then put postgraduate certificate as the summary. The only thing is that they may write in front of the OND that transcript wasn't sent but then his certificate was sent and since HND is higher which is their central focus, I think your hubby is good.

If however the evaluation comes out with a problem on it, you can arrange for the OND transcript to be sent and added, a new evaluation will be done at likely no charge

[quote author=KweenCee post=56989771]I got WES mail today too. My evaluation is completed. Mine took exactly 30 days even when i evaluated only Nigerian Degree. Here is my timeline:

Status updated to "Documents received - Review in Progress" on 28/04
Verification request sent to Institution on 9/05
Institution responded on 11/05
Status changed to "Evaluation in Progress" on 12/05
Evaluation Completed today 29/05.

This shows that WES can actually be fast with evaluation if only our Nigerian Institutions can be fast in verifying our transcripts.

To my issue guys,i was delayed by IELTS. I had 7877 in LRWS. And to be frank i was only scared of my reading. Anyway,i want to give remark a shot. I have cause to be in Abuja tomorrow for an official duty. I want to know if my Test Report Form will still be in their office so i can kill two birds with a stone.. How many days does it take British Council to ship report form?

Please i am awaiting response.[/quote
